Fu Hanning stared intently at the lush red lips inches from his face, his hawk-like eyes flashing with a hint of anger.
This woman truly had no shame.
Before him, she must have used this trick to seduce many men. Did she really think she could climb into his bed?
Gu Yining's lips met nothing but air.
Suddenly, the weight of her body vanished.
When she opened her eyes, she found Fu Hanning had snatched the blanket from the bed, wrapping it around her body in a rough manner until she resembled a cocoon.
"Fu Hanning, what the hell are you doing?" Gu Yining shouted, frustration boiling over.
She had been more than proactive; was this man completely unresponsive? Did he have a problem? If so, he should get it treated—she was a doctor, after all.
Standing at the foot of the bed, Fu Hanning was leisurely fastening the buttons of his shirt, a mocking glint in his eyes as he observed the woman on the bed. "Oh, I forgot to mention, I only like men. You hold no attraction for me whatsoever!"
"What?" Gu Yining's eyes widened in disbelief, certain she had misheard him.
"I warned you that you'd regret this. Who wants to be married to a man who's gay?" Fu Hanning smirked, his lips curling into a wicked smile before he walked out of the master bedroom.
His tall and slender figure strode confidently out the door, radiating an aura of coldness, indifference, and finality.
"Come back here! Fu Hanning, you bastard, get back here! I don't mind if you like both men and women!" Gu Yining yelled, her voice echoing in the empty room.
Trapped in her cocoon of blankets, she couldn't get up and could only roll off the bed onto the carpet, scrambling unsteadily to her feet.
She hopped and skipped to the door just in time to hear Fu Hanning's voice outside, instructing Li Feng.
"Get me a few quality men and send them to the usual place," he ordered.
"Yes, young master," Li Feng replied, his tone both obedient and nervous.
Gu Yining slumped against the door frame, sliding down to the floor.
She couldn't handle this shock!
Why was the husband she had painstakingly found, the one she had dreamed of marrying, actually gay?
With his good looks and family lineage—why would he choose to like men?
Weren't women beautiful?
Gu Yining felt deeply insulted by this revelation.
The blow to her ego was something she wouldn't recover from anytime soon.
Outside the door, Fu Hanning, knowing she had heard every word, allowed a wicked smile to escape his lips as he descended the staircase.
Li Feng followed closely behind, tentatively voicing his concern, "Young Master, should I prepare for the men, or not?"
Halfway down the stairs, Fu Hanning stopped and turned, his cold gaze sweeping over Li Feng. "You can prepare, but you'll be the one to enjoy them."
Li Feng broke out in a cold sweat; he certainly didn't share that interest.
After Fu Hanning left, he didn't return for the rest of the night.
So much had happened that day, a rollercoaster of emotions that utterly drained her.
Gu Yining crawled back into bed, finding a comfortable position, wrapped herself in the blankets, and fell into a deep sleep.
She had to admit, Fu Hanning's bed was incredibly soft and comfortable.

The next morning, Gu Yining was jolted awake when she was yanked off the bed with considerable force.
The sudden pain shot through her body, leaving her head spinning and her sleepiness vanishing in an instant.
"Have you lost your mind? This is the young master's bed! You've spent the whole night sleeping in it. If he finds out, you're going to be in serious trouble," Chen Ma reprimanded her, albeit with a hint of concern as she pulled Gu Yining away from the master bedroom.
"I'll have the maid come in to change the sheets shortly. The young master is extremely clean and never allows any woman to sleep in his bed. If you think you can use this to your advantage, you might want to reconsider that delusion," Chen Ma continued, guiding her out of the room.
Gu Yining followed behind Chen Ma, a bitter expression crossing her face.
She had already experienced this reality last night.
