Strange Feeling

Reflexively, Alex vomited back the meatball he had just put in his mouth when Jessica said something that pierced his senses.

"Oh, Alex, be careful with what you eat, let's drink first!" cried Jessica while giving Alex orange ice.

Quickly, the man took a sip of his orange juice then glared at Jessica.

"What did you just say?" asked Alex full of questions.

"Be careful when you eat!" Jessica repeated her words.

"Not that one! The previous one!"

Jessica took a sip of her iced tea then looked straight into Alex's eyes.

"Let's kiss!" said Jessica.

"Hah?" Alex shouted in disbelief.

It turned out that his ears had not heard wrong. Jessica did say that.

But, is Jessica out of her mind?

"Don't get me wrong! Let me explain!" said Jessica for fear that Alex would think all kinds of things.

"Okay, I'm listening!"

Jessica took a deep breath before finally telling what happened to Alex. And Alex was silent because he was too confused. How to react?!

Why did Vera, as well as the rest of his family have such shallow thoughts?

Even though he's never had a girlfriend, that doesn't mean he's gay!

"I already told Vera to stop watching movies or dramas that can contaminate her little brain. It's crazy that I think I'm gay!" Alex chirped in the end.

Alex chuckled softly seeing Jessica's blushing face. Deep down he was also nervous.

"We can manipulate it! Ask the photographer to take a photo of us, then edit it so it's like kissing, what do you think?"

Once again Alex chuckled softly. He was laughing at himself because he had thought that Jessica was serious when she asked for a kiss.

"Why are you even laughing? How are you doing? Is my idea good? So instead of being accused of turning around, you better follow my advice and you'll be free from that accusation!"

"You don't have to worry about that! I'll talk to Vera later from the heart to heart!"

"No! You can't do that, Al! Later Vera will know when I tell you! Just watch out for that!"

Alex shook his head in disbelief when he saw the girl in front of him.

"Well, just arrange it! You don't have to use a photographer, it's complicated to know, it's embarrassing too!"

"So?"

"Let's take a photo using our cellphone! Just leave it to me, the important thing is to eat first! I'm hungry!"

"Whose apartment is this, Al?" asked Jessica, looking to the right and left in confusion.

Alex threw his jacket on the sofa and headed straight for the kitchen. He took some canned drinks from the sofa, then brought them back to Jessica.

Alex chuckled softly, then shook his head slowly.

"So that she can be close to William! Why do you think that spoiled person bothers to live in a share house when his brother's place is pretty good?!"

"You're right! Vera has a crush on William!"

Alex then took his cellphone and put it behind Jessica.

"Already prepared?" asked Alex slowly.

"Ready for what?"

"Fake a kiss!"

Jessica immediately widened her eyes and covered her mouth tightly with both hands.

"Why do you respond like that?" asked Alex confused.

Jessica then smiled and shook her head slowly.

"Okay, I'm ready. Now what? How do we pose to make it look like we're kissing?!"

Alex pulled Jessica's waist closer, he then ran his fingers through Jessica's strands of hair and tilted his face a little closer to the girl's face.

"Al, what do you want?!" cried Jessica in surprise.

"Let's just be more convincing! Calm down, I'm not going to kiss you!"

Hearing Alex's answer, Jessica's face immediately turned red. The girl immediately closed her eyes tightly as Alex got closer. She could feel his warm breath against her skin. The girl immediately held her breath from nervousness.

Jessica's heart was beating so fast that she couldn't control it, cold sweat dripped down her forehead and palms.

Seeing Jessica's reaction like that, made Alex smile faintly.

How could there be such an innocent girl?

"Jess," Alex called softly.

"Hmm?"

"Don't hold your breath, your face is red!"

With a strong breath, Jessica began to breathe again.

Alex who saw it immediately chuckled and walked away from the girl.

"Did you take the photo?"

"I didn't take photos!"

"Hah?" Jessica screamed in disbelief.

Without saying anything else, Alex took his cellphone and showed Jessica what was there.

Jessica shook her head in disbelief at the recording on Alex's cellphone.

"We only have to cut the beginning and the end!" Alex leaned on the sofa while watching Jessica who was still looking at her cellphone without blinking.

"Wow, there we look like we're kissing. I get goosebumps to see it." Jessica said it without daring to turn to Alex.

"You just show it to Vera and Lusi."

"Yeah. I'll show them later."

"Hey, your face is red! Are you not feeling well?" teased Alex.

Jessica immediately glanced at the man sharply. What girl wouldn't blush when she saw a video of her kissing? Even though they didn't do it, in the video it felt so real.

"It's weird that my face isn't red! You know this is the first time I've been so close to a man, right? That was close, you know!"

"Yeah..." Alex tried his best to hold back his laughter that was ready to explode at any moment.

"You're weird, don't you know Al, how come you just used to do things like that earlier?" said Jessica.

Alex smiled, then shook his head slowly.

"Oh yeah, forgot! You're a playboy, no wonder you just got used to it! Ouch, Vera is weird, isn't it?! Why is she saying you don't like girls?!"

Alex took a deep breath seeing Jessica who still considered him a playboy. But let the girl think anything of it. He just wanted to always be near Jessica.

"Just let Rey see this video, okay. I'm curious how he reacts."

"Even if he doesn't see it, Lusi will tell him about the video. You can judge for yourself how he will react!" said Alex while gently massaging his arm.

"What's wrong with your arm, Al? The feeling from earlier, you kept massaging your arm. At the meatball shop earlier too."

"It's not a big problem. It's just a little sore because this morning I helped a friend when his car broke down!"

"Why don't you just call the repair shop?"

"We have just pushed it's a waste of time if you have to wait for the repair shop!"
