Harry Potter and the Fortunate Queen

“You will hear many of his Death Eaters claiming that they are in his confidence, that they alone are close to him, even understand him. They are deluded. Lord Voldemort has never had a friend, nor do I believe that he has ever wanted one,” Dumbledore told Harry Potter with absolute certainty. But what if Voldemort did have a friend? Not just a friend but the friend? A millennia-old wizard, who learned the secret of Hogwarts from the great Four founders, and had his own goals to take over the world? To stop that ancient wizard, an ancient power is called upon . . . in the form of a girl. A Muggle-born at that. Christina Norton has powers beyond anyone's imagination but she is too caught up in the Chosen One Harry Potter's life and catastrophes. But as she starts to uncover the plans of Voldemort, she realizes someone else is working with him. Someone who wants her dead. Why? She doesn't know. She just knows she has to save her loved ones and Hogwarts from Malgino and for that she is ready to go to the end of the world. And fight whoever comes in her way. Warning: It was my first book, so the first volume is going to be a bumpy ride. Things start to change at the end of the second volume, so if you can hang in there till then, welcome. Disclaimer: I neither own the original Harry Potter book series (I mean y'all already know that but still) nor the book cover (I guess I edited it but it doesn't count). The Prophecy

At lunch, Bill informed that a large number of Order members had left to bring Harry to the Grimmauld Place.

Ron and Hermione looked excited and anxious at the same time. Chris was relived by the news, as she was getting tired of disappointing Hedwig everyday.

That evening, Chris was staring at the evening sky, while lying on a long wooden stage, on the roof of the Grimmauld Place. The rooftop was hidden by other houses, a wooden bench and a wooden platform lay there taking the most of the roof.

Dumbledore climbed on the roof and Chris got up.

"Aha, Christina!" Dumbledore said smiling. "Enjoying the fresh air, I suppose?"

"Yes Professor." Chris said. "The house feels pretty gloomy sometimes."

"Indeed." Dumbledore sat on the bench. "And also it's difficult stay here for a long time."

"Professor, I wanted to ask you, if I can go out?" Chris said at once. "I need to talk to Dames about the incident happened with Harry. I think he can give me an idea about the entire Dementor situation."

Dumbledore looked sober as he nodded.

"You'll have your chance. I'm curious too but we need to wait for the right time." He said. "I think you understand, that it's really important to keep you and Harry safe as much as possible, considering the connections between Harry and Voldemort; you and Malgino."

Dumbledore's words made Chris's doubts clear. She have to defeat Malgino before he kills her, there's no other way around it. Maybe that was why the founders took her to their memory lanes.

Chris sighed.

"I realized that much, but why? I got that, I've a connection with Malgino and the keys, but why Harry? Why's Riddle so obsessed with Harry and most importantly why he tried to kill baby Harry in the first place? Do Harry know the reason? Because he never mentioned it to me."

Dumbledore looked very serious and old suddenly.

"He doesn't." he said quietly.

"He doesn't? He never asked?" Chris was very surprised by this.

The boy has some serious curiosity issues and he doesn't know about the first fact of his tragic life?

"He asked, yes, but I couldn't bring myself to tell him the truth." Dumbledore sighed. "He was so young when he asked me... I thought I'll tell him one day but not now."

"But you can now. Harry is fifteen and he is mature enough to understand it, I think." Chris said. "I mean after what happened last year... Don't he deserve to know the truth, Professor?"

Dumbledore smiled but it was nothing like his usual calm and affectionate smile, it looked like a bitter one.

"The truth!" he said. "It is a beautiful and terrible thing, and should therefore be treated with great caution. But you've to understand Christina, when I first saw Harry, after he arrived at Hogwarts, he was neither as happy nor as well nourished as I would have liked, perhaps, yet alive and healthy. He was not a pampered little prince, but as normal a boy as I could have hoped under the circumstances. And that.. created problems, I care about him too much Christina. So I couldn't burden him with this terrible truth. A big flaw in my master plan."

Chris stared at Dumbledore for few moments, Dumbledore's blue eyes were looking watery, as he looked up at the sky again.

"But.." Chris said softly. "You'll kill him if you leave him like that, Professor. We can't fight the dangers if we don't know what's coming for us. If you can trust me, I think you can trust Harry too. He's..."

Chris abruptly stopped as she suddenly realized why Dumbledore wasn't telling the truth to Harry. She knew Harry for three years now, and she knew if the connection between Harry and Voldemort was anything like her and Malgino's then it'll be disturbing for Harry. Harry was no killer, he didn't have that killing instincts.

"I trust him, Christina. I trust Harry, but right now, I can not tell him the truth myself." Dumbledore said with a steady voice. "The connection between Harry and Voldemort is growing and it'll be more stronger now, as Voldemort has returned to full body. We must be cautious about what we do around him, because there is a great chance that Voldemort will attempt to force his way into Harry's mind, to manipulate and misdirect his thoughts."

"So that's why you stopped everyone from informing him about this, sir?" Chris asked.

Dumbledore looked at her and nodded.

"But I suppose, you're quite right. I'm putting Harry in danger by not telling him about few things he deserves to know." He sighed. "I'm making the mistake, Voldemort wants me to make."

"So you'll tell him?"

"No you'll. As I said I can not get closed to Harry, now. If Voldemort realize that Harry and my relationship is — or have ever been — closer than that of headmaster and pupil, he will seize his chance to use Harry as a means to spy on me." Dumbledore replied. "But you're his friend, you can tell him certain things clearly."

There was a tensed silence for few minutes, Dumbledore's bright blue eyes pierced Chris through his half-moon glasses, and Chris's dark blue eyes expressed confidence and assurance.

"Voldemort tried to kill Harry when he was a child because of a prophecy made shortly before his birth. Voldemort knew the prophecy had been made, though he did not know its full contents. He set out to kill Harry, when Harry was still a baby, believing he was fulfilling the terms of the prophecy. Voldemort discovered, to his cost, that he was mistaken, when the curse intended to kill Harry backfired. And so, since his return to his body, and particularly since Harry's extraordinary escape from him last year, he has been determined to hear that prophecy in its entirety. This is the weapon he has been seeking so assiduously since his return: the knowledge of how to destroy Harry."

Dumbledore stood up as he finished, then hold his wand up and sent a red spark towards the sky.

Chris barely noticed this as she was processing the thing she've to tell Harry. A prophecy, only a prophecy made this entire thing, Harry was connected to Voldemort by a prophecy. But what about her? Was there another prophecy, which talks about the connection between Malgino, the keys and her.

Dumbledore sent another green spark and sat down.

"And what about me?" Chris asked before she could stop herself.

"That is we're after, I've some guesses about the thing, which connects you to the keys and Malgino, but I want to be sure, before I tell you." Dumbledore said. There was another few moments of silence before Dumbledore spoke again, "Christina, why do you think Malgino is more dangerous than Voldemort?"

"Because..." Chris tried to pull herself together before answering the question, and then she remembered Mad-Eye's words. "... because we don't know much about Malgino. He's an unknown enemy."

"Correct." Dumbledore said quietly. "But to understand him, we should, first, learn about the great Hogwarts founders. So that we can understand the importance of the keys and about Malgino's long life."

Chris nodded.

"I'll inform you about these things very clearly when we'll be in school. Right now, keep an eye on Harry's behaviour. Any sign of Voldemort inside him, can be a big threat to the others "around him." Dumbledore got up. "And I've the actual Prophecy, I can show that to you or Harry anytime but don't tell Harry about this now. We don't want Voldemort to take advantage of it. Good evening Christina."

And he walked downstairs, leaving Chris with her thousand thoughts.
