When they got into the house, they saw a group of police officers coming down. Brian got the news he wanted from Julia after asking her. He became more confident since they got a group of well trained people and not just their old people anymore. He was still preparing himself to face the worse a few minutes ago. Now, he got other ideas.

The three old men and Brian are the old veterans who fought in World War Two during deadliest two years and survived. Brian was their captain at that time. The five friends enrolled into army together from the same village. However, only four came back two years later. They were very lucky to survive the toughest two years of defensive war against Aryan Empire and survived through that unscratched.

However, the war ended suddenly as Freemasonry made great contributions to United States. Peace came as various treaties were signed. And Aryan Empire compromised the United States. However, aftermath of the war was not that simple. Many soldiers were unlisted, many military supplies were sold and even planes were transformed into civilian use. The federation was desperate to raise money out of useless things to boost the badly battered economy again. They survived but they were also in the list of laid off. They were also tired and wanted to live their life well.

So, they took their meager pensions and accepted retirement notices without any regret. After some twists and turns, they finally came back to their hometown to restart the peaceful and simple farming life. Although they were not as crazy and paranoid as the old woman Julia, they still often practiced shooting in their free time. It really helped them in keeping their abilities in good shape and their vigilance awoke.

After parting with Julia this morning, they went back to their houses which were just near the house of Julia. They hurriedly took what they would need and regrouped.

However, this gang of old people were really brave and dared to take risks. So, instead of going straight to Julia to take refuge, they went around nearby streets with the two trucks. That was not foolish and meaningless. They just wanted to save some who were still alive and waiting for rescue.

After all, they knew with almost all the people in the town over the years. They couldn't bear it when they heard the sounds of gunshots and screams for help. So, the plan was temporarily changed to a rescue mission.

At that time, in front of a house two streets away, Rock was protecting his wife and five children well. Two of them are his and other three are their friends who came to play with his children. While his woman and children were in the house watching at the outside worryingly, he was on the front porch standing in front of the door and confronting against several inferno wolves. These wolves were obviously intelligent and waiting for chance on this uneasy man. Three dark minions were lying on his lawn as they were shot to death.
