'Ellie, where are you?' I heard Joseph mindlink to me when he AGAIN forgot that I go jogging in the morning everyday

'Jose don't you remember that I go running every morning about this time'

'Oh! My bad but are you on your way back because we have a meeting with the new pack that wants to share our territory at ten'

'Oh, shoot, that's today?'

'Yeah now who's the one forgetting stuff, huh?'

'Not funny' I smiled to myself when I jumped over a log

'Hey you almost made me trip over a log'

'Really? Are you okay?'

'Yes I was kidding and to answer your question yes I'm almost at the pack house'

'Ok' I blocked him out and finished my jog

…One Hour Later...…

"Thank you Alpha Joseph it was nice meeting you and your mate" both me and Joseph just finished our meeting with alphas of black ice pack, Alpha Genaro, Female alpha Daniela and their son Joshua

"Yes we'll get back to you on what my beta's say about the territories'' Joseph said while I was walking with Daniela we were in front of Joseph and Genaro

"I'm happy that you both came. That is a shame that Recardo didn't come"

"Yeah you know teenagers they never want to go to some boring meeting just like what my son says

"Ma (Mom) I don't want to go to some boring meeting" I mimicked the way Recardo said to me this morning but I didn't say the other thing he said

"Yes I do, he's just like Josh...…well I have to go, again it was nice meeting you Esperanza" she stepped away when we both got to the car

"Have a safe ride back home" Alpha Genaro said standing next to Daniela

"Thanks bye!" We got in the car and drove away

"Alpha, the betas are waiting for you in the meeting room" Chase said walking up to us when we got out of the car

"Thank you Chase" he bowed at us and then left

"Hey so I got to go meet them and tell them what happened at the meeting with the alpha's"

"Ok well I'm going to go see if Recardo finished his homework" I was already walking towards the house but not before Joseph grabbed my arm and spines me around to kiss me

"Ok bye Joseph!" I smiled while blushing and tried to cover it up but it didn't work because he chuckled and pulled me closer but I got out of his hold

"Bye!" He smiled and winked at my direction. I was walking in the house when I was already about to call out to Recardo but stopped when I noticed that someone was talking about my son in the living room

"I know but Recardo …but Gabe! It's just...…ok! Ok! Meet you at the ice cream shop in one hour, okay?... ok! I'll tell you everything I know and who knows...…. oh! Esperanza hey!...….. I got to go bye...." I Immediately walked in like I never heard a peep

"Hi Bella, who were you talking to on the phone..." Bella is going to be living with us because Recardo wants his mate close by and her parents and her brother are also living here. I'm getting some second thought about Bella and her family, hmm?

"Your parents? Brother? A friend? Or.....-"

"Oh! Well yes I was talking to a friend but he said that he'll miss the family game night tomorrow...…Oh! Look at the time it's 10:15pm I should head to bed.....night alpha!" She left me alone in the room

"Uh, Bella?"

"Yes!"

"The guest rooms are up....." I pointed towards the stairs

"...…stairs not the front door. Do you need to go somewhere right now?"

"Oh! My bad I thought...…well I was thinking about going on a run with Gabe"

"Oh! well didn't your father say during dinner Gabe will be gone half the night tonight"

"Oh! That's right I'm.....well...…I uh? I.." I was so busy that I was having someone trying to mindlink me

'Ellie, where are you?'

'I'm in the living room, why?'

'Well I thought you were with Recardo because I'm with him in the office, can you come here, please? I have to talk to the both of you'

'Ok on my way'

"Well Bella I have.....to go, Bella?' I turned to look at Bella but I didn't see her, only some omegas. I smiled and walked out

"Esperanza are you okay?" When I reached the top step I found Jazmin down the hall

"Yeah I'm just thinking that's it"

"Ok night Esperanza"

"Night....wait! Jazmin, can you please do me a huge favor?" I walked towards her and she was doing the same

"Yes?" "Um can....let's talk in here" I walked in, in another extra guest room

"Both of you out, NOW!" I used my alpha voice to some teenagers that were messing around

"Esperanza are you sure you are okay?"

"Yes I don't want no one to hearing our conversation....I want you to go and spy on Bella for me until there's information that will tell me..... um" I wasn't sure if I should tell her or not because I can tell she cares about my son and I don't want nothing to happen to her or him

"Well I think I'll ask someone else instead" meaning that I will do it myself instead I was already opening the door to leave

"Esperanza please....let me help please" she grabbed my arm to stop me from leaving

"You know that I have cared for your son since fourth grade. When my parents and I were rogue's and no one invited us-"

"Ok I understand I just want information to see if Bella is really Recardo's mate or if his real mate is somewhere out there waiting for him"

"Ok I'll do it but do you know where she is?"

"All I know it's an ice cream shop so I don't know"

"Ok" she was walking out and walking towards the stairs

"Thanks Jazmin" I stopped her and gave her a hug

"For what?"

"For not thinking that I'm a crazy mom and being over protective of my child"

"Your welcome I see you as my second mother besides my mom" she then hugged me back

"Ok now I'm gonna leave because Joseph wants to talk to me and Recardo about something, bye and thank you" I let her go and walked towards the main office

"Ok alpha"

"JAZMIN!" I yelled at her knowing that she knows NOT to call me that only the lower ranks do (omega's) or if we're not in the pack grounds but in another alpha's pack
