Deck Chronicles : Unexpected Deviations

As soon as Raymond finished his chat with Ra , the telephone ring.

*Rinngg**Riing*

"Hello" Say Raymond almost guessing who was at the end of the other line.

"Hello Matthew ... The total will be $ 2000 , you must transfer the first part to the account that i will be sending you in a couple of minutes."

"No problem ... " Replied Raymond with a smirk on his face.

" Okay , goodbye".

"Goodbye".

"Let`s prepare for the show Ra "

"And what a show it will be... Am i right Raymon?"

" And what a show indeed..."

Flashback end

After hugging Severus and conforting him and stayin in silence a little more , raymond carefully select his words.

"Severus ... What happened?"

"Because unless you are into filming horror movies , this..." Said Raymond while with a hand indicating to his surroundings.

"Is Abnormal ... Even for you standars" Finish Raymond his dialogue.

"I ... I,I,I" Says Severus while starting to tearing up a little remembering all what have gone through a little ago.

*Uffff*

Severus inhale and exhale air to calm himself , and start explaining all to Raymond.

How he was studying...

How he heard a Sudden Scream...

How he open the door and enter his hell...

How he saw his mother...

How his Psicotic father killed his mother...

And how he killed his father...

After seeing this Raymond thought something.

'How unfortunate , he couldn´t have witness the torture his mother went through , at least that way he would be more broken' Thought Raymond Sad and look at the floor.

Severus Though Raymond was trying to find words to confort all the pain he went through and he was really thankfull for that.

Severus seeing the attitude Raymond has with him and all the previous efforts and behaviors of him. Decide it was time to tell Raymond something he hasn´t told anyone.

Even Lily

"Hey Raymond ... i want to tell you something" Say Severus with Determination and Saddnes in his Eyes.

'Here it comes' Thought Raymond expectantly.

"What?"

"I am ... I am a .... I am a wizard" Says Severus after struggling a lot this past month , he couldn´t decided wether to tell Raymond or not.

He didn´t tell Lily about it , and he was thinking not telling Raymond too , but with today acts , how fast he arrived when he need him despite how it was for Raymond to know his address.

"Oh ... What a coincidence me too" Said while he look straight through his glasses to Severus eyes.

"oh ... WAIT WHAT???!!!"

"Yeah i had my magical outburst a couple years ago..."

"Oh... Well that´s great that way we can go Hogwarts together!!!"

"Hogwarts?" Raymond act as he was ignorant about that place.

"Yeah ... it´s the collage for Wizards in ingland , it has been around since a long time ago"

"Oh ... it must be ... splendid ... I always love ancient architecture" Recalling the castle he used to live with Marcus.

"Who would have guess that 'THE' Raymond Reddington would like classy and old style" Said Severus Sarcastically

"Well ... sue me" Said Raymond in a weird joking manner seeing that Severus is using this conversation to cope with the situation as some people while dealing with sadness try to think of another thing to 'lessen' the pain that they have.

They laugh a little and he look around and remember what had happen, Severus took a deep breath and trying to show that this didn´t affect him when, in reality, he was very broken and at the same time very gratefull to Raymond for his efforts.

They stayed in silence for a minute before Raymond speek up.

"I have a place where i live ... I have a guest room , it´s better than this"

Raymond turn around with Severus they were face to face.

"Why are you telling me that?"

"I want that you come and live with me"

Severus widen his eyes and shout.

"WHAT!!!"

"I will repeat it, seeing that you haven´t listen, i want you to come and live with me"

"I heard it the first time"

"What about your parents"

"As you know i am an orphan and my legal tutor ... is dead"

"Oh ... i ,i,i , i am sorry , i didn't think th-"

"Save it , it doesn´t matter now anyways"

Raymond look around and said

"Do you like this place?"

"No"

"Then pack all the things you have , and that may have value"

"Wait !!!"

"Huh?"

"What are we going to do with..." Severus look at his dead mother body.

"We are going to burn it all"

"WHAT?!"

"You heard me , we are gonna burn all the house including the body , as maybe if we left the corpse behind someone could do anything to her be it physicall or magical"

"What kind of things?" Severus ask with uncertainty.

"Magically they could put ... i don´t know as i have neither know or study magic , but i imagine some kind of curse to the descendants of your mother , meaning you , or some kind of blood curse that would fall into you"

"And physically..."

*Gulp*

"And physically?"

"Physically someone could rape the body as there are some kind of people who like doing things like that and they are called Necrophilics"

Severus nearly throw out but he endure it.

*Gulp*

"Well ,now, i think you should understand the dangers of leaving the body of your mother "

Severus replied with a nod of his head

"Well now pack your things we are gonna leave after that"

Severus then run upstairs and to put his things away.

After a while Severus arrive with a puch.

"And that is...?" Raymond ask with an arch brow.

Severus lip is rising a little and he said.

"This my dear friend is a punch with an enchantment that allows the pouch to have a very large space."

"Oh..." Exclaim Raymond with his same stoic face.

*Sigh*

"You are hard to impress , right?"

"Yes ... , because i am very paranoid and i try to imagine all the possible outcomes"

"I ... see"

"Well , let´s get going"

"Can i say a ... few words"

Raymond look at him for a moment and said

"Sure"

After that he exit the house

Severus walks to his mother and said

"Mom ... Although we never truly get along , i wanted to say that i love you and that i,i,i *Sniff* *Sniff*"

Severus couldn`t finish his sentence as he broke in tears in front of the tortured cold body of his mother.

After 5 minutes of crying he stand up and says

"I promise , no , I swear you that i will never be as weak as before , i will be stronger , i will make up a name up to myself , i will seek revenge from the one that did this to us ,i will protect what and who i hold dear"

"I WON`T BE HOPELESS ANYMORE"

After that with determination burning in his eyes he said.

"I love you mom and please watch me from heaven"

After that we see a boy with a determinated face open the door of what appears to be a slaughter house.

"Finish?" Asked Raymond while leaning against the charger face to face with Severus.

"Yeah ... "

Suddenly the black haired boy widen his eyes seeing the black car.

Raymod seeing atonishment , he smirk a little .

"Do you like it?"

"Yeah"

Raymond seeing that Severus is still gawking got a little impatient.

"Will you enter the car or not?"

"Ah , ah yes "

Severus goes to the other side of the car and was about to enter when he pause and ask.

"Raymond , one question"

"Mhmmm?" Raymond humm indicating that Severus ask the question.

"Who will drive?"

"Me"

"Hahahha , Raymond i didn´t know you were a comedian"

"I am not joking"

"How -"

"I know how to drive and other things that i will tell you when we arrive at the complex"

"Okay..."

After that Raymond and Severus enter the car

*Whistle* "Damn Raymond , it´s a beauty"

"Yes it is"

(Insert Licht und Schatten)

Raymond turn on the engine and as soon as he did that the charger motor made a sound similar to that of a beast.

"Ummm... Raymond i don´t want to be a party pooper but what about the house?"

Raymond just look at Severus and from out of nowhere a staff appeared.

Severus carefully looked at the staff

Overall Appearance: The Gold Visor Staff is a golden-colored, ceremonial-looking staff with intricate and elaborate details. It exudes an aura of authority and power, emphasizing Raymond status as a dominant and enigmatic character .

The top of the staff features a large, ornamental headpiece, resembling a crown or a ceremonial crest. It has an intricate design with various motifs, such as spirals, lines, and other decorative elements. This headpiece houses the staff's primary ability to project and control the Undead creatures.

The bottom part of the staff features a bladed or pointed end, resembling a weapon. This end can be used for close combat when Raymond needs to defend himself or engage in direct physical combat.

The Gold Visor Staff likely has a slot to insert Advent Cards. These cards are crucial for accessing special abilities and powers. When the appropriate card is inserted, it grants Raymond new abilities and attacks.

The staff's grip is adorned with intricate designs and patterns, adding to its luxurious and prestigious appearance. The entire staff is crafted with attention to detail, showcasing the care and craftsmanship invested in creating this powerful weapon.

And from out of his hand he notice Raymond has a card in his hand , he insert that card in the golden slot.

Raymond point his staff at his soon to be ex-house.

And then a sound came.

*Fire Vent*

And suddenly the house who he lived from a very young age , that has mostly sad memories was engulfed in what appears to be like a never ending fire.

A fire that consume everything , a fire that burn till the most miniscule particle , a fire that only leave destruction.

But for Severus this was a fire of liberation.

Raymond step on to the accelerator and they got out of the scene before someone else come to look out.

The house had a notice-me-not charm but Raymond broke that with the attack.

As they made way to the complex they see a lot of cars that belongs some to the police , another to the medics and a truck that belong to the fire fighters.

Soon they were out of the radar.

And Raymond drive while taking his time to enjoy with Severus the breath taking view of london night.

Soon they arrive to the parking lot of the complex.

They get out of the car and go to the elevator were Severus notice that there were still old blood marks.

"Mhhm Raymond whose blood is this" Ask Severus with a little of fear.

"Mine"

*Sigh*

"It´s appear that the cleaning personal hasn´t clean that yet , i should specify from now on"

"WHAT!!!"

"Raymond what has happ-"

"I will answer all of your doubts in my studio on the complex"

"Soon enough"

The elevator soon arrive at the hallway before the entrance of the complex.

They walk a little and Severus seeing the path of blood was a little unnerved but determined to ask about it to Raymond later.

They arrive to a door where Raymond , under the incredulous eyes of Severus, put a code and do the eye scanner and hand print scanner.

Seconds later the door open and Severus see the complex for the first time and was numb.

All the beauty

The living quarters are a seamless blend of modern sophistication and timeless elegance. Every inch of the interior is meticulously designed, with attention paid to the smallest details. Luxurious fabrics, plush furnishings, and exquisite décor create an atmosphere of comfort and refinement.

The main living area boasts floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook a meticulously landscaped garden. Here, priceless art pieces, collected from around the world, grace the walls, offering a glimpse into Raymond's eclectic tastes and sophisticated sensibilities.

Beyond the living area lies a private study, equipped with an extensive library of rare books and texts on a wide range of subjects. It is a place of intellectual exploration, where Raymond indulges in his thirst for knowledge and contemplation.

The VIP complex also houses a state-of-the-art security system, with surveillance cameras and advanced technology ensuring that Raymond's safety is never compromised. A team of highly trained security personnel stands ready to protect him at all times.

In addition to the living quarters, the complex boasts an array of amenities for Raymond's comfort and convenience. A private gym, an indoor swimming pool, and a spa provide opportunities for relaxation and rejuvenation after demanding days.

A secluded garden oasis, lush with vibrant flora, offers a serene retreat from the outside world. Here, Raymond can enjoy moments of solitude, surrounded by the soothing sounds of nature.

After that they go to the private study of Raymond and Raymond go behind his desk and sit down, Severus quickly leaving the shock behind he sit to.

"Do you want something to drink Coffe , te , milk , a glass of water perhaps?"

"Oh , eh , a tea would be nice"

"Sure ..."

Raymond the press a hidden comunicator in the desk and he order a coffe and a tea.

After 3 minutes they chef arrive and serve the drinks and left quickly the scene.

"Now ... that we are in a more "Private" enviroment you can ask "

Severus like a machine gun ask the questions in succession now that he is more stable and he can think more clearly.

"How are you a wizard Raymond?"

"How can you know my adress?"

"Who are you really Raymond?"

"I will answer the three of them in a story..."

"Do you like stories?I love them , do you know that en each story there are some truth hidden within the lies"

"Our story starts with a boy who lived in a very "perilous" and sickening enviroment , your house would appear to be a heaven compared with this place , then one day the boy who was trapped in this space saw that something has happened to the place and he could finally escape."

"So the boy took his chance and escape"

"And escape he did after running a bit he found clothes and a strange deck , that he suspect was provided by lady magic"

"After that the kid walk for an endless amount of time before he met a policeman and a gangster"

Severus stiffened a bit when he heard gangster and deep within his eyes the feeling of hatred begged to be unleash , to have his revenge against the people who did this to his mother.

Raymond was about to continue but was cut off by an open door an what appears to he the most beautifull golden bird fly to raymond shoulder.

"Ra ... you should have knock"

"Severus this is Ra ... my companion"

Severus was marvelled at the bird but trying to be cool but failing miserably he reply as

"Severus Snape a pleasure"

*Chirp*

"He says that the feeling is mutual"

"Where was i , oh right"

"So the gangster and the policeman were hurt and the gangster offer me a chance to escape my fate and join something greater but before i must "deal" with the policeman permanently"

"After i did that i help the gangster go to a hospital and then to his mansion"

" He put me throuhg all kinds of training be it linguistic , fighting style , etc"

" Fast foward a little after i was 6 years old i was commend to assist on a mission"

" Month pass and the mission was progressing good until everything went shit"

"My partner and i were captured and tortured"

After saying this Raymond lift his shirt and show Severus his scars , Severus was numb.

After a moment he sat down again.

" I didn´t feel much as my masters has prepare me more or less for this kind of thing"

"But one day a strange man with a wand and old clothes came and he started torturing me with a spell"

Severus was praying to god that the wizard spell woulnd´t be that one.

"Do you know the name of the spell Severus?"

"It was "Crucio""

At this point of the story , Severus was trying to not cry as the thought of surviving and be exposed to that curse was worse than hell

"He throw that spell over and over and over again"

"Funny thing really was that the spell didn´t do much damage to me"

Severus hearing this was looking at Raymond with an incredulous gaze.

"But after that i was feeling like i was thrown into the nexus of the sun "

"My body was on fire and i couldn´t even control it "

"I was just tied to a chair and feeling like i was thrown into the sun directly , repeatedly"

"My mind was like castle of glass "

"My sense of time was dull"

"I was fighting with all my will to remain focus and that the spell and the aftermath don´t affect me"

"One day my magic woke up and the building was set on fire , i kill the wizard with a golden flame"

"The magician tried to do something but was too slowed"

"After that i went to the place were i had called home"

"It was destroyed"

"My mentor , the one who could be the far as i can get of a parental figure was killed"

"Everything was destroyed "

"What appeared to be a very beautifull mansion were now converted into ashes, and the scent of death and destruction was the only thing that still stayed in that place"

"I search for something usefull that could provide an explanationa as to the questions"

"Why?"

"Who?"

"And when?"

"After that i encounter my teachers , the ones that aren´t missing or dead , and they told me that Marcus the gangster that offer me the opportunity and the one that had been my parental figure as well as the head of the organization was backstabbed by traitors as well as other organizations"

"I plan for month revenge on one and i did it , that´s why the blood on the hallway and elevator , i had over estimate my capabilities"

"After that i got to know your name and well the rest of the story you know"

Raymond finish his monologue and was hug by Severus who keep saying sorry like a broken record.

"It´s alright"

"The reason i knew that where your place is , was due to me being paranoid and feeling something wrong, i used the very broken net of information that i currently have and figure your place out"

" Sorry for being paranoid , it´s just that the last time i had this feeling was when they ambush my partner and me"

"Would you pardon me Severus?"

"Raymond... thank you ,*Sob* i*Sob* , there is nothing to pardon about , you did the right thing"

" Thanks"

"Well now the second thing i want to tell you is that , i want to invite you to the organization"

"I consider you a genious in all aspects , you are a master of science from the little of chemistry of what i had seen from you"

"You are loyal , and can do what needs to be done in some case"

"You are ruthless and i appreciate that"

"So what you say Severus , would you join the organization?"

Severus take a moment to answer.

He began to think of all of what had happened in his life.

Of his mother.

Of the scum of his father.

Of the cruel Lily.

And of his friend Raymond who had suffered more than possibly anybody and is still standing despite all of that he still pursuing power and greatness.

He thinks how he kill his father and how his friend Raymond save him from commiting suicide as he had that plan in mind.

He think that he has to repay Raymond and he has to help his friend with his dream.

As severus promise and dream are deeply shared with the dream of his best friend

So severus look at Raymond eyes and said

"Yes"

Raymond smile and Ra too

"Then welcome Severus Prince , we have much to discuss"

'A strong ally , a loyal companion and a genius to top it all , i got only that by killing his mother , how wonderfull and easily manipulated can the mind of a child be'

'After all , in this world there is neither good nor evil, there is only power and it will only be suitable for those who know how to use it'
