Dozens of players arrived at the city with each passing minute, from this one could see how fierce the competition was.
"Spada, I got the seeds you needed and all the money" Agil sent Adam a message as soon as he arrived.
"Alright, I'm at the bank in the center of the city" Adam replied. Currently he was trading a few items he had crafted like basic potions and whetstones with the players that came to the bank.
"I'll be there quickly" Agil replied and rushed out of the teleportation hall.
After a while, Agil arrived at the bank and they started their transaction.
Adam received three thousand seeds and 12 gold coins, for a total of 20.
"So many seeds? But the herbs are so expensive" Adam said, if one wanted to buy herbs with the same amount of money, one wouldn't even get a thousand herbs.
"Yes, you see... seeds are acually very cheap but one needs land to plant them. The profit one can obtain from it is not that high so npcs don't really care that much about them, I guess that with players it'll be the same" Agil said and asked "Why would you require that many?"
"That's a secret, I'll tell you accept to join my future organization" Adam said with a smile.
"Do you plan on creating a guild?" Agil asked with a puzzled expression.
He had been sure that the guy in front of him belonged to a powerful guild. How else could he obtain so much equipment and coins?
"Yes, actually I plan on creating something like a lifestyle and trade organization. What do you think" Adam said, he had no interest in the common guilds that focused on battling against each other.
Agil started thinking. He also had no backing, creating his own guild was out of the question, joining a large guild wouldn't be as good, it would be quite hard to hold a high ranking profession.
"What are your conditions?" He asked, he wouldn't sign a contract that restricted him too much.
"I'll give you the Vice Guild Master position, you'll also own 10% of the shares if you accept, with the possibility to increase you shares depending on your performance.
I'm only offering this because your class can be one of the pilar to this organization" Adam said with a smile that he had been practicing constantly.
He didn't made the offer because of Agil's special merchant class but because he was the first and only person that Adam interacted constanly with, however he didn't know how to express himself better.
"Hmm but why would you need so many seeds, yoy couldn't have obtained land yet, no one has become a major noble yet" Agil said with a puzzled expression.
But Adam just looked at him without a change of his expression.
Agil sighed and said "Alright, I accept" He had obtained a hidden class very early in the game but with no backing it would take a long time before it shinned, joining a large guild was not very wise either, but joining a promising new guild could result in high profits.
There were a few powerful guilds that had average players in their upper echelon, this was because said players had been on the guild since their early days.
This players gained the envy of many players including top experts that had to listen to them.
"Here is the contract, you'll naturally have to keep the secret" Adam made the contract with the Main God System.
"Alright" Agil said after reading and signing the contract.
"Good" Adam said happily, now he could just let Agil take care of making money while he obtained rare items in the game.
"Then look at this" Adam said and fulfilled his side of the deal, sending him the information about the Eden Pocket Dimension, or Eden Garden as he calleed it.
Agil saw the item and his jaw almlst hitted the ground.
"N-no wonder..." He said with a pale expression, he knew how profitable this kind of item would become.
"So, what do you think?" Adam said.
"How did you obtain such a treasure?" Agil asked slightly agitated.
"A dragon gifted it to me" Adan replied honestly but Agil could only sigh at such a ridiculous excuse.
"I'll go to the merchant association first, later I'll find a way to inflate the herbs prices, the seeds price wouldn't really increase and that would increase the profits" Agil said.
Adam nodded happily at the idea and added "You should pick up quests that requires to you sell herbs that we can obtain the seeds for".
"Alrigh" Agil agreed with a smile as he left the bank. He was feeling elated, this was be the best decision that he ever made in his life so far. With such a treasure, any kind of organization would raise to the top, he also felt grateful.
Adam could just use the item himself and even as a solo player he would earn mountains of gold but instead gave him such an offer, he started thinking that 10% of the shares was actually very high.
After Agil left, Adam started planting the seeds, he didn't have to do it by hand but using the item he saw the space inside the pocket dimension from above and decided where to plant them.
The area ocupied by the seeds was just too small compared to the total area, just about 55*55 meters as all basic seeds only used a square meter.
Adam could even see the time it'll take for the herbs to grow, when he saw the 100% survival rate he started laughing.
He didn't modify it, it would impossible for him to affect the rate of 3,000 herbs.
But he was still grateful to the Main God System, if the survival of the herbs depended on the enviroment or the nutrients they received instead of something like 'survival rate', there was little he could do in the future.
He made some quick maths about the herb prices and his eyes glittered like those of a greedy dragon.
A stack of 20 Pia Dream Herb had a price of two silvers in the market, while 20 seeds had a price of just 40 coppers.
That would give him a profit of 1 Silver 60 Coppers.
If he could plant the whole Eden with them and later sell them at that price... he would easily make 20,000 Gold Coins!
However he understood it was a foolish idea, if such an amount of the same herbs appeared on the market, their prices would drop inmediatly.
But this was enough for him to see how profitable the item was.
Furthermore, just selling the raw material was not the most profitable thing to do. He would obtain even more profit by crafting potions that would report even higher profits.
The only thing he needed was a large amount of alchemists and good merchants to maximize profits.
Guilds would be picky when recruiting alchemists as to not waste resources or rare herbs, but he could just skip that.
With the resources he could provide, even an alchemist with no talent would archieve great things with hard work alone.
'It'll take three hours for the herbs to grow, I better buy the seeds that I need to complete the quests now' Adam visited npc shop that sold herbs.
After he planted them, he was just lazing around, he didn't need to go out or kill monsters actually.
He could just kill to farm items that were overpriced or that players weren't willing to sell like strong equipment, recipes, designs or tools.
He could just stay on the city now and level up crafting items and completing the delivery-type quests.
'I'll need some city reputation before buying land, those spots at the center are obviously better so I better hurry up' He needed to become a mayor noble to buy the lands.
There were many ways to obtain city reputation, but most of them were ignored due to the low amount of points they offered.
The best known ways were to complete high difficulty quests, obtaining first clears in dungeons or completing a dungeon in Hell Mode.
Other ways included hunting traitors or killing evil aligned npcs.
However the npcs were at least level 30.
Easy quests like killing common monsters gave little reputation and required to kill a very high amount of them. The same applied to obtain materials and herbs.
Adam didn't really care about city reputation but it would be necessary to buy the land. He would rather focus on increasing his reputation with the adventurer association.
Even if he traveled to other empire or kingdom, his status as an adventurer would still have effect in those other places.
At some point, Agil contacted him again and gave him two thousand seeds to grow for his quest.
Adam planted them inmediatly.
A few hours later, he received the notification of some herbs reaching maturity but he ignored it.
He let the herbs die and spread some seeds.
Each herb died but gave out three to four seeds.
His 3,000 herbs would be more than 9,000 in a few hours.
This 9,000 would then transforn in more than 27,000 and so on.
The grow speed of this basic herbs was very fast, even more so inside the Eden Garden.
He didn't want to just sit and wait, he decided to learn enchanting at the time.
Enchanting was actually a bit complicated at first but he quickly got it.
A success rate of 35%, it wasn't bad at all, just that the runestones he could craft gave a very little increase in attributes, with the current weapons it wouldn't be much worth for them.
Only experts would appreciate such a small increase.
After a hundred crafting attemps, he managed to craft 23 runestones. He didn't take a loss with the materials but was still displeased.
As a result he started altering the rates until he got tired.
As the day was ending, he decided went outside the crafting room and gave Agil the herbs he needed while keeping 1% of them to nurture more.
He did the same with his own herbs, he didn't have to harvest by hand, he just selected an area and all herbs there would be harvested quickly.
He also gave Agil a hundred runestones to sell. Then he made a stop at the Auction House and put a thousand runestones at sale, each at a price of 60 coppers, taking the auction fee into account, he would receive 30% in profits.

Adventurer Association.
Adam was completing and taking quests over and over again, leaving the players around stunned at the sheer amount of herbs he had.
The players in the room couldn't help but feel envious, only a player that received the full support of a large guild could have so many herbs.
But what kind of guild would give a single player so much support? One must know that large guilds had tens of thousands of players to take care of.
Adam didn't care for the other's gazes and continued with an irritated expression.
System: Deliver Pia Dream Herb quest completed.
Reward: Adventure Association's reputation +1, 10 copper coins, experience +400.
A player couldn't really be considered a member until reaching 500 reputation points.
An official member wouldn't be limited to just basic quests but would have access to more difficult quests that naturally had higher rewards.
At this rate, he had to complete 390 quests before reaching 500 rep. points, this made him very irritate.
Luckily there was some advances quests that gave better rewards.
After more than an hour, he finally reached 500 reputation points and received a few system notifications.

Adam didn't expect so many notifications... reading the last notification he agreed, even the most powerful guilds did their best to get this kind of publicity.

System Black Dragon Empire Announcement:
