Chapter -14

I rubbed my eyes sitting at the study table in my new room. Uh, umm.... the word room was used lightly. It was a let's just say suite. The biggest, most luxurious suite in the world. The king and queen, my biological mother and father, wanted to meet me as soon as I stepped in the castle. In fact they were waiting for me at the door. But me... being in no mood for more drama... politely took my leave and promised to meet them afterwards.

Right now? I am feeling.... numb. Just numb. I mean how am I even supposed to react to all of this? Feel angry, elated, surprised? I don't know....

Bella... How is she? I let her image swirl through my head. I missed her. No matter, how much I tried to ignore it... she always roams in my subconsciousness. She is the woman of my dreams. The carrier of my heart.

The only thing I don't know is how to express it? How should I tell it to her? I don't. She doesn't love me. But I'm not going to embarrass myself. I going to keep trying to win her over without expressing my emotions. Basically be myself. I don't find that difficult, I shouldn't at least.

"Your majesty," I swiveled around startled. As you guys must have noticed I'm a little jumpy. I looked around for a second before I registered the fact that he was talking to me. It takes some getting-used-to with the title. I looked back at him then nodded. A sign for him to go on.

"The king and queen require audience." The guard said.

I don't know what happened but I exploded with rage that my parents couldn't even come themselves and shouted, " Well, then tell them to FUCK OFF!!"

The guard looked at me in confusion.

"Why don't you tell them yourself?" Came a soft voice from the door.

I turned to find my mom (or my birth mom. Jeez, it does feel weird thinking about her like my mom!!) at the door.

"Just leave your majesty... I am not in the mood right now." I said with exasperation. I thought I saw hurt in her eyes when I didn't call her mom. But she deserved it. She didn't feel hurt at all leaving me at the orphanage. Well, then she fucking shouldn't feel hurt now. Also, not to mention but she left me at the claendalians!! Really! The worst enemy!! Argh! Hmph! She is going to receive her medicine now. No matter how bitter it is. Dad, huh (rolling my eyes). Congratulations daddy!! Whatever you must have wanted must have happened. Something much more important than your OWN FLESH AND BLOOD. YOUR OWN HEIR!!!
