The day tragedy occurred

~1 hour prior~

After the match ended and little chat with Edith Raiser was on his way to the party venue, a boy who seemed to be in his teens was leaning against the wall facing opposite to the room where Raiser was, the teen had black hair with cold black eyes his hands were in the pockets of his dark blue jeans while wearing a plain black shirt with its sleeves folded just up to his elbow.

As Raiser left the room he was greeting by the view of young man leaning on the wall with his hands in his pocket. He was first taken back by the look of boy who was more or less same age as him, but noticing he was not interested in him, Raiser turned to leave as he turned he heard a cold voice

"You were the boy who screwed up in the finals right?" said the black haired teen.

"Yes. Are you too going to badmouth me, I know it was my mistake and it wasn't intentional okay!" ,Raiser said and turned to leave.

"Ah! Well, I am not here for that. By the way, it was a good game, well played. And congrats on winning after all its whole team that wins not an individual." said the teen.

Raiser turned to look at him and probably thank him, but after he turned the teen was nowhere to be found.

Later, he was greeted by Edith's little sister.

"Hey bigbro, nice try there."

"Ah!! Not you too. Fine then I will try my best again. Now are you satisfied, if you are lets go, everybody is probably itching to criticize me now. Haahh!!" ,Raiser said with a frown on his face.

A dark brown haired beauty and grey eyes walk toward the duo and talked with Edith's little sister. She was Selina kinda idol of the class, many proposed to her but ended rejected by her cold tone, she's also the crush of Raiser. When she came close, his heart started to beat faster but he calmed down after remembering the events he had in past with her. He tried to help her in many ways tried to talked to her but was always ignored .

'Hah!'After sighing internally he walkpassed them and entered to where the team was. As expected everybody gave him the gazes which he didn't wanted to see. After the congratulating ceremony and some words of appreciation by some higher ups the crowd was dismissed.

After the speech students dispersed into their respective groups Raiser came to the Group of Edith containing Edith, Selina, Edith's little sister, with three more of students. He didn't had any hopes of joining the group as it contain school's idol and star of today's match, but unfortunately or in his case fortunately was ignored by everyone.

"Man that was a long, even for a appreciating speech", Edith said.

"Well it might be for you everybody attention was on you. After all it was you who made up the match after certain someone screwed it up. "Andrew said as he shot a gaze towards Raiser.

"Well we still have time, how about we hang out a little.", Edith proposed to the group

"Well I agree"

"So do I" everybody agreed ignoring the opinion of Raiser.

As everybody walked Raiser also tagged along behind them as he had nothing to do.

As this was happening somewhere in the mall. A white haired man with blue eyes was searching for something along with a man who having an appearance seems to be 30's having dark brown hair and beard.

"Did you find it?", said the man in 30's.

"No. But are you sure its here because I don't think so that it could be here.", replied man with white hair.

"No I am damn sure it is somewhere here. I got this info from Gee."

"By Gee do you mean Mr.Gee the info broker?" asked the whited haired youth.

"Yeah that's why we brought 'him' to this place." Said man in 30's.

"By the way, where is he now? He was supposed to be with us in this hunt."

"He went to see someone in certain match. Don't worry he will be back soon." Answered man in 30's.

"Look he is here."

"I don't understand why are you here for that item. I mean if you want it, there are many other ways and easier methods to find it. Its not like that item is that rare or anything.", said the teen with black hair and black eyes.

"You don't understand we're not here for item we are here for a person.", said the youth with white hair.

"Well then you two split up. Meet me after you find anything. Let the hunt begin!" said the man in 30's.

~Few minutes before the explosion

Raiser was separated from the group when he was tagging along. Nobody bothered to inform him about the plans for rest of the days. As he was thinking about what to do next he saw Edith's little sister on the other side of the floor.

He rushed there and as he was about to reach there, *BOOM* sound of an explosion was heard. Everybody felt the shock wave of that explosion and fell down on the ground of that floor. Not after a couple of seconds another sound of explosion and was on much bigger scale was heard taking almost sixty percent of the building with it. Raiser was swept by the shock wave of the blast and felt dizzy.

At same time somewhere near the group of Edith everybody started to panic and ran. Edith was desperately searching for his little sister "Amy where are you…??" screamed Edith.

"Hey Edith, WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT? Half of the building fell apart."

"HOW THE HELL WOULD I KNOW!!. Help me find my sister."

After few minutes of dizziness Raiser tried to clear his mind and recalled what happened. He got up looked at the panic caused between his fellow classmates and civilians. He saw corpses of his classmates, civilians, woman, children, elders. He puked at the sight of it.

"How did this happen? What was it? ", Raiser had lots of question in his mind, but at this moment he snapped and thought about his group. Even though they treated him like trash he still wished that they should be safe and started to search for them.

At that moment he saw unconscious Amy, sister of Edith on the edge of a part of building which seemed to be fall at any time. Without caring for the surrounding and his own life he dashed towards Amy and picked her up and searched for the group of Edith. Same time group of Edith arrived there.

"Hey Edith, here!! I found her."after saying that, at that time he felt a little movement below his legs, Raiser had a faint idea of what's gonna happen so he tossed unconscious Amy towards Edith. He knew that this pavement was very unstable the moment he landed foot on it, he knew that this part wont hold for much long so he decided to save Amy rather than let both of them die.

As he tossed Amy at that moment after handing Amy to Selina, Edith rushed to help Raiser, as he extended his hand for help so that Raiser can catch it, Raiser also extended his hand but, he was a little late the tip if their fingers just touch each other for a fraction of second and Raiser fell down on ground along with some boulders on top of him . He was feeling pain over his entire body some parts were felling a burning sensation. His body was crushed between the weight on the boulders.

"RAISERRRRR!!!!", screamed Edith.

'So this is how I die huh.' Raiser thought and his consciousness submerged into darkness.

"Edith come on let's go!", said Andrew.

"But Raiser is still down there. I can't leave him after the favor he did to me.", said Edith furiously.

"Are you out of your mind Edith. Look he fell down from sixth floor and no human could survive that crash, moreover he is crushed between the boulders of concrete down there. What do you think the result would be huh, and even if he is alive he won't be for long due to the fire down there. Let's go Edith as much as we won't want to accept this, but its over for Raiser, he couldn't be saved", said Ryo.

Edith realized that its futile to wait here also the pavement below him also started to crack.

"We have to get out of here. This floor won't hold out for much long." ,said Selina.

'I owe you one Raiser Silverman.' said Edith as he left with a hint of guilt and sorrow in his eyes.
