Looking for trouble
Village Head Gu was simply speechless. What kind of mess was this? What did he mean by telling her that if they didn't give their village a decent explanation the matter would not end?
Could someone at least tell her what was actually going on? Maybe she needed to talk thoroughly with the villagers, it was fine if they wanted to make trouble but they should at least tell her!
She was always thrown off the loop because she was the last one to find out what was going on and yet as Village Head Gu was the head of the village, she was pushed into the frontline without even grasping the situation.
Sometimes she felt like an innocent soldier who was in charge of chopping and cooking meals for her colleagues but was suddenly pulled out of the kitchen and thrown to the front of the battlefield with nothing but a sword!
This was simply too much!
