Chapter 9 - Samuel enters into the Forest

Samuel's door knocked by someone

"Knock Knock",

He as not waked up.. again

"Knock Knock",

He then woke up and opened the door, his mother calling him for dinner...

At first he irritated by the call, realized that he forgot to keep alarm in the morning as he has to wake up early in the morning. He went to the dining table to had his meal, while having it he said to his mother that, "Mom, tomorrow morning I am going to the Forest with the Exorcist to find out the reason behind Carter missing and I don't know when I would return back, please don't get bemuse if I would not return quick to home, but I promise you that I will return back to you as soon as possible",

"But the forest has a long history of who went into it and who never came back my son ", his mother said

"Yes mom I too heard this, but Carter is missing since 4 days, I can't keep quite as of Police do, I need to find a way to save him ", Samuel said

"Your life is important to me too dear ", his mother said

"Yes mom I know that, but I am promising you that I would be safe and that's why we are taking the most famous Exorcist with us", Samuel said

"Ok, wait for a while", she said and went to the prayer room right to the dining room picked a locket from there and returned to Samuel, laying it into his neck and said

"Keep this safe with you, don't ever try to take out this from your neck, it will save your life from any circumstances and no ghost would come reach you ",

"Ooh really ?, Ok mom, then I would not remove it from my neck ", Samuel said

While completing his dinner and going to his room, he paused for a second and turned back to this mother and asked her whether she had available with another one like this . . .

She doubtfully looked into his face and asked "why",

"For Carter Mom, if I am able to find him, will lay that into his neck, so that he would be saved from the ghost right ?", Samuel said

She replied, "No", as she was gifted by an Ascetic accidentally a few days back. She didn't understand why she was given to her on that day. She now come to a conclusion and understood that the situation has come to lay this locket to his son . .

He went into the room disappointedly thinking that if Carter was in dangerous position then I will lay this locket on his neck to save him and fell asleep.

He went into sleep but lot of disturbances as he had a very bad dream, that Carter dead body was bringing home everyone crying in a loud voice and he was carrying Carter's corpse on his shoulder and he woke up suddenly with full sweat filled his body, he looked back and forth and realized that it was a dream. He looked at watch wanted to know the time as he should wake up early, he stood stock by looking into the time as it was 04:30 am and remembered his mother's words that, it will come into realm when we dreamt on early morning and he worried a lot about his friend Carter . . .

Frightened, he stood up and gets ready to start his journey.

Now the time is 05:00 am . . . . .

Trying to get out from the house, so he opened the main door and he heard a voice from the back of him, "Are you ready to go?", his mother asked

he said "Yes mom"

"Yesterday I said so about that place, still you are going?", his mother asked by worrying

"Yes Mom, but he is my close friend and he is like my brother", Samuel said

He came nearer to his mother, gave her a hug and leaves from there saying "I promise you, I will be back very soon "

He started the bike and started his journey to the middle of the Forest. He arrived there at 05:25 am and waiting for his friend and the Exorcist to come.

Now the time is 05:35 am, he found something coming on his way and he realized that they were his friend and that man after reaching a certain distance.

Exorcist got down and asked for the places where he informed before. Samuel took him to the scene and he observed very carefully. He suddenly sat down under the Banyan tree where the Mobile phone caught and he was deeply concentrating his breath closed his eyes as if he was in meditation for a few minutes. The two did not understand what the exorcist was doing and observing his face standing behind to him.

He opens his eyes quickly as if he found some clue and looked into their faces strangely. He stood up calmly picking up all his items like he carried a bag on his shoulder on the left hand side and he grabbed one of the long sticks with his right hand which contains a small skull on the top of it as it was fixed to it.

After silence for a while Samuel asks him, "What happened Sir?, His whereabouts are known and did he alive?",

"Yes he is alive, the demon took him into the deep forest, we have to go inside and return back before the sun set ", the Exorcist said

"Are we safe when we go in? Doesn't that ghost do anything to us?", asks James

"Don't worry I will catch it, during the day its power would be low", says the exorcist

"If you are afraid to go inside you can go back home James ", says Samuel to James

He was deeply thinking whether he as to come inside or not and finally he decided to go inside with the two as Carter is a good friend of him too and he is very nice guy.

Then the exorcist tied a red rope to the two of them wrists and says, "don't try to remove this until we are safely returned back from the forest, as these are enchanted."

They began their journey into the deep forest through large trees, bushes and they placing there foots on the ground, while stepping out strange sounds are disturbing them as the leaves under there foots are dried and they feel like something is behind them chasing. The exorcist giving them hope that these are all the signs of the devil, please keep calm and follow me...

The three walked as much as long for 3 hours, Samuel and James were tired and asked "Still how much far we have to go ?, Yet how far can we go without knowing where he is?", asked James

"In fact me too don't know how far we have to go, I am searching for his whereabouts", the Exorcist said

"Shhh keep quite, let him do his work", says Samuel...
