Bobby and Sarah walked side by side, drawing the envious and jealous stares of the other recruits. Sarah's cheeks flushed as she sneaked glances at Bobby, feeling a mix of disappointment and admiration. Bobby, as usual, remained calm and composed, which only intensified her feelings for him.

After their walk, Bobby shared with Sarah his harrowing experiences in the Sky Cloud Forest, omitting the part about Steve's assassination attempt and the dangerous beasts he encountered. Despite the omissions, Sarah was still visibly shaken by his tale.

Once alone in his room, Bobby reflected on the failed assassination and his need to conceal his true strength for a future confrontation with Steve. He had deliberately avoided challenging Dale for this very reason. Sitting down, Bobby focused his consciousness on the dimension within his left eye. A faint green glow indicated the brink of the peak fifth rank in his cultivation, but Bobby's thoughts were elsewhere.
