The explaination

In an isolated dimension, Lliw was talking to the Golden woman. Well, They were actually conversing inside his mind. The golden women had slowed down time in his mind and was using her sub-conscious to talk to him. Their actual bodies were holding on to each other, sharing an intimate kiss.

Before the Dimension collapsed, she had pulled Lliw closer to herself and surrounded the both of them with her magic. She was then able to briefly pause time not just for herself, but for everyone else. During this brief window, She conversed with Lliw, explaining all the necessary things she could and also planted a magic imprint in his consciousness where she saved her soul power.

"erm, although i'm not complaining, why did we have to kiss?" He asked her avatar which floated beside his own consciousness. Her golden glow had diminished greatly. if her previous glow was like that of the sun, it was now akin to a fading matchstick in a bright sunny day. She had lost more than 99.9% of her power.

"I had no choice. That was an experimental spell that i just used. Luckily, it worked quite well or there would have been some seriously dire consequences" She said.

"So what exactly just happened?" He asked, not quite understanding the whole situation. He felt like he was watching a foreign drama.

"Let me start from the beginning. Bare in mind I don't have much time so I can only tell you the bare minimum." She said."So, please pay attention."

Seeing that he put on a focused expression, she smiled gently before telling him what she felt was important.

"You are in a what you earthlings call a [game], Though from what I've gathered, its different from your normal games.

We call this place the [Guardians sanctuary]. It is one of the only protected spaces where we, the guardians, can live without worry about attacks from the dark forces. We use this place as our base of operations.

We summon helpers from your world and train them to become guardians so they may help us to fight in the front lines against the dark forces.

About the specific running of the place, you can find out later on but just think of it as a game and you'll be fine. "

She said quickly, staying as clear as she could be. Although she was explaining everything with a cool face, Lliw could tell that she was actually quite worried.

"In order to be able to enter [Guardians Sanctuary] you need to bear a stamp of approval from one of the chief Guardians. I haven't gotten the chance to do that with you yet so i couldn't use the same method I used on your friend to save you. If i had just left you here as the space collapsed, you would have been obliterated along with it. " She said with a little helplessness, her glow was growing thinner by the 1/1,000,000,000,000,000th of a second. Although she had 'paused' time, she wasn't actually powerful enough to do that. She just slowed it down so much it seemed like it had stopped.

"As for why the space suddenly collapsed... Well, that's my fault. Guardians of my level aren't supposed to bring their actual bodies inside this space. We're just supposed to use a fraction of our souls because the space can't handle our power. However, In a moment of rash, I summoned my true body here and, well... there you have the results I guess." She said with a bit of sadness.

"Ok, lets quickly get you inducted." She said.

"Normally, you'd go through some trials which you must overcome before you can be initiated but we don't have time for that so I'll skip over all that. But you shouldn't be too happy. It only means that you'll skip out on the basics thus it'll be harder for you ,as compared to the others, in the beginning. But don't worry too much, you'll do fine." She explained before she summoning a small bowl with many motes of light inside it.

"This is the Blood Talent awakening ceremony. you just have to drop a little of your blood inside and you will receive the talent most suitable for you. Well, it depends on your luck really. " She said before using a tiny golden needle to prick his finger. A small drop of blood fell onto the bowl before the prick healed by itself. Although he had seen her using magic a lot within the tiny amount of time they spent together, it still felt surreal to him.

The drop of blood sunk in the bowl that resembled a the universe. They waited for a while but there was still no reaction.

"..."

" Isn't something supposed to be happening?" He asked feeling a bit awkward. However, she wasn't as worried as he was. This ceremony had never failed before. That was because it just activated the power that everyone held within. During her ceremony, She had gotten an instant reaction. Her blood didn't even touch the bowl before a blinding mote of light leaped out and entered her body. She had used that talent of hers to become the strongest guardian in history. All this meant was that Lliw's talent probably wasn't some amazing talent like hers but no talent was useless.

" ... " After what seemed like an eternity, a small rippled occurred in the small bowl. A weak mote of light flew slowly through the universe-like water and reluctantly entered Lliw's body. The light was so pale that they could barely make it out against the pitch-black darkness. The golden woman felt her heart break at the sight of this.

"I'm sorry to put such a heavy burden on you" She thought bitterly.

"What ability did you awaken?" She asked while, swallowing the guilt and disappointment she felt.

" ... "
