"I was wondering just how long I would have to hold off for you all to show up.." Sage said impatiently. "Flint..take ten students with you and head to the sleeping quarter, get the goods that have been piled up by the foyer," Sage said dismissively and walked to stand some distance away under a shade.
Flint turned back to glance at the children "You all heard what she said, I would be needing ten of you to come with me to bring the goods out.."
On finishing her sentence, ten volunteers ambled forward. Flint scrutinized them and nodded her head "Let's move" Saying this the ten volunteers followed her towards the sleeping quarter.
While they were gone the remaining students who had been left behind had joined the rest of the children and we're all now awaiting Flint's arrival.
Not long after, the ten children who had left could be seen coming back with items in their hands. As they approached Sage walked towards the Mussel Mobile and called out to the approaching children "Bring them over here!"
With Flint leading the way they all made their way toward Sage. The enthusiastic children who wanted to get an even closer look at the Mussel Mobile used this as an opportunity to get closer and this didn't exclude Ulanni.
Sage turned to her left and called out to someone "Hey bulky are you going to keep standing there?.. we need to load these things in.." Sage said.
At her voice, the children all turned to face where Sage had directed her words, and it was then some of them spotted that the tree's shadow seemed to have an unusual contour.
They were all startled when they heard a deep masculine voice answering Sage's question.
"Why do you call for me? My only responsibility is to see that the students arrive safely to the training grounds…" The shadow voice replied.
Some children were scrutinizing the area the tree was standing, they were sure the voice was coming from there but they could not see anybody.
"He is concealing himself, he has abilities !.." Sarah blurted out, her eyes going wide she quickly clasped her hands over her mouth 'She hadn't meant to say it out loud' but sadly she couldn't take what she had said back.
Some children standing around her were giving her weird glances and an aggressive boy threw the question on everyone's mind at her "How do you know that?.."
Sarah dropped her hand from her mouth, 'well now that she had said it there was no need to act timid these weaklings would think they can walk over me' Sarah thought through.
'Well it's not my fault that you all are dummies and can't figure such simple things out" Sarah said looking pointedly at the boy who challenged her.
"What..!!" Ulanni gasped, hurt by what Sarah had said.
"No...no, not you Ulanni, I am talking about them," Sarah said pointing her finger at the other children, then turned it to settle on the boy who had questioned her "And most particularly him.."
"Who do you think you are? You blue-headed monkey" The boy resorted with his eyes pining Sarah on the spot.
"Who do you think you are referring to as a blue-headed monkey.." Sarah yelled already rilled up.
Ulanni looking scared of what was about to happen moved closer to Sarah and tried tugging on her gown to get her to stop causing a scene.
"Sarah let's walk over there okay…I don't think it's a good idea to be angry right now.." Ulanni uttered pointlessly, she didn't know what to do in a situation like this.
The children had by now formed a circle around the two people having a face-off with some of them laughing at how childlike Ulanni was acting.
"I think you should listen to your child..she looks like she is about to cry.." The boy said with a smirk on his face.
'That was the last straw nobody spoke to Ulanni like that and left in one piece' Sarah thought in range as she freed herself from Ulanni's grasp and lunged at the unsuspecting boy.
Shock crossed his eyes, he was not expecting her to do such a thing as Black was still around, and come to think of it why had she not intervened yet.
But he didn't have a chance to look around as Sarah landed on him and rained precise punches to his face.
The boy tried to free himself from Sarah's punches, but it seemed she was stronger as he could only cry out in pain and try to use his hand to protect his face the best that he could.
"You lowly being _punch!…you_ punch!..would never_ punch!..talk to her in _punch!.. that manner ever again" Sarah squeezed out those words from her tightly clenched teeth as Ulanni kept crying and attempting to pull Sarah off of the bleeding boy.
The boy beneath her already eased his stand and started to beg for mercy but Sarah didn't seem to be ceasing anytime soon.
Sarah was soon yanked off of the boy by someone, blinded with range she immediately turned to face the person who had the guts to do that, and in sighting Flint who stood before the bleeding boy her anger seemed to grow in leaps and bounds.
Small energy tendrils could be seen weaving themselves around each strand of her hair, and her eyes cracking with blue energy.
The air seemed to have gotten a lot cooler than it had been just seconds ago.
"How dare you!.." Sarah painfully drawled out with blood seeping out the corners of her lips, raising her hand to where Flint was standing and funnelling everything in her to her palm.
Everything stilled around with everyone's attention now focused on Sarah.
The man who had concealed himself by the tree now revealed himself with a surprised look on his face.
