Branch Shop's Land

After he was done with this, Si Chen decided to take a visit to the Hui Yuan Drink Store to find out how it was currently doing.

He had nothing on his schedule right now, so he was free to do as he liked. On the way, he could also buy some new clothes for him and Xiao Meng.

Although he had bought a black suit, it was only one piece of clothes after all.

There was still the pants.

He changed into a casual attire, informed Xiao Meng that he was leaving, before he left towards Hui Yuan Drink Store.

He hailed a cab, and then politely told the driver to go towards the Hui Yuan Drink Store.

When the middle-aged driver heard his words, his eyes brightened up when he found something to talk about, "The Hui Yuan Drink Store? That's the shop that was became popular recently, right? My children also goes there occasionally to drink.'

"They even said that the drinks there were fabulous! I remembered that they had visited the place in the past and called it overpriced shop that sold low quality drinks. I don't know what happened, but this drink store suddenly completely changed into a different store!" The middle-aged man continued to say.

"Boy, have you tried the drinks there before? Is it really as good as they say?" He then asked Si Chen with some doubt.

Si Chen was not surprised not irritated by the driver's chattering. Taxi drivers worked long hours, staying in the stuffy car all day, so it was not unexpected for them to kill of the boredom by talking to the customers.

And hearing about the store which he had invested in and developed be praised by others gave him a sense of pride and accomplishment.

"Uncle, your children really did not lie about this. I had tried the drinks in the store before, and it was one of the most amazing things I had ever drank before. Uncle, you should go and try one day, you will definitely not regret it." Si Chen responded without even blinking his eye.

"Oh, really? I should go and visit it someday then." The middle-aged driver lightly chuckled.

They chattered for a while, before his phone suddenly rang, and he unhurriedly picked it up.

It was Yang Deng.

"Yang Deng, what are you calling for?" Si Chen calmly asked.

"Boss Si, regarding the matter about the branch shop, I have already found a few suitable locations up for rent. " Yang Deng directly informed.

Hearing this, Si Chen lips rose into a smile, as he said with a hint of delight, "I'm already on my way to the Hui Yuan Drink Store now. Let's discuss this matter there."

"Okay Boss Si." Yang Deng gave his acknowledgement, hung the call, and prepared to leave his house.

Si Chen stared out of the window, as he admired the scenery outside that quickly passed by.

Half an hour later, he reached the Hui Yuan Drink Store. Paying the fee, he reminded the driver to come and try out the drinks in the store, before he left the taxi.

Hui Yuan Drink Store, after the continued success of the 3 new drinks, has reached a new peak that had never been seen before.

The store was crowded with people, and lines of queues could be seen.

The entire place was brimming with life and vitality, and it was hard to imagine how this shop was nothing but a mere deserted region a few weeks ago.

There were some small shops around the area that also benefited from the burst of popularity of the store.

Seeing the entirely packed interior of the store, Si Chen was pondering on whether he should buy the land around it to expand the space.

Or he could also make it multi-storied instead.

As Si Chen directly walked into the store, a few of the store attendants noticed Si Chen, and freed up a table for him to sit at.

Yang Deng had already informed the new attendants about Si Chen. He didn't want any of them to start offending him because of their ignorance.

He was his boss, after all.

Si Chen was led to a rather isolated table at the far end of the store, where the noise wasn't as loud.

He ordered a drink, free of charge, and quietly sipped it whilst waiting for Yang Deng to arrive.

He studied the changes made to the store.

The interior of the store was completely enveloped by cold and refreshing air – the newly installed air conditioner was turned on throughout, and gave its customers a more comfortable experience.

Next, the tables and chairs were replaced with even finer and pleasing looking tables and chairs.

The decorations were modernized, the store design simplistic.

It was shrouded in a brilliant glamour that was hard to hide.

Attractive and captivating designs, along with the unforgettable drinks, provided an irresistible allure to most customers.

After waiting for a few minutes, Yang Deng finally came.

He was adorned with a slightly expensive attire, while his hairstyle was even changed to give him a more professional look.

His aura, as compared to the past, was countless times more powerful and imposing, and carried with him a bearing of a boss.

One look at him, and you would know that this man was successful.

"Boss Si." Yang Deng called out to Si Chen in a respectful tone, and then took his seat, his hands holding a few documents which he placed on the table.

"Looks like you are doing well lately. You look completely changed.´ Si Chen looked up at Yang Deng and complimented.

"Haha, with the help of Boss Si, it is inevitable for me to learn and improve as well. Boss Si, you seem to grow more handsome and elegant too." Yang Deng chuckled.

"How is the business here doing so far?" Si Chen ignore Yang Deng's shameless attempt at bootlicking, and questioned.

"The drink store is doing much better than ever! After the introduction of the 3 drinks, our customer base has exponentially increased. Along with this, our profits has now reached a steady peak of around $1500 every day." Yang Deng informed, his face full of pride and delight.

"Of course, this is all attributed to Boss Si. Without Boss Si, the drink store can never make it so far." Yang Deng continued to say.

Si Chen nodded his head in satisfaction, "Next time, send the information about the daily profits directly to my message on my phone, and the other relevant information. I don't want you to keep calling me every day to inform me about the drink store's progress, unless it is regarding something serious"

"Okay." Yang Deng nodded his head in response.

"On the phone, you told me that you have found a few suitable locations for our branch shops. Where are they?" Si Chen then switched the topic to a more important one.

Yang Deng lowered his gaze and gave the documents on the table towards Si Chen, "Boss Si, this is all the information that I had found."

Si Chen took over the documents and leaned back comfortably on his chair while going through every single one of them.

After he was done, he placed one of the pieces of paper in front of Yang Deng, as he told him, "Let's go with this one."

"A shop located in the Riverside Avenue, a monthly rent of $8000. The location is suitable, with the street being a slightly vibrant shopping avenue. As for the rent, it is acceptable for the size and value of this land."

"However, if you can, I will rather we directly buy out the land instead. Unfortunately, because we do not have enough funds, we are unable to do so."

Si Chen sighed as he finished his words. Taking ownership of the land was far more worth than renting it. But he couldn't do anything about this.

Even the land at which Hui Yuan Drink Store is situated at was also rented by them, only at a lower cost of $6000.

Hearing Si Chen's words, Yang Deng stared at Si Chen with his eyes slightly widened in surprise, as he curiously asked, "Boss Si, have you already finished reading all the contents?"

Si Chen casually nodded his head.

Yang Deng was astonished. After all, Si Chen had spent only around a minute to go through all that he had searched for. To be able to read, understand, and analyse so much in just a minute, was not a feat that any random person could do.

He exclaimed within his heart at what a monster this Si Chen was, but thinking about the numerous achievements which he had completed, from creating the intricate business plan, to the outstanding drink recipes, it didn't feel as surprising anymore.

"Boss Si, I also agree with your choice. However, we just have a slight problem here. There is also another stall which is competing for his location, and it may be a bit difficult for us to secure this space."
