Claim the throne.

Hearing the sound of the king's scream, everyone looked up the stairs. The staggering king came down the stairs as he laid his palm on his head. Laura went to him with a smile and took the king's hand in front of the surprised eyes of the courtiers and helped him. The king was about to pull back his hand or shout at her, but he remained silent and did not open his mouth as he faced Laura's glare.

Laura whispered in his hear " If you want my sons to cut your tongue speak" he warned him with a low tone as she was whispering in his ear, he nodded and let her lead her down.

Arthur politely got closer to him and offered him to eat or drink something, Hamo concealed his pain and followed the king and Brishen to the dining room. Noah turned to follow them, but Laura stopped him with a move of her hand.

Laura " come here. I need you in my chamber."

Cordelia widened her eyes in surprise but didn't say a word and followed the king and her father to the dining room.

The deadly silence filled the dining hall.

It was the third time, which Brishen had met the man who had taken her mother from him. Ever since he was a child, every time a man approached his mother and pushed her farther and farther away from him, Brishen wanted to take the man's heart out of his chest and throw it at the dogs.

Maybe it's ridiculous for a man like him to be jealous of her mother's husband, but its something he can't tolerate! He was only four years old when his mother married Arthur's father, and he could not convince himself that his mother could easily separate from his father only to fit herself in another man who might give her a daughter!

Apart from this, Brishen observed that in addition to the two husbands that his mother made, after his father. Laura spent some nights with her priceless guard! She even has a bastard from him who used to live secretly in the stable of the court!

Due to these reasons, Brishen hated his mother, and at the same time, he was thirsty for her. With these thoughts, as he gave Hamoa death glare, frightened the king of the south.

Arthur laid his hand on him to calm him down, but Brishen pulled his hand away and coughed.

Brishen " I need to go " he stood up, but Cordelia shook her head.

Cordelia " please sit, I need to talk to all of you."

Everyone glanced at her waiting for her to speak; this is the first time which Cordelia dared to talk seriously despite her father's presence. However, she is in her 19, and she has to claim her throne as soon as possible before someone else took it!

Brishen sighed sat as she commanded and tried to ignore Hamo as he was eating hungrily.

Cordelia " I need you to take my grandmother with you by tomorrow" she commanded sternly made Arthur widen his eyes.

Arthur " but no one can make her do anything."

Cordelia smiled at her father politely managed to reply " She does as her husband and I say, she isn't the queen she thinks anymore! I am the queen and I decide for my subjects". However, she tried to be polite, seemed her father got offended and looked here and there to control himself not to say anything rude to his daughter in public.

Brishen furrowed his brows felt butterflies in his stomach, gasped for air, narrowed his eyes, He felt sweat coated his forehead,

Brishen " I thought its the best if she stays."

Cordelia cleared her throat and looked at him sarcastically, got up and took slow steps toward his chair, drank the glass of wine from the table and poured some wine for him, and caressed her uncle's head gently.

Cordelia " you don't want to gain the power you always wanted? as she leaves ill get the throne and marry you."

Arthur stood up, angrily " No! Cordelia! he is 46! you can't marry him!"

Cordelia made her father silence with a move of her hand, smirked.

Cordelia " I will, as I wish to, father," she said made them stand up with a spell raised her eyebrow proud of herself.

Cordelia " you may leave, I'm thirsty! and Hamo, if I see you or any of your wives tomorrow, I will refuse our alliance and cut your head."

Hamo frowned opened his mouth to say something, but Cordelia shut his mouth using another spell and sat at the table,

Brishen gazed over at her with dry mouth,

Brishen " You just kicked two kings out?"

Cordelia shrugged " My father isn't king anymore, and Hamo, well who cares about him."

She winked at him seductively, Brishen smiled at her and started to eat his food with his future wife and queen.

Hamo angrily burst in Laura's room, Noah he noticed the king's entry left the room. Laura got up and came forward with a mock embarrassment and checked the king's head.

Laura " I'm sorry for what happened earlier," she said with a seductive tone to calm him down and gave him a box.

Hamo took the box surprisingly and opened it hesitantly; Laura gazed into his eyes helped him to open the package as soon as possible. It's an ancient ring in it.

Hamo widened his eyes in excitement and surprise.

Hamo "it's my uncle's ring."

Laura nodded "Of course it belongs to my first husband, you were a child when he gave this to me, and here you are, a handsome man who doesn't tolerate women" she smirked helped him wear it.

Laura " he hated women as well, did anything to put his ..." she paused before adding " our son on the throne, but I couldn't do it."

Hamo chuckled " you hate men."

Laura smirked, " I don't hate them, just I can't trust them."

Hamo bit his lower lip sat on the bed, letting out a loud sigh.

Hamo, " Your grandchild, want us to leave."

For a moment, Laura did not notice what was he talking about, then gently shook her head at Hamo and looked at the ground, not believing that Cordelia could get him out of her own palace!

Grabbed her robe and burst out angrily, Hamo stood up and ran after her to not let her argue with Cordelia. Still, queen already wore her cloak and entered the dining room, Cordelia stood up immediately, trying hard to conceal her fear.

Laura grabbed the girl from the throat lift her up glared onto her eyes,

Brishen stood up to rescue Cordelia, but Laura dared anyone to took a step closer!.so he froze in his place and held his breath.

Laura, " you kid, think you can rule without me!" she snapped angrily.

Cordelia shook her head, grabbed Laura's hand to let herself free, but she was too strong, Cordelia was kicking the air with her, begging her to listen to her! So Laura hit Cordelia on the table and pulled out her sword.

Cordelia coughed she put her hands forward in a sign of surrender; tears flowed from her eyes because of the pain in her throat, Hannah, who had entered the dining hall upon hearing the sounds, took Laura's arm and pulled the sword out of her hands.

Laura " You took me back here to this shit! you made Robert die in front of my eyes for the bloody second tome! and now you are kicking me out!" she shouted at her angrily, Cordelia have never seen her this much scary!

Cordelia " I need you, I love you just people think you are the queen! I need to show them I'm the one who they should obey!"

Laura pulled her sword out of Hannah's hand and attacked Cordelia, but Hannah and Hamo grabbed her arms again, "Is it my fault you burned their relatives ?!" she snapped.

Cordelia was crying in shame and arrow her father for in ran toward her, embarrassed her in his arms.

Arthur " Mother, please! she is a child!"

Laura " she is not a child! I became queen when I was nine! what is she ? a spoiled girl who can't respect people who are helping her!?"

Laura pushed Hanna away gasped for air.

"I'm leaving tonight! And if you need me... just don't count on me, she glared at Nirvana who was tide up the table.

Laura " Nirvana! pack my stuff " she commanded stormed off the dining hall. Cordelia cried in her father's arms.

Cordelia " I just wanted to be independent! she is wrong!"

Arthur wiped her tear kissed her forehead, Hanna and Hamo followed Laura out.

When Laura was getting into her chamber to wear a new gown, Hanna got in without knocking.

Laura " you don't knock anymore?"

Hanna smirked get the gown away from Laura with a slight smirk on her face, Laura gazed at her smirked surprisingly.

Hanna " Remind me not to make you angry" she giggled helped her wear the gown, as she was studying her body shape, Laura chucked still feels offended by Cordelia.

Hanna stroked her hair "it's not that bad; actually, we will have the whole south to rule."

She paused as Laura gazed at her in shock, couldn't believe what Hanna is saying,

she got even more surprised when Hanna added

"Together!"
