People can teleport themselves into this world known as Arcane Arts Arena to train in the long-lost Arts known as Magic, which was previously only thought to exist in fantasies.
But the mortal beings living in this plane of existence soon realized that the gift wasn't exactly a 'gift'.
Gods needed mortal beings to partake in their war against the Demons.
They needed soldiers, not more worshippers.
Their gift was a debt.
