Chapter 2 – A New Mission

"My name is Miyoshi Akira. I don't know about this master stuff, but I also do hope that we can be friend" Akira woke up from his surprised state and answer her back calmly. He wondered why did this young lady want to become a friend with an old man like him.

Before his thought can wander further, another notification voice can be heard.

[Using Weapon Gacha Ticket….. Summoning a weapon]

This time, there is no light like before. The weapon just appeared out of thin air while making an air explosion, sending air current to every direction. Making Akira's hair swaying.

The weapon resembles a golden sword with the edge of the steel blade colored white. The weapon looks as if it has 2 arms on which one of them was holding a shield. It floats in the air, with the tip facing the ground.

'I want to hold it!' That's what inside Akira's mind. And then the sword starts to move, flying toward him then lowered it's handle so he can grasp it. He grabs the handle of the sword and directs the tip of it to the sky. It reflects the sunlight, sending it to his eyes, making it hurts once more.

[A servant and a weapon have been summoned. Would you want to see their information?]

"Yes, Let me see it!" Then, in front of him appeared some sort of transparent screen with 'words' and 'numbers' in it (Author's note: Not 6 digits ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) )

-Rest: The sword will repair itself when it not used on battle

-Swords Dance: Dance while holding the weapon for 10 seconds to deal double damage for the rest of the battle (the effect can be stacked 3 times)

-Sacred Sword: The next attack will ignore the target's defense

-King's Shield: The shield moves in front of the sword to create a transparent shield near the user that protects from any attack, one time. When the enemy's body makes contact with the shield, their power will be halved for the rest of the battle (the effect can be stacked 3 times) (Can only be used 10 times a day)

Akira touches his own face and he felt that his face was smooth, there were no wrinkles.

"System, do you sell a mirror?" Akira is really curious. He needs a definite proof.

"Alright" Akira didn't know if it cheap or expensive, but he bought it anyway to get rid of his curiosity

A wall mirror appeared out of thin air fallen to the ground. Akira picks it off and sees his own reflection. Even though he can't see clearly, he knows that he looks young.

Why can't he see clearly you ask? Because the mirror is cracked.

"Master~ Master~ who did you talked to?" When he still focused on seeing his reflection in the mirror, unbeknownst to him that a certain blonde-haired girl was watching him talk to himself from the start to finish with a complicated expression. She started to feel worried about her new master, so she asks him to make sure that his brain was not damaged.

"This..." Akira, looking at her complicated expression, feel dumbfounded. He started to realize that he's been acting weird in front of her all this time. Then he starts to tell her about the system. Not only because he wants to keep his dignity as a sane man, but also because he felt that the girl is very trustworthy.

He didn't know that most servants tend to be very loyal to their masters. He just has an innate ability to judge people just from seeing them.

"So that's what happened, I'm just glad that you're alright, Master~" Abby didn't seem to care about the system at all. All she cares about is her master's well being. Even Akira feel touched when he heard what she said.

[Host, now that she already knows about my existence, do you want me to connect with her? She can't access the shop or get any reward from the mission that will be given later, but she can hear my voice. So, when you talk to me, she will not felt like she was left out]

"Can't I just communicate with you through my mind? You communicate with me through that too right? Like some sort of telepathy"

[No, but if you want telepathy you can buy it from the shop. Searching for telepathy ability...…. Found it! The price for the lowest telepathy (10 meters) was 20.000 system points. The higher one cost more than that, it's too high for the Host right now]

"Nevermind, you can connect with her" He didn't have any other choice. He didn't want to talk to only one friend when he was walking with two of them. Even worst, the two of those friends didn't know each other. It feels sad to be the one that left out.

Then a screen appeared in front of Abby. Before, she can't see the screen when it appeared in front of Akira. So it was reasonable for her to be startled and slapped the screen with her bear. It goes through, of course. She then calmed down when she feels that the screen didn't wasn't a threat for her and her master. Then, she remembered about the system that her master told her. She feels embarrassed and put her teddy bear in front of her head to hide from her master's gaze

Akira just stood there watching this scene while smiling.

There are words on the screen. It asked her a question 'Do you want to connect to the system?'

Her head came out from behind the teddy bear and see that Akira smiles at her while nodding.

"Yes!" Abby said, answering to the system's question.

[Approval confirmed! Begin connecting..... 100% Completed]

After Abby was connected to the system, Akira showed Abby her information screen. She also wants to see his information, he agreed and show it to her. She was shocked to know that her master was younger than her.

"Forget it, I saw the word (forever) beside mine and her age, what does it mean?" Akira asked the system, he felt confused, not only he became 15 years old, but there is also the word (forever) beside it.

[It's meant that the Host and Abby will forever be 15 and 16 years old respectively. Pretty much an immortal. You can't die because of old age. For Abby, it's normal because she's a servant. But for you, it was god's blessing because you're going to be transferring from one world to another and many anime or novel have a main character in the first year of high school. If it combined with Abby, people will start thinking that they were brother and sister with him being the big brother and Abby being the little sister because her height is lower than his, just a little bit above his shoulder. Little that they know that Abby is older than him systematically by one year.
