Outside of the Saint Remains Domain stood six titanic pillars. Each one was taken up by an Envoy from each Sect. Connecting each of these pillars was a giant was a large platform that allowed all of those participating to wait on.
Julong was standing with Yao Yao, Zhou Yuan, Lu Luo, and Zouqiu Quinyu in the middle of the platform. They were all looking at the Envoys. Quinyu was making small comments about each of them, such as how they had all made it to the Divine Dwelling Stage, or which pillar housed which Envoy.
Julong didn't particularly care about them. He would just follow where ever Zhou Yuan decided to go to make it easier for Yao Yao instead of having to choose who to go with. Despite having only known each other for a short time in person, the connection their spirits held was extremely compelling of their actions. Too compelling.
It was at that moment he noticed Zhou Yuan's head turn toward a figure in the distance. Wu Huang.
Just like before, they stared at each other with hatred.
All of a sudden Wu Huang launched a powerful attack toward Zhou Yuan.
Uproar rang throughout the area as the attack drew closer. The three beside Julong tried to interfere, but the Envoy from the Sacred Palace stepped in and pressured them with his own Genesis Qi. While it stopped them, it was only enough to be unnoticeable from the other Envoys, meaning it had no effect on Julong. He would have to try harder if he wanted to hold him down.
Knowing Zhou Yuan might sustain injury from the attack, which could hinder his progress in the Domain, Julong decided to step in.
He only put a single hand out, spawning a small version of the Heavenly Super Nova in his palm.
He could feel the pressure from the Envoy increasing. But there was no stopping the Technique now.
The Super Nova ruptured, pushing the attack back and making it explode.
"Wu Huang. You have no shame."
"Couldn't the same be said about Zhou Yuan, having you step in?"
"You are lucky that you are not my target, or I would kill you where you stand."
Before anything else could be said by Wu Huang, a domineering voice boomed.
"Enough!"
The voice was revealed to come from one of the 6 Envoys, specifically a middle-aged man, one who looked very familiar. It seemed as though Julong's assumption was correct, it was the man from the House of Geniuses the day prior.
"Oh, Mu Wuji, what is the issue?"
The other voice came from the Envoy who tried to help with the death of Zhou Yuan. Julong had concluded with the help of Quinyu that this was in fact the Envoy of the Sacred Palace.
"I have no intention of allowing people to die outside of the domain. That wouldn't be fair since these seedlings could be the future of the other 5 Sects. If you have an issue, we can just open the Domain now. It takes all of us to do so after all."
While his tone was domineering, it also came off as one of amusement towards the action taken prior.
"Hmph."
"Then let's open the Domain now."
Across from the 6 large pillars, there was a dome of what appeared to be fog. It was the fog that protected the Domain, one that would make people lose their way and become forever lost. That was why the Envoys had to open the Domain for the Geniuses below. It was because they were not strong enough to get in themselves.
Mu Wuji was the first to channel his Qi against the fog, an action quickly replicated by the rest of the Envoys. Soon a large gap in the fog became apparent.
"Everyone, enter now!"
Hundred of figures from the platform flew as fast a possible to reach the entrance to the Domain. It was like a stream of water.
Once inside what appeared to be the entrance, Julong was met with a force that threw him around like a blazing wind. He was rather shocked, but this also told him that the Domain they were going to was indeed in a completely different spatial realm. That explained why the fog made people eternally lost.
Such a thing was expected though since the area had been touched by a drop of Saint Blood, something incredibly potent and powerful. This was where the legendary Saint Cang Xuan had died after all.
Julong was eventually tossed into a material plane of existence, where he would have been sent spiralling into a forest had he not used his Genesis Qi to help him regain control and begin flying.
He slowly floated down to the ground and looked around, using his spirit. From what he could tell, the whole Domain was crafted from incredibly pure Genesis Qi. As expected from a drop of Saint Blood. Such a foundation would of course make everything this unbelievably pure.
Now it made sense why everyone wanted to get inside. Even if you didn't retrieve any treasures, the Genesis Qi inside of the Domain had the ability to increase ones' progress in Cultivation at an incredible rate. Just a wisp of Genesis Qi that made up everything inside of the domain would roughly equate to 2 or 3 hours of standard Cultivation. Even the Saint Domain that Zi Xiao resided in did not have such a grand effect, though that was probably because she had not died in there, leaving behind her incredibly powerful Genesis Qi.
The only downside was that to acquire this particular Genesis Qi, one would have to kill Genesis Beats or destroy life so that the Qi that made up the lifeform would be eligible for absorption. Even so, just the Qi in the air was more powerful than normal. Just being in the Domain had unrivaled benefits.
Summoning the Heavenly Saint Edge to his hand, Julong decided that this would be the perfect opportunity to restore some of it's original power.
"Let's get started then."
