1pm five days later
_______
I had to tell Mente thank you. Right after lunch, I headed towards the place she stayed in. I could see people staring at me as I walk by.
I do agree, it did feel weird without Kyutie next to me and the hospital wing refused to let anyone else come and visit her.
It's been a week.
No sign of her and I wish they gave us information on how she's doing.
I had my tie loose around my neck. My pants were a bit too big for me as my shoes were shining white in the sun above.
It was a bit colder than usual. The clouds in the sky heavily as the sift winds touches everyone's skin. I saw her place. My heart racing as I didn't want to disturb her peace if she was there.
Running up to her door, I stop instantly.
The doormat surprisingly welcoming visitors. Reading the words (Welcome) in bold letters. I look at the tiles on the door and could smell a wonderful perfume smell coming from the inside. So quiet. No one walks past this place much.
The sound of the academy was far too dim to hear what they were saying.
I bald my fist. So scared to knock on this damn door. I wonder if she would answer or not. I proceed to knock.
"Mente?!" I proclaim. My head facing downward as I call out her name.
No answer.
I wait a few moments before knocking again.
"MENTE?!" I yell louder.
No answer.
I knock a bit harder, hoping to get her attention.
No answer.
As I knock a bit harder, the door went slightly ajar. My heart stopped thinking she opened the door.
I back away, looking through the door. The smell of fresh bacon hit my nose as I slowly walk up to the door before slowly pushing on it. The henges sprayed with WD40 since there was no sound when it opened.
I poke my head through.
My eyes instantly began looking around. Opening the door wider, I step into the place.
It was beautiful.
A large bookshelf of all sorts of books. The glass table sitting on the perfect white carpet. A large painting of some ancient yet futuristic city on the wall beside the staircase.
On the other side of the staircase was another staircase that leads to another part of this place. Possibly a four-bedroom place, yet she had all this to herself.
I close the door behind me.
"Mente? the door was open, so I just gently let myself in if you don't mind..." I say. My voice echoed throughout the place. Smelt so good in here. No Tv's anywhere. The kitchen was wonderful. Nearly empty with a beautiful decore to it.
No answer.
"Mente?" I call out.
From standing below the stairs, I could see her bed from below.
I felt weird I was in here without her permission. I'm guessing since she is well known to not like anyone, she left her place unlocked since she knows no one dared to fuck with her.
"Mente?" I whisper.
I slowly walk up the stairs one by one.
My hand dragging across the white wall as I reach the top of the stairs.
That's when I knew I was in her room. A large, large, very large bed. A Tv sitting on the wall with a glass table under it with a few golden items. A large waterfall that came out of the wall and two house trees sitting on either side of her bed. The frame of the bed was filled with water and inside were little coral fish. Like a fish tank decorated wonderfully with a mattress on top.
I look at the edges of the floor that ran across the walls.
A small stream of water with little leaves floating. Small water frog swimming around inside. this was like a Zen garden inside of a room.
I could see her walk-closet
Something really caught my attention.
Hanging on the wall was a silver sword. The hilt of it golden and covered with wings that of an angel. I make my way to it.
A smile ran across my face as I stare the thing down.
I then touch it.
Like my brain went through a portal. I teleported into another place. going back in time so long ago. I could feel my body being pulled by some sort of energy.
A vision occurred.
Standing in front of me was a dead person. His wings spread out as he laid flat on his stomach. My heart stops.
"SIR!" I scream.
Leaning down to touch him, I press down only for my hand to go through him. I stand back up quickly from the shock.
Next to him was a little girl crying. Her hands were covered in blood. It was Mente as a little girl. I could tell by the hair and skin tone. The body shape and structure of the face.
I stand there watching.
I could see her kneeling down in a puddle of her own tears.
"We have to go, Mente!" Another little girl zips right behind Mente, grabbing her by the arm before trying to pull. It was Kyutie as a little girl. Mente stayed there crying.
I'm assuming Mente hadn't trained yet. As Kyutie pulls her arm, Mente struggles to stay stable. I step back.
"I killed him," Mente cries.
Kyutie tries to pull harder.
"Run! I will take the blame. Run!" Kyutie says. Kyutie's hands were no covered in the same blood Mente had on her hands.
I came back to. Still standing in Mente's room.
I look around.
How did Mente get so strong? From an innocent little girl to the Goddess of the universe. Kyutie told me she and Mente hated each other, yet I see Kyutie taking the blame for a murder she hadn't committed.
This was probably before all the drama happened. That explains why Kyutie isn't good with drama. I look around.
I look back at the sword.
I turn around ever so quickly. Mente standing there. Her hand instantly wraps around my neck as I quickly try to pull her off. Nothing happened. She lifts me into the air with ease before throwing me down the stairs.
I hit the wall and stairs on my way down.
I quickly stand before darting to the door as fast as I could. As I open the door, she comes through on the other side, grabbing me by the neck again before slamming me into the ground. She presses her knee on my chest. I could tell she was going easy on me since she didn't want to fuck up her place.
Her fist in the air and ready to come and strike me down as I clench my eyes shut.
"How'd you get in?" Mente asked. She had a Spanish accent in her mouth. I had my hands covering my face as I was scared she'd one strike me.
"PLEASE? PLEASE? THE DOOR WAS OPEN!" I cry.
Mente sits there, still holding me down.
"WHY are you here?" Mente demands.
"TO SAY THANK YOU!" I scream. My eyes still shut tightly as I turn my head the other way with my arms up hoping to soften her hit.
Mente lets go of my neck.
I could feel sweat dripping down my armpits and forehead as she stands up. She grabs my arm that was still in the air, lifting me and standing me on my own two feet.
She looks down making it hard for me to see her eyes.
"Get out!" She demands.
"I have to say-" before I finished she held her hand out, using the power of the wind to push me out of the door. She then brought her hands back to her chest, shutting the doors shut in my face. I stand there confused.
"Good talk..." I say.
