Avina could feel the soft force her eyelids were pushing with. Her eyes quivered for a moment before she could feel her surroundings. An icy touch washed over her body giving a taste of a spicy, tingling feeling. The tips of her ears felt vividly warm but she was sure a simple touch would reveal their cold nature.
Her breath escaped with each heave of her chest. She opened her mouth on the next breath and felt the icy air flushing through her body. Like butterfly wings, Avina's eyes slowly opened, revealing the soft yellow eyes hidden underneath.
The room was empty, scarce, and abandoned. The floors were muddled with splotches of dirt, but underneath, tiles of pure white gleamed. The only access to the outside was a simple door stationed right in front of her. But sure enough, despite her desire to unlock the door, she couldn't find any strength.
