Chapter 20 | The goodbye to the prime district! for now!
Later that night everyone regrouped and was alive, Rey and Bryan did a good job at holding the minions down and killing every single demon in the whole base. They spent that night celebrating the fall of Hacks and their victory. However, Bryan did not participate since he had some mourning to do.
The Prime district was at its peak afterward, word got around that the faction lakeside retreat defeated Hacks and they were rewarded tons of money from the owner of the district and received praise.
Rey said that he was returning to his home village, and everyone said goodbye. The shopping district returned to normal, and everyone pretended like the demon raid never happened.
Steven spent weeks working at Huddy's shop and spent a day finding some new set of clothes for Hiroshi. They found a blue sweater for him and some blue jeans and dyed his hair blue to match the blue flames from his Axe, and during that time Steven found a cool black Jacket. They contracted a Black Smith who was happy to help repair everyone's weapons back to normal shape.
Steven and Jel also repaid the shop owner of the sword shop a pool of money and Steven apologized to the shop owner for the fake setup.
Steven then received a message from Huddy to come to her shop along with Hiroshi and Jel. And so, they did.
"Ding Ding Ding!" The bell rang as the three entered the shop.
"Geez, that bell never gets old." Steven laughed. "Anyways sup Huddy."
"Hai guys," Huddy said packing up supplies.
"Why are you packing up?" Jel asked.
"Well, that's because I'm going back to my hometown," Huddy stated. "And I'm moving the shop there."
"Oh well," Steven said. "I'll miss this shop."
"That Isn't the only reason I asked you to come here, Steven," Huddy said putting the box down. "I need your help badly."
"What's wrong?" Steven asked.
"You see, people from my town have been mysteriously missing," Huddy stated with a worried expression. "And I think it's a demon that's causing it."
"Demons..." Steven muttered. "But I need to find Chris."
"That's not the only thing Steven," Huddy said. "Your brother is there too."
"MY BROTHER?!" Steven yelled. "REALLY!?"
"Yes, word got around that recently someone who looked exactly like traveled to that town to fix the problem" Huddy stated. "I sent some others from this district to the town, so you'll have extra support."
"Heh, I can't wait to see your ugly face, Chris." Steven laughed.
"Uhm... that's not a very nice thing to say..." Jel muttered.
"I also asked you two to tag along with Steven to see if you wanted to come," Huddy said. "So? who's onboard?
"I'll come," Hiroshi said. "I'm sticking with Steven from now on."
"Great!" Huddy exclaimed. "And you Jel?"
"Unfortunately, I'll have to return home for the month to my family," Jel said. "I won't be able to."
"I see..." Huddy said. "Well, that's okay pumpkin!"
"Well, when are we moving?" Steven asked.
"Tomorrow!" Huddy answered.
"Uhm, okay," Steven said. "I guess I'll have to start packing."
"I guess I'll go home early since it would be lonely in this district without you two..." Jel said.
"Jel..." Steven said with a sad and worried tone.
Steven hugged Jel and so did Hiroshi.
"I'll miss you guys..." Jel said starting to tear up. "We had so much fun fighting together."
"After we defeat that demon in Huddy's hometown, we'll come to visit, okay?" Steven assured Jel.
"Okay!" Jel smiled.
The next morning the three-headed out, saying goodbye to the Prime district on Huddy's truck.
"GOODBYE JEL!!!" Steven and Hiroshi said waving at Jel. "WE'LL MISS YOU!!!"
"GOODBYE, EVERYBODY!!!" Jel waved back with a cheerful smile.
"Damm that smile will never get old." Steven thought to himself.
"Next stop, Claire De Lune." Huddy said grinning.
Many new people await Steven and Hiroshi at Claire De Lune town.
