Chapter 12

Christabel's pov

"It's a good thing you're a girl." He kissed my earlobe and lay me down on the grass before sleeping beside me.

"Walls have ears." I warned.

"Whatever! We're sleeping here. Till morning."

I sighed. I can't leave him here too.

Just pray I don't get to see snakes and wild animals.

'You can use your Gem powers." My subconscious said

'Gem power my foot.'

I turned to the prince, he's sleeping already?

My eyes darted to his chest. Such a broad chest.

I felt the urge to touch his body but I restricted.

I'm with the prince right now. And I can't believe it.

Finally, my eyes closed and I slept off.

Prince's Lucien's pov

I turned my head to the left then right. Something was on my chest and i looked down to see Chris. I mean Christabel's head on my chest.

Her lips were parted a little. I moved my hand to touch her blonde hair. So soft.

My wristwatch beeped. It was just 5:32am.

Instead of waking Christabel up, I carried her in my arms and led the way to my room.

I can't believe I told her my secret yesterday. About my powers and blue eyes. Dad and mom never told me who I am.

But I'm going to find out myself.

I got to my room and lay her down on my bed before using the duvet to cover her body.

Staring at her face, I was happy she's a girl. I thought I was gradually turning to gay but I'm not.

She's really pretty, huh?

She mumbled some words before turning to the other side of the bed.

Good thing, today is Saturday.

I rushed to the bathroom to take my bath and came back wearing my clothes. Christabel was still sleeping.

Immediately I was done cooking breakfast, she walked into the kitchen.

"Oh no! Sorry, I woke up late." She widened her eyes when she saw me applying jam on the bread.

"It's okay. I guess you're tired. Moreover, today's Saturday. Less work." I smiled.

"Your eyes are green now."

"Yeah."

She walked further into the kitchen.

"Let me help you with the Bread." She stretched her hand to take the bread from me but I caught her hand and kissed her forehead.

Christabel's pov

I gasped at the sudden kiss he gave me.

"No need, baby girl." He sighed.

"You know what? Some how, I feel so happy that you're a girl. At least, I won't be called gay next time."

"Are....you..go...going to tell your siblings that I'm a girl?" I asked.

"No, not now. When the time comes, I shall. Beautiful Chris." He teased.

Beautiful Chris indeed.

Since I don't have anything to do or help, I decided to go take my bath and the breakfast was ready when I wore my clothes.

After breakfast, I went back to my room. Doing nothing. But then, I took my phone and started playing games. Still boring.

I chatted with Nancy and natasha for a while. I suddenly heard a joyful scream from the other room.

I jumped down from the bed to go peep outside through the window and saw some students outside playing football.

I guess a team won that's why they shouted like that. I hissed and turned to sit on my bed.

Then, something came to my mind. Should just go there and watch? At least to kill this boredom I'm feeling right now.

I nodded and got down from the bed.

"I'm going to watch football" I said to the prince who was busy with his phone.

Since, he didn't give me a glance, I walked out the room.

**

"Here comes the newbie" Someone laughed and everyone turned to me. I sat down beside a boy who was watching also.

"You can come play or you don't know how to play a ball?" Another student said.

I don't really know how to play a football but I can try.

"I'm not good at it." I replied.

"You should try it. Come kick this ball into the net and let's see if you're skilled or not."

I glanced at the ball and smirked.

Without argument, I got up and kicked the ball straight. But instead of the net, I kicked it to a glass window.

I mean, the prince's window. And it broke.

I'm doomed. Seriously doomed.

"What did you just do?" Someone yelled.

"I told you he's not skilled. The prince is going to cut off my head." Another whined.

"I'm sorry. I didn't know the ball is going to end that way." I quickly apologized.

But will that do anything.

"The prince is here now. You have to do something."

I raised my head up to see the prince coming. My heart beat faster as his were glued on me. He walked to where the ball is and picked it up.

"Who did this to my window?" He'd asked, pointing to the broken Window.

"He's the one"

"This boy did it." They began pointing at me while I just stared at the prince.

He's going to do something. His eyes narrowed as he walked towards me and finally, he got to me and grabbed my hand before dragging me.

"Where are you taking me?" I asked.

His grip on my wrist was hurting.

"Why did you break the window? I knew you were going to do something funny when you told me you'd be going to watch football!" He snapped.

I pressed my lips together. "I'm sorry. I never knew the ball was going to hit the window."

"You didn't know? You are going to pay me for this. Find a way to get that glass fix. Else, you will sleep outside." He said and threw the ball at me.

Is he really that angry now?

"How do I do that? I can't go out of the school. You know that." I whined.

"I don't care. Just get the glass fixed."

"I don't even know how to fix a glass window. Aissh! What have I done?" I muttered.

The prince walked away and I followed him but when I got to the door, he slammed the door. Not wanting me to come in.

"Get the glass and come inside." He winked before slamming the door.

Now, he's acting arrogant and rude. What the hell?

Who asked me to go watch football outside? If only I knew.

Those guys even asked me to play the ball. And I'm not good in playing ball?

Where do I get the glass window now?
