matchmaker quest 4.0- trauma

when Lucy opened her eyes she was

facing Gared- and seeing him again terrified her- it was like a living nightmare

"Gared-" she couldn't get the words out she was shaking-

Gared looked at her confused

"Lucy- what's wrong?-" He replied

"I-I-just please don't this Gared- they don't deserve it- take me!-kill me!-" she shouted

both Victoria and Sebastian were very concerned

"Why is she acting like this?-" Sebastian asked

"I-I-don't know- but- I think I caused it-" Gared replied

" Hey sweetheart we're alive and well he isn't doing anything to us" Victoria replied

She saw Victoria- but it didn't help her calm down

Victoria was there

She held Logan well

Sebastian and Karz skinned Eric alive in front of him

"Please Gared stop it- stop it!

Please just take me instead!" She shouted

Sebastian grabbed her from behind

and hugged her tight

She looked up at him- and those green eyes

-still reminded her of Gared

but she wasn't scared anymore

"hey it's alright Lucy- it's me Sebastian-"

she tried to stay calm- and took a deep breath

but seeing Sebastian didn't help either

-but- those eyes weren't dull- they were very bright- he wasn't turned yet-

"I-I- I'm back then?-you're not going to hurt me?" she asked

"of course not and what happened? you had an whole panic attack-" he replied

"I- had a nightmare and I guess it's still effecting me-" she replied

"what was it about?" he replied

"I-rather not talk about it- It was just too painful-" she replied

"what exactly is your past with Gared?" he asked

"I-I-rather forget it- he wasn't the best person-

but-he changed-" she replied

"Well I'm here if you ever need anything-" Sebastian said

He grabbed her again and they kissed

It was a nice kiss

She felt very calm and relaxed

and Victoria pulled Gared away

before he saw them kiss

he was the trigger- and she didn't know what it was but something felt off about him

"You're letting him kiss her?!-" Gared shouted

"because she deserves it- and I don't know anything about you but- you did something to her didn't you?-" she replied

"I-I didn't do anything to her! I love her!" Gared shouted

"You're lieing- I know you are- so you better tell the truth-" She replied

"Yes you're right but what does it matter?

I was the one who broke her heart-

I planned to kill her-

I was planning to kill Drew but I couldn't

"Victoria- if she loved me then why did she let Sebastian kiss her? Why not me? Why did she choose Eric? Or Lucas?

Why not just me?" he replied

She didn't say anything

because she didn't know the answer

Gared walked away from her

and she couldn't say anything else

He was too far away for her to reach him

and he never looked back

that's when Sebastian came to her

"hey are you alright?" he asked

"We are not your playthings!" Victoria shouted

"I will not hurt you-" he replied

"But you did before-" she replied

"I know and for that I'm sorry-"he replied

"Then what was that kiss? Just to get her to shut up?-" Victoria asked

"Maybe- I don't know-" Sebastian replied

"Do you love her?" Victoria asked

"Yes," he replied

"Then why did you kiss her?" Victoria asked

"Because she's worth it," he replied

"That's not an answer," Victoria replied

"I-I-I'm sorry- I-I don't know what else to say-" Sebastian replied

"Nothing- I get it-" Victoria replied

"No you don't get it-" Sebastian replied

"Then help me get it-" she replied

"You're just pissed off because you didn't get your kiss-" Sebastian replied

"It's not just that!" Victoria shouted

"Then what is it? I'm talking to you as a friend-" Sebastian asked

"I-I don't- I can't- I can't talk about it-" Victoria replied

she remembered everything- she wasn't supposed but she did and things were different this time

she no longer wanted revenge on her

she regretted what she did to her

and she was pissed off at Gared -

and she didn't want her to get hurt again

Sebastian remembered his last words to her

but he didn't remember anything after that

"I'm sorry-" he said

"I-I don't know what else to say- you're all I have left-" she replied

"Then talk to me-" he pleaded

"I can't I- I can't-" Victoria said, breaking down in sobs.

"Victoria," Sebastian said, he walked towards her and she flinched and tried to step away from him

"I know what's bothering you-" he said, gently placing his hands on her shoulders

"You're upset that I didn't choose you-"

"That isn't it!" Victoria snapped

"Then what is it?-" he asked, slightly annoyed

"I- it's just-" Victoria said, and then she stopped talking

"Just what?" he asked

"I don't want you to hurt her as I did-" she replied

"What are you talking about?" he asked

"just don't hurt her ok?-" Victoria replied

, as if talking to a child

"I wouldn't hurt her-" he said, raising his voice

"I don't trust you!" she shouted, pushing him away

from her

"I'm not going to hurt her!" Sebastian shouted, raising his hands up in self-defence

"Well then what is it? What's bothering you?" she asked

"I regret hurting her- I wasn't able to choose her-" he replied

"You-you remember?!-" she shouted

"I remember my last words to her but- I don't remember anything after that-" he replied

"Well you rejected me too and you chose Karz-"

"I chose him? But why?" He replied

"Because he needed you- and he probably still does-and she needs you too-we all do-" she replied

"Then- I will- I promise-" he replied

"promise what?" she asked

"that I will protect you all-" he replied

She looked up at him, tears in her eyes

and she smiled, nodding her head
