Before Paxton and Shaun’s wedding, I cornered Markus about what he said to Matthew.

/"I don’t see the problem./" Markus acted like what he said wasn’t a big deal.

/"You don’t bring up someone’s ex who had died during a wedding. What’s wrong with you?/"

/"We talked about you, and I mentioned it. What’s the issue?/"

/"Sometimes, you let your mouth overrun you./"

/"Do you two mind? I’d like to marry but can’t because you’re arguing about the past,/" Paxton told us.

/"Markus is a doody head,/" I said, walking away.

/"Did Nora call you a doody head?/" Paxton asked Markus.

/"It seems we traveled back to preschool,/" Markus said, walking over to our row.

Now, weddings are a happy occasion, but not when you’re arguing with someone else.

/"I don’t see your issue,/" Markus said.

/"You have a big ass mouth,/" I said.

The others gave us a strange look.
