Chapter 19: True Potential

GR33N: Ali won't be coming back to this arena, especially without his full power. Though he might go after the 2 other tournaments now that he's forced me to end the tournament early. I have to contact B14CK and WH1TE to protect their treasure.

Back in the Soul Field, Gabriel sits down meditating, trying to feel his soul in his body. Kira walks up behind him and slaps the back of his head.

Gabriel: Hey! What was that for?!

Kira: You gotta be able to do it in the middle of battle. You're not gonna be able to sit down and meditate during a fight. Try against me.

Gabriel gets his butt kicked over and over again by Kira. Soon night falls and the two go to rest.

Gabriel: Kira, can I ask you a question?

Kira: Yeah what is it?

Gabriel: How did you meet Ali?

Kira: It was a few years ago, when I was still living in Mascow, my home was destroyed by someone who had awakened their soul manipulation ability. My family was killed and I left with Ali to go find the man who took my life away.

Gabriel: Oh, I wish I could head back home. My mom must be so worried right now.

Kira: I hope you'll see her soon.

The two fall asleep and soon wake up in the morning.

Kira: Ready to continue your training?

Gabriel: Yeah!

The two go back and forth, Gabriel concentrating on using his powers without a gun. Before he knew it, he hits Kira's soul out of her body.

Gabriel: I did it!

Kira: There you go. Now you don't need to use a gun. So, how do I get back to my body?

Gabriel: Oh, sorry.

He takes her back to her body and do a couple more hours of training before going to talk with Ali.

Ali: Okay first order of business is getting my power back. My power is to rewrite reality but right now it's incredibly weak. I can barely rewrite people's thoughts patterns like I did to you, Aodh, and Mellan. The tournaments are using my power to grant the winner any wish they can imagine.

Gabriel: Tournaments?

Ali: There are 3 Guns Blazing Tournaments. 2 more associates are at the other tournaments. Kira, I want you to head to Basco's tournament and Gabriel to the other tournament.

Gabriel: Where are we going?

Ali: Come here.

He touches Gabriel's forehead and uses his ability on him.

Ali: In about 20 seconds you'll wake up in front of the arena. You'll be tired because you walked all the way there but at least it'll feel like no time at all.
