Chapter 1: Death

[3rd POV]

In the pitch-black void, you can see a bright white orb floating around aimlessly. Yes, this white orb is none other than our MC's soul. As for why he is here, let's see.

{Flashback}

In a luxurious-looking hospital room, you can see a young man of 17–18 years old lying on a hospital bed connected to multiple machines that are monitoring his condition.

Then a doctor came to the young man and said,"Victor, I don't want to tell you this, but you are on your last leg. At most, you can live for a day if you fight hard". "I know that already, I can feel my body slowly giving in. Can you call my maid Alice?" said Victor.

"I will call her," said the doctor.

'Why is this happening to me, as if losing my parents wasn't enough I am suffering from a terminal illness which has no cure till to this day' thought Victor.

"Young Master! I heard you called me" said Alice with worry clear in her voice.

" Yes, I wanted to thank you for raising me and being by my side all these years. I don't know what would happen to me without you" said Victor.

Alice stood there silently, unable to say anything and holding back tears that were threatening to fall.

Soon my heart began to slow down and my consciousness was fading away.

"End of flashback"

" Where am I? Why is it dark here? Is this the afterlife?" thought Victor.

" No child, you are in the void," said the being who appeared in front of me. "Who are you" I asked.

"I am a Primordial and creator of this multiverse," said the being.
