letter for his mother

As every night Noah was sleeping in the stable .when a shadow appeared in the yard, the big black shadow was moving quickly towards the stable without passing any trace, as it got closer and closer, severe pain appeared in Noah's bones and got intense as a warning!

The shadow pulled his sword out of its place and sneaked into the stable, Noah twisted in pain, opened his eyes with a groan. Widened his eyes as he saw a sword above his head, at first assumed its a beast which was about to kill him under Osbert's order but no! it was a human smell! the attacker was a human!

Noah struggled to hold back the sword with his eyesight, but he saw everything completely blurry! It was as if he had been poisoned! He could not believe that Cordelia had poisoned him to kill him, but maybe someone else was going to kill him. Noah turned and opened his mouth to beg for his survival.

As shadow was laughing, Noah noticed that it was a man! But who? Noah reached out his sword, The shadow was laughing arrogantly. As he was moving the blade toward Noah with ease in the air, Noah even lost his power to control the attacker's mind.he coughed as he threw up blood, the attacker got severe and lowered the sword toward Noah as he was wincing and trying his best to stand up on his feet!

Noah " who are you ?" he managed to ask as he was whimpering.

The shadow laughed again as he pinned Noah's head with his palm and lowered the sword even more! At this time someone hit the attacker on his head and rescued Noah, Noah coughed again opened his eyes to see who saved him, but had no energy and fainted right away.

It was Brayton, Laura's bastard son, who lived all his childhood secretly in the stable until someday he vanished with the maid who was responsible for breastfeeding him! he was 40 years old. He didn't know his father. But he loved to see his mother as he heard she was back from death so that night, Brayton was getting into the castle, as he noticed a sinister laugh from the stables. As he loved mysteries and adventure!decided to go onto the stables and learn what was in there!as he rescued Noah!

Brayton had the strength of Robert and the wisdom of his mother. He had leafy arms, a thick chest, a kind and pure heart. He had forgiven his mother for abandoning him a long time ago! But as long as his nanny was alive. she would not allow him to return to the palace as a labourer, so to respect to her, Brayton never saw his mother. But now that his nanny had died and his mother had returned from death. He decided to give it a try to his chance and see his mother.

Brayton removed the cloth from the attacker's face; he did not know him. Of course, he did not know anyone in the palace. But he was sure that this person was not a villager, because he knew almost all the villagers well and had grown up with them.

He lifted Noah on his hands and led him out into the stable, under the trembling light of the moon, where they usually stay away from the royal guards, where he stood as a child and watched his mother a long time ago!

Brayton put his finger in Noah's throat. as he put his other hand on the boy's chest, nothing happened at first, but after three or four pressures on Noah's chest, he started coughing and threw up blood and water until the poison came out of the boy's body. ،

Noah opened his eyes with a moan gasped for air, Brayton laid the boy on the ground.

Noah " who are you? why did you want to kill me?"

Brayton laughed hard smirked " If I wanted to kill you, you would die!what is wrong with you, boy? A servant cant have so many enemies! especially an enemy with a royal sigil on his cloak!"

Noah was still managing to breath"I don't know! all I know is I'm not a servant!"

He gasped for air.

Noah " who are you ?"

Brayton raised an eyebrow" Laura's son."

Noah let out a loud sigh" Oh no! all her children are bastards!and jerks!"

as he saw Brayton's glare coughed in embarrassment "sorry maybe you are not."

Brayton shrugged " actually I'm her ..." he paused looked around himself to make sure no one was listening.

Brayton whispered in lower tone " I'm Brayton, her bastard with Robert!"

Noah assumed he is joking, stared at him with a mockery expression on his face, suddenly started to laugh, Brayton sighed.

Brayton " you are wired!"

Noah nodded with a slight smirk on his face.

Noah " I'm not the only wired one on this castle!" he protested.suddenky got severe and looked around himself once again.

Noah " you didn't notice who was the attacker?" asked in confusion.

Brayton shook his head", but I left him on hays lets go see him maybe you know him.

Noah nodded as Brayton was helping him to stand up on his feet and walk towards the stables,

as Noah looked over the attacker's body he recognized who he was! Widened his eyes in surprise couldn't believe this! Stepped closer sat above his head to check if he is alive.

Brayton " is he alive."

Noah nodded in silence, took a deep breath in shock.

Noah " I should involve the queen."

Brayton nodded as he was turning to walk out.

Brayton " yes, I want to see my mother."

Noah rubbed back of his head didn't know how to let him know the fact that Laura is not the queen, and she left the court a few weeks ago!

Noah " I'm afraid your mother is not queen! she left to the south."

He thought the best way of telling him the truth is telling him fast.

Brayton furrowed his brows in despair looked disappointed.

Brayton " are you sure?no, it was my last chance to see her."

Noah nodded "actually I was the one who offered this to queen Cordelia" he raised an eyebrow proudly.

Brayton " since when advisors are sleeping in the stable?"

Noah shrugged " since a spoiled child is about to be queen" he chuckled tapped on Brayton's back.

Noah " wait til the sun starts to rise, then we can see the queen and tell her about this man."

Brayton nodded and followed Noah onto the castle's hallway to wait for the princess in the waiting hall. As the sun started to rise, Noah sent a maid to get Cordelia to join them.

A few minutes later, Cordelia stepped onto the waiting hall with a long black gown and a tiny silver crown in her golden hair, She had a proud smile on her face as she approached them with dignity.

Cordelia " Noha? Do you know you can't be sent for a princess that way? you have to tell my advisors whatever you want to inform me."

She raised an eyebrow when she saw a handsome, man with long black hair and sharp jawline apparently he was from heaven, which can be this beautiful and manly!even his way of standing was so hot that made Cordelia tremble in excitement. Noah notices that the princess was staring at the man for a long time, so he coughed to gather her attention.

Noah " would you listen to me before staring weirdly to a stranger?"

He protested with a slight frown on his forehead. Cordelia's cheek became red in embarrassment and looked down before pulling herself together.

Cordelia " what do you want?"

Noah smirked " princess! Brishen was about to kill me last night!"

Cordelia and Brayton shouted " Brishen!?"

Noah nodded innocently " Yes, he poisoned me to stop my magic power then wanted to kill me, but this man rescued me on time."

Cordelia furrowed her brows angrily as she tightened her fist.

Cordelia " where is he now? who dared to touch you before you teach us magic!"

Noah widened his eyes" you are saying it was OK to kill me if you have finished your job with me?"

Cordelia shrugged " I'm not my grandmother! get him here " she commanded at Brayton as she thought he was one of the guards.

Brayton nodded in respect and walked out, Noah coughed.

Noah " he wasn't a guard!"

Cordelia frowned " Who was he?"

And Noah told her the whole story as Cordelia was listening carefully.

Noah "What do you want to do with him?"

Cordelia shrugged " I don't know, he can go to the south to find his mother."

Noah nodded "I'm talking about Brishen."

Cordelia sighed looked into his eyes, confused.

Cordelia " Laura wanted me to marry him, my father hates him, and now he is a murderer, but if I kill him, Laura will declare war."

Noah shook his head.

Noah " she wouldn't, she is a wise woman!she understands!"

Cordelia let out a sigh as Brayton was getting onto them as he was dragging Brishen who was still unconscious.

Cordelia " I should write to Laura, she must tell me what to do with her son, then You Noah take the letter to her"

Noah nodded, Brayton coughed to get their attention.

Brayton " would you let me take the letter?"

Cordelia gazed over at Noah as he was nodding in agreement, so Cordelia gave him a gentle smile.

Cordelia " sure if you want to."

She said as she commanded few guards to take Brishen to the dungeon.
