36: The young Senior Master and The Young Master!

Three weeks have passed since the trials, and due to the heavy rain, I wasn't able to go back home. So, Mother and I have been staying in the capital for a while. Besides, with my academy's enrollment day coming soon, I just can't leave the capital!

Void was in his room, playing his piano. As he played, the whole mansion resonated with the enchanting melody. The people in the mansion were mesmerized, dancing gently to each key. "Looks like he's in the mood to play the piano today!" Maria said, sipping her tea.

"Master is quite bored. I guess being restricted from practice by the doctors and being unable to go back home is stressing him," Arcane said with a gentle smile and a calm tone.

"What, is my mansion so bad?" Vivienne asked Arcane, her tone a bit arrogant as usual while she took a sip of her tea.

"It's not that, Mistress. Master has a special attachment to his own piano, and there are books back home that he left incomplete," Arcane explained.

"Whatever, I'm just glad he's not angry about how I cast him away in the past," Vivienne said, stirring her tea with a spoon, her eyes showing a hint of sadness.

"Don't worry, my pride! He's aware of the truth now. Besides, who do you think he is? He never had an interest in you in the first place, you know. Hahaha!" Maria said, taking the last sip of her tea. At Maria's comment, Vivienne experienced a landslide of emotions. As the three were having a fun time, a sudden catastrophe charged in from Void's window.

"Brother Void!" Luna burst into Void's chamber. Before Void could react, she quickly hugged him tightly, making him fall from his chair. "Ahhh!!!" Void screamed. Without wasting a second, Maria, Arcane, and Vivienne entered his chamber.

"What happened? Void!" All three of them narrowed their eyes when they saw Void being hugged by Luna.

"Your Highness, isn't this your time for training? Why are you here?" Vivienne asked.

"Moreover, what the hell do you think you're doing, spoiled brat?" Maria demanded.

"Your Highness, have you lost your manners, charging into Master's room without permission like that? Please, stay away from him, or else I might commit a heinous crime!" Arcane warned, her hands ready to act on Void's command.

"No, I'm going to be trained by Void! He is stronger than others!" Luna insisted, clinging to Void.

"But your highness, I'm not allowed to train or fight. Hehe. So please go and train with Vivienne," Void said.

"But aren't you already in shape to fight? Your body is completely healed!" Luna said, showing Void his latest report.

"What? Let me see that!" Void said, taking the report from her.

"Vivienne, didn't I advise you to burn those files!" Maria said, her words barely above a whisper, her fist clenched.

"I did burn them, Mom, but I don't know how she got those files," Vivienne replied.

"Maybe she bought these files from the doctor. After all, the doctors were from the palace, weren't they?" Arcane suggested, and they all turned their heads to see Void's reaction.

"See, Your Highness, that's true, but I certainly don't have the strength to train. In this rainy weather, I avoid it. So if you want to play here, you can!" Void said, putting the files away.

"No, I want to have a duel with you. I want to see your strength!" Luna insisted.

"Alright, we will fight only once. If you lose, you'll go for training with Vivienne. Okay?" Void said, standing up.

They both went to the training ground, the heavy rain already soaking their clothes.

"This girl! Should I just kill her here? No one will know! Hehe!" Maria said, while all the servants tried to stop her.

"So, Brother Void, are you going to go all in?" Luna asked.

"If there was someone else, I would've sure gone easy on them!" Void said, summoning his katana. "But! It's you, Your Highness. In front of me, even though you're younger than me!" In a swift movement, Void got close to her.

"So unfair of you!" Luna took out her scythe, and the clash shook the mansion.

"Unfair? You're a Master's C rank, a senior master, and a natural mana user. Like hell I would look down on you!" Void said as they started clashing their blades. Void threw Luna away.

After crashing, Luna managed to balance herself. "Look who's talking, the only man to reach Master's and become D rank Master at the age of 17! Brother Void? Aren't you someone who must be feared more than me?" Luna said, getting back to her stance.

"Ahh! Those flattery won't work on me. I think it was the grace of Her Majesty that allowed me to reach the rank easily. That's why I won't consider myself a Master yet!" Void said, getting back in his stance. "Now let's end it here!" Concentrating again, he called out, "Frosted Blade Sweep!" A wide sweeping slash was directed toward Luna, freezing everything in its path. Even droplets of water turned into rime ice.

"This won't be enough! Dark Void!" Luna said, shooting a concentrated void with dark energy and mana toward the slash, shattering the attack and the ice.

"Glacial Vortex Slash!1" Void appeared from behind. The ice that was shattered reformed and hit Luna before she could react. Void landed a swirling vortex of ice, making her pass out.

After the duel, Void went back to rest and take a nice bath, while Luna was made to sleep for a while.

Luna Allainette, another unknown character to me, but as far as I've learned from Marcus and Arcane, she's currently the strongest young magic user. I may have defeated her in this mock battle because she is still weak in using natural mana.

Keeping that aside, I'm kind of confused about how this world works. At first, I thought this world would make me sissy! But now, after all this, I've started to realize that I can become a harem king in a reverse world! Well, I'll focus on this later on. Not like I have free time. Shuri Lux has already played her game. She took Charles, Samuel, and Leonard on her side by showing how kind, righteous, gentle, and etcetera she is!

Which means the script is not just changing, it is creating some new death patterns for me! And all these patterns will have Shuri Lux involved, directly or indirectly! Let's see what is coming forth...
