He reached out his arm to encircle Tasha Moore's shoulders. Samuel Johnson kissed her on the face and gently said, "It's getting late. You should stay over tonight."
His words were addressed to Tasha Moore, but his eyes were fixed on Amanda Smith.
"Really?" Tasha's heart leaped with joy, but her face showed hesitation. "But... Samuel, we've only been together just over a month. Isn't this moving a bit too fast?"
Samuel chuckled softly and patted her back. "Where is your mind going? I'll prepare a guestroom for you."
Tasha leaned her head on his shoulder, whispering, "Then can I stay next door to you?"
"There's no guestroom next to me," Samuel shook his head. He glanced at Amanda not far away and said, "That guy over there has a guestroom next to him. You can stay there."
Amanda had finished her tea and upon hearing Samuel's words, she looked up with a smile, speaking warmly, "Yes, the room next door to mine is a guestroom, Tasha. You can move there."
