"Why is this happening?"
"Why can't I get those images of Tang Yin out of my head?"
"Why can't I forget... his massive presence?"
Liu Erlong lay on her bed, troubled. After Yu Xiaogang left earlier, she had retreated to her room, hoping to calm herself. Yet, no matter how she tried, the scenes of Tang Yin from last night kept replaying, as though his overwhelming presence had burned itself into her memory.
Especially the moment when Tang Yin toyed with her in front of Yu Xiaogang—her soul had nearly shattered from the thrill. Now, she didn't know how to face Yu Xiaogang or what to think of Tang Yin, the one who had taken her first time.
Hate Tang Yin? She realized she couldn't; after all, it was she who had seduced him.
Love him? No, that wasn't possible. They'd only just met, and love was far from what she felt. It was simply the rush of being with someone as powerful as Tang Yin, experiencing wave after wave of pleasure that she couldn't forget.
Suddenly, she remembered an important detail. Why had her body heated up so intensely last night, her desires spiking, until she finally couldn't resist Tang Yin?
She recalled the odd look on Flender's face as he handed her a drink before she and Yu Xiaogang left together. Could it be that he'd drugged her, intending for her and Yu Xiaogang to end up together?
Realizing this, she felt stunned. But now... she'd already lost herself to Tang Yin.
After a long moment of thought, Liu Erlong quickly packed a few things, leaving a note as she quietly departed from Heaven Dou Imperial Academy to return to Lanba Academy. She needed time to process what had happened.
Meanwhile, Yu Xiaogang and Flender, unaware of Liu Erlong's departure, began their lectures for the students. Ah Yin, too, arrived at her office, reviewing her schedule, while Tang Yin, Zhu Zhuqing, and the others entered the classroom.
In one of the Academy's large lecture halls, Dai Mubai, Oscar, and others had arrived early, along with the seven members of the Heaven Dou Imperial Academy team. Their teacher had set the morning for lectures, the afternoon for sparring, and the evening for spirit power training.
When Tang Yin and his group entered, Dai Mubai glanced over, noticing Zhu Zhuqing walking beside Tang Yin. Anger flashed briefly in his eyes but was quickly suppressed.
Tang Yin merely glanced at Dai Mubai, unfazed, and took a seat. After listening to the class and gaining some new insights, the lesson ended, and it was already noon.
The afternoon was reserved for sparring against the Heaven Dou team. With his current strength, Tang Yin found the training unnecessary. Instead, he planned to leave the Academy and head into the city for a more suitable battle training ground: the Underground Spirit Arena.
Unlike conventional Spirit Arenas, the underground arena in Heaven Dou City was known for its bloodthirsty, violent matches against powerful fighters, often outlaws, seeking fierce challenges. Tang Yin believed that only in real battles could he quickly improve his skills.
But before going, he needed to bring someone with him.
Tang Yin's gaze fell on Zhu Zhuqing, who also looked back at him. He wanted to help her reach level 30 and use her as a reason to lead the Shrek group into the Sunset Forest to carry out his plan against Tang Hao.
With that in mind, he approached Zhu Zhuqing, ignoring Dai Mubai's hostile gaze. "I need to talk to you privately," he said, then turned and left without waiting for her response.
Zhu Zhuqing watched him walk away, a mix of curiosity and confusion on her face, but eventually followed. Dai Mubai, seeing this, clenched his fists in frustration, barely able to restrain himself.
In the hallway, Tang Yin waited until Zhu Zhuqing arrived, his eyes glinting as he said, "You're here."
Zhu Zhuqing nodded. "Is there something you wanted to talk about?"
Her voice was calm, matching her personality, though a touch softer when speaking to Tang Yin.
"You're close to reaching level 30, aren't you?"
Zhu Zhuqing nodded, expressing her gratitude, "Thanks to your guidance; otherwise, I wouldn't have progressed so fast."
"No need to thank me. We're classmates, after all. I know a bit about your background—the second daughter of the Zhu family of the Star Luo Empire, a girl with a predetermined fate. Sadly, your current strength is far too weak. At your current pace, even with Yu Xiaogang's training, you'd need at least ten more years to match your sister, let alone defeat your enemies alongside Dai Mubai."
He paused, his voice steady, "If you want to become stronger and reach level 30 by tomorrow, meet me at the school gate at six tonight. I'll take you to a place where you'll have a chance to advance. It's up to you. Think carefully."
With that, Tang Yin left Zhu Zhuqing standing in thought.
Watching him go, Zhu Zhuqing felt a mix of bewilderment and hesitation. But the desire to grow stronger had always burned within her.
"Is it really impossible for me to surpass them?" she murmured to herself as she returned to class.
She was improving, but so was her sister. And as Tang Yin had pointed out, at her current rate, even ten years wouldn't be enough to catch up to Zhu Zhuyun.
Tang Yin's words lingered in her mind.
