End Of Mating Season.

Alex was standing behind a tree, hiding quietly, but he knew it was fruitless. No one could hide from any werewolf tonight, especially not when you're that werewolf's mate.

"No, no, no, this can't be right," Alex whispered anxiously as he felt the scent getting nearer and nearer.

The moment the moon turned full, a strong musky scent hit his nose; he instantly ran in the direction of the scent, but when he found the big brown wolf that owned the tantalizing musky scent; he suddenly shifted to human form and quickly ran to hide away from the wolf.

But it was too late because the wolf had already scented him and was now tailing his tracks.

Alex closed his eyes as he felt the presence of someone behind the tree he was hiding, wishing a miracle would happen and he'd be somehow missed by his seeker.

"Open your eyes, Cub," Andrew's voice sounded right beside his ear, sending tingles from his ears down to his toes.
