C10 Lost in Town 2/2

-It's already past evening but the whole city was still shining with bright lights. There weren't any magicians standing by or anyone supplying them with magic but still, you can clearly see everything with how bright it is.

Passing by some of the lights, it looked like stars inside tubes and spheres. There were some that was not lit but lights up if I come close and some had switches that turns them on if you flick it.

Truly magnificent.

But in spite these beautiful scenery my mind was still at loss because...

I'm walking behind two strangers who forced me to follow them to a grave yard to do something. I wanted to know what they wanted to do but I kept quiet as I didn't want to experience again what I had experienced before I agreed to go with them. It was...

"Why are you so quiet all of a sudden?"

"...horrifying"

"What?"

"ahh! Nothing ma'am!"

I blindly let out what I had in my in response to the question the guy that looked like his at my age.

"Look what you did to her!"

"eek!"

They didn't actually harm me in any way, but what the girl said they were going to do if I did not comply was truly frightening. The difference of our strength were clearly presented with the words coming out of her mouth.

"No-sorry! Why did you tell her those lies anyway!?"

He apologized for scaring me and scolded the little girl.

"Those were not lies!"

At first, when her eyes met mine, my heart felt a sense of comfort, but now, I only feel the need to obey.

"Don't worry, just let her be for a while, she'll be okay. "

"If you say so."

I followed behind them while the two of them talked to each other.

They walked towards a crowd lining up and whispered to each other. I heard some of their whispers but I didn't quite understand what it was. I only heard the words 'around the corner', 'buy', 'sell' and 'money'.

I was right, I'm gonna be sold to a prostitution house.

We stop beside a building with a glowing sign 'NIGHT BAR'.

From what I know, a bar was a place where they sell liquor and ladies would dance on poles so drunk men could throw money at them.

"I must make my move."

While both of them were busy talking by themselves, I slowly took silent steps backward.

"Hey, how much money do you- Why are so far away? Come closer we can't converse if you're there!"

"I can hear you just fine from here!"

Both of us were shouting at the top of our lungs because of the distance between us.

The little girl thug the boy's shirt and spoke.

"*** do her *** at the toilet *** let's get **** her inside ***"

"Really?*** pay up***"

They said while pointing towards the bar.

"No!!! I don't want to!!!"

I ran away from them out of fear.

From those words alone, it was clear what they were planning to do.

They were going to do me inside a toilet at the bar and sell me afterwards!

"I don't want to be become a prostitute!"

"Hey! Wait! Where are you going!?"

"I told you she had to go and was just shy!"

"I'm not shy!"

I heard them shouting at me while chasing me but I didn't look back while answering as I was scared of being caught. I casted magic on myself to boost my physical abilities to make sure they couldn't chase me.

"I am Char! The fastest archwizard-"

*vroooooom

I heard a loud popping sound catching up behind me which made me cut my words, I turned to look behind me and saw some kind of weird superfast vehicle.

"Wait! Char! Please!"

"Waaah!?"

It had only two wheels, one at the front and one at the back. It was already unbelievable that a person could ride something with only two wheels fixed at the front and back not the sides. How much more if the one driving is actually a little girl!?

"I will not lose!"

I declared while running even faster.

"Really?! Bring it on!"

"bablebablebable- Be-e-e-e k-k-careful! I-i-i kneww I should-d-d have be-e-en the on-ne to-to-to d-d-drive!"

I was already running at a very high speed, one couldn't normally run faster than a horse or a cheetah like me but the vehicle was moving even faster and could almost overtake me.

I faced forward and casted another boost and sped up to gain more distance between us.

There was a another path leading to another direction at the corner.

If I take that turn their vehicle couldn't possible take it like I could.

"Charrrr! Stopp!"

"Nooo!!!"

I took the turn while shouting.

"Woooh! I win!!!"

...

*vroooom!

"It's not over yet!"

I heard the little girl shouting at me, I turned my head once more to look at her and saw the golden sword glowing in her right hand plunged deep in to the rock hard road to support the vehicle while she took the turn using the other hand to drive.

*eeek! *drrrg!

"WHAT IN THE WORLD!? That's cheating! Where did you even get that!?"

The tires of the vehicle screeched while the sword dug a deep long curved line on the rock hard road.

"Admit your loss!"

She yelled while pointing her sword at me.

Not much time passed, the distance between us shortened so I tried to cast another boost.

"Not yet! I can still- *Bam! -ooof! aw aw aw!"

*eeeek!

"You alright?"

"You think so?"

I bumped hard on some kind of pole with a light at the tip beside the road. I couldn't clearly see it because the light it gave was dimmer than the others similar to it so I didn't notice and just ran to it.

"I win!"

"Heal her first!"

"No, don't worry I had a shield up before I crashed."

"Wow. You really fast. Not just physically but also when you cast your magic and you don't even look tired."

"I already did recovery magic on myself before you reached me."

Magicians were trained vigorously from childhood back in our country so I became fully equipped for battle before I even came here.

"WoWie!"

"Don't you have anything else to say?"

"Loser!"

"Not you!"

I yelled to the little girl sitting idly on the vehicle.

The boy behind her got off the vehicle and offered his hand to help me stand up. I took his hand and strengthened my grip as he pulled me up.

"Why did you run away?"

He asked after helping me up.

"You were going to sell me right? So I tried to-"

"Sell you? Whoever said that?"

"I heard you and her… "

True… Nobody ever said anything about selling me.

"But the at the bar you said you were going to do me in the toilet and have me pay up."

"What!? We thought that you wanted to take a leak! The bar has a toilet but you have to pay up when you use it without buying anything! Just what kind of dirty thoughts are going inside your head!"

Explained the little girl.

"Wha?!"

So they were just concerned about me?

"But what about the buy and sell at the corner?"

"Ahh! that? That was a surprise. If you don't like going there, then we won't go, but we need your help and this is the only compensation we could think of."

A surprise compensation? I'm curious as to what these people had to offer so I wanted agree to go with them.

"I-"

"My bike, please?"

A big man wearing leather jeans and coat suddenly interrupted us and spoke from behind us. It seems like he was the owner of the vehicle they used.

"It's a great bike! You have great taste boy. You have my thanks!"

"I know right-"

*crash!

The little girl praised the man as she tried to get off the bike only to fall to the side together with the 'bike'.

"Eyy, careful now little girl."

She stood up leaving the bike still leaning on the ground and said,

"Thank you for your patronage! You will have a place in heaven!"

"Thank you?"

The guy took off along with other 'bikers' who I think followed us all the way here.
