Chapter 26  Feigning Illness

Happiness was about to pick up her pen to write, but Ben took the notebook and typed a few words, then turned off the power. He turned to Happiness with a smile and said, "It's time, Happiness, you should go to sleep."

Everyone knew Happiness's daily routine. It was already past 10:05, and although she wanted to talk to baymax for a little longer, she couldn't even complete the first day of her planned schedule. So Happiness sighed, got out of bed, and went to wash her face. She was afraid that this world's notebook would emit radiation!

Ben unbuttoned his shirt and hugged Happiness as he lay down in bed. This thick mattress was uncomfortable for Ben, not to mention now, even in the freezing cold of December, he had never used such a thick blanket. But feeling the warm and soft little person in his arms, even if it became several times hotter, Ben would still gladly endure it.

Eliot had already started assembling parts to make a heater himself. Since the beasts didn't need it, this thing couldn't be bought ready-made.

Happiness leaned against Ben's chest and fell asleep in no time. At this time, Andy called Ben out. Experts from the technology department assured the beasts not to panic, as the simulation results showed that Nibiru would not cause major natural disasters, but it would only cause the beasts (including the mech beasts) to revert to their original forms.

The host of the Python Tribe faced the camera and said, "How long will we maintain our original forms? Will this small Nibiru have any additional profound impact on the ancient species? Let the spokesperson from the technology department, Professor Arwystli of the Canine Tribe, continue to answer for us."

Professor Arwystli said, "The results of the complete simulation show that we will only maintain our beast forms for a maximum of one week. Fundamentally, it will not drag our economy and society into a quagmire. As for the ancient species, we have also conducted simulations..." Arwystli spread his hands, "Unfortunately, Nibiru cannot make those cold and dirty ancient species produce more energy crystals. At this moment, Eliot's phone rang. It was Alexander calling. Because the construction in the fifth district must be halted during the period when Nibiru has an impact, the three chief beasts had already set off and rushed to the second district overnight. Fortunately, they would be with Happiness during the beast period.

After hanging up the phone, Eliot turned his attention back to the TV. The host and the professor were still talking. Lionel sneered, "The change will happen tomorrow morning. They only notified us so late. Clearly, it's a mistake on the part of the technology department."

"I hope they have enough cooked food, Happiness still needs to eat," Lus said, frowning. After transforming back to their original form, of course, they can eat raw meat, but Happiness has such a weak body, I don't know if they can handle eating raw meat."

When she saw the heater, she exclaimed and jumped out of bed to stand beside the machine. Squinting her eyes, she leaned in close to feel the warm air blowing from the vent. Soon, the surrounding environment became warm.

After hesitating for a while, Eliot decided to inform Happiness of what might happen tonight, so she could be mentally prepared.

"Happiness, come here," Eliot sat down and held Happiness in his lap. Ben immediately turned towards the vent, aiming it at Happiness.

Happiness raised a delicate face, as fresh and tender as the dew in early spring. She looked at Eliot with a joyful smile, her long, soft black hair flowing behind her slender shoulders. So light, so small, she was clearly still a child. Why did she start menstruating so early? Eliot sighed and said to Happiness "Alexander will come later."

Happiness's eyes sparkled, excitedly saying, "That's great!"

"Tonight, Alexander, Damian, and Abyssyus may mate with you. I'll go prepare some food for you. Eat more so you'll have the energy to handle them," Eliot's eyes behind his glasses showed a hint of reluctance.

Crash! A huge stone fell on Happiness's head, and she rubbed her ears. Her face turned pale as she said, "Did I hear wrong, Eliot? Did you say mate, as in that?"

Eliot nodded solemnly, saying, "Yes, it means having physical contact with their organs, injecting their reproductive cells into your body, and causing fertilization and reproduction."

"Hold on, you... you just said they? You mean Alexander, Damian, and Abyssyus, all three of them?" Happiness trembled as she asked.

"Yes," Eliot confirmed. He didn't think the three beast leaders would allow one of them to have Happiness early, while the other two had to wait for another week.
