Chapter Ten

"What's going on with you and that girl?", Simon asked Zavier. He had seen him talking with Tessa on the stairs earlier.

"Her boyfriend won't like what you're doing. Are you trying to be her boyfriend or what?", he further asked him. Zavier didn't answer the question Simon asked him. 

"We've been given a huge job guys", Zavier announced to the six boys around him.

He looked at them one after the other. Cole, Damon, Simon, Matthew, Drake and Fred. Damon, Cole and Simon are the only black amongst them while the rest are white. 

"What job is that?", they chorused, looking interested. 

"We are to travel to Russia to look for a bastard named Jude"

"Who the hell is Jude?", Drake asked. 

"Jude is someone that stole five million dollars from a mafia boss named B. Joe. We all know B. Joe right? That one time bastard", Zavier stated and a chuckle was heard from a corner.

Orlando, Zavier ex-friend came into view and Zavier rose in anger. 

"What fuck are you doing here?", he asked angrily. 

"Relax. I came on Lina's behalf to say thank you for sending her a lambo", Orlando said smiling. 

"Stop smiling asshole", Zavier said.

"You can go now. I heard you"

"Actually", Orlando began as he removed his hand from his pockets.

"I just got the location of Jude. The bastard sold my ferrari for sixty three million dollars without my permission "

"How the hell did he get to-"

"We don't care about that. I don't need his location from you either. I'll get it myself", Zavier said sternly.

"I'd like to see Cole try that since he's so good at hacking ", Orlando taunted and fished out a piece of paper from his pocket. 

"Austin the great got his location. He got it in six freaking minutes though he took a lot of time", Orlando smiled and looked at Cole who sent him a look.

"Dude. Tell me you personally met Austin the great", Fred and Drake freaked out and asked to hear his answer.

They were dying to hear it. "What if I did meet him?", Orlando asked with his hands in the air.

Zavier went to Orlando and demanded for the piece of paper but he refused to give it.

"I get it that I fucked your girlfriend and impregnated her but you have to forgive me dude", Orlando said.

"I have forgiven you. Give me the paper", Zavier demanded once more with his hand stretched out.

Orlando placed the paper on his palm and immediately received a punch from. 

"You do know what that's for", Zavier said and walked away.

"We're leaving tonight at seven. Get ready everyone and take a few things", Zavier said and walked into his room.

Austin was looking at his phone and his laptop at the same time. His eyes went to the clock and smiled. It was just eight o' clock. 'They should be in the plane by now ', he thought. 

"Why are you smiling?", Jun ho asked as soon as he walked into Austin's room.

"Haven't you heard of privacy Trevor?", Austin asked with a frown.

"Privacy? C'mon. There's nothing you have that I don't have", Jun replied and sat on his comfy bed.

"You're ridiculous. You meant the size is different", Austin replied.

"Whatever. I'm not here for that", Jun ho said looking serious.

"The last time I checked. I am not a counselor to give you advice", Austin laughed.

"I have a serious matter to discuss with Austin. Why the hell are you laughing?"

"Let me guess. You have been scammed again. How much is it? Ten million? Twenty million?", Austin laughed as he thought of the amount Trevor lost. 

"Are you in love?", Jun ho asked out the blues looking serious. Austin looked at him for some moment and bursted into laughter.

"You are in love aren't you?"Austin asked, beating his chest.

"What if I am?", Trevor asked back.

"You're in love with my sister aren't you?"Austin attacked and Jun ho's eyes widened at his sharp accusation.

"What if I am?"Trevor asked again and Austin laughed. 

"She doesn't know, does she?"Austin asked and he shook his head.

"You're a coward", Austin stated. "It's only a matter of time before she gets herself another boyfriend. We both know time waits for no man", Austin said. Jun ho said nothing to him but was thinking about what he said.

"So, when will you be telling her?" Austin asked.

"Why? You wanna do something?"

"I ain't gonna do anything. Besides, that's your personal life so I'm not supposed to interrupt"

"She will reject me", Trevor muttered sadly.

"And why is that?"

"She's too beautiful and I'm…", Austin didn't need him to complete what he wanted to say for he already completed the sentence himself in his brain.

Austin smiled knowing that he has a gorgeous little sister who's beauty broke the scale of ten. 

"Why are you smiling? You're not mocking me right now. Are you?" Trevor asked, annoyed that he was smiling in the situation he got himself into.

"Babe!!! Baby!!"They both heard Ana's annoying voice downstairs. She was Austin's girlfriend. To Jun ho, she's so annoying and clingy. But boys' tastes are very different so she let Austin be. He must have seen something in her to still be together for so long. Going to three years now. 

"I'mma catch you later", Jun ho said and left the room before Ana meets him there. 

TEN MINUTES LATER

"Jun ho!!", Kim yelled as soon as Jun ho opened the door. She hugged him tightly as he watched Tessa pass by.

She looked tired as she walked to her room. She ignored Ryan that ran to her. Ryan looked at her as she stairs tiredly.

"She's gonna come to you dear", Ana said warmy and stroked Ryan's hair fondly.

"I've missed you so much my love", Kim said, still wrapping her hands around Trevor.

Trevor was annoyed with her movement and removed her hand quickly. I saw a red lamb-"

Trevor covered her mouth immediately from spouting any more nonsense. 

"Let go of me", Kim grunted and removed his hand from her mouth.

"Hi", Ana waved to Kim and Kim waved back. Ana went to Kim and they started gisting. Austin was descending the stairs slowly. He was playfully talking to someone over the phone. He ruffled Ryan's hair and sat on a nearby sofa. 

Tessa yawned and came out of the bathroom. She wore her clothes and sat on the bed. She was looking into nothingness. She had been receiving a chat from an unknown person but she likes the person talking to her.

No doubt, the person is a male and is very good with words. Imagine the person telling her her lips were lonely and asking if she wants to introduce them to him. She blushed when she read the pick up line.

Then, she had thought that she was being blackmailed by her enemy but now, she knows that the person likes her.

A notification popped on her screen. It was from an unknown person. She had saved his name as a secret admirer. 

"Hello beauty. How was your day?" She read the text and smiled sheepishly. "It was good. How was yours?

"It wasn't good"

Tessa was curious to find out the reason for his bad day and typed, "Bad? And why is that? What happened?"

"You should know that you are the sunshine that brightens up my day and I haven't spoken to you since morning"

Tessa embarked on a short trip to the land of blushing. She covered her mouth with her palm and read the message once more.

"What's making you blush?", Jun ho asked her and walked to her.

"Nothing", Tessa replied and tapped on another message quickly.

"How was school?", Trevor asked, sitting on the bed.

"It was good. Thanks for dropping me off this morning. I love you", Tessa said, smiling widely.

Trevor didn't reply to her and put some stubborn strands of hair behind her ears.

"Do you have a boyfriend?", Tessa heard him ask suddenly.

"Now? Presently?"

He nodded to her question and she shook her head.

"Damn", he muttered as he stared at her. He took her hands in his and caressed it slowly.

"Why are you so pretty?", he asked helplessly and she was confused.

"What do you mean?", she asked as he played with her hair.

"You're so pretty Theresa", Jun ho added as he cupped her face.

"What are you doing Jun ho? What do you-"

"If I don't do this, I will regret it in my lifetime", he interrupted her.

"W…what? Wha-what are you doing?", Tessa stammered as he leaned closer to her.

"I might die if I don't do it", he said and crashed his soft lips on hers. His hand circled her waist as she reciprocated the kiss. He still held onto her hand as they kissed passionately.

"I can't do this", Tessa breathed as soon as she broke the kiss.

"What?", Jun ho asked, scared that she would reject him. "Do-don't you like me?"he asked, afraid of rejection. 

"I do", Tessa answered. "It's just that -"

"I'm your friend", he completed the sentence and she looked at him. He was teary eyes.

He suddenly got on his feet and begged her profusely, "I like you so much. No, I mean, I love you too much. Please accept me. Accept me Tessa. I will die if you don't accept my love "

Tessa didn't know what to do at this junction. She really felt for Jun ho. She didn't like to see him sad. But the bitter truth was that she is not into him. He's her freaking friend so how does he expect her to love him? 

She had never dreamed of loving him romantically so how the hell did he think of that? She calls him a lot of sexy names and praises him countless times and even goes as far as calling him her boyfriend. 

"Tessa?", He asked when he didn't get her response. He hugged her waist tightly as she stroked his hair fondly. 

"I'm sorry Jun ho. But I can't accept your feelings. I like you but I don't have any romantic feelings towards you", Tessa said bluntly. There was silence in the room for some time. 

"Jun ho?"

"I'm fine Tess", he was still on the floor and she interlocked his fingers with hers. 

"Are you okay? Are you hurt?", she asked.

"Of course I'm hurt. You're so blunt", Jun ho replied as he dramatically held his chest.

"I'm tired", Tessa frowned and dropped her phone on the nearby table. She stood up and dragged the curtains to battle with the sunlight. The room became a little dark because of the curtains that were dragged. 

"I wanna sleep. I'm tired Jun ho", Tessa said as her mind went to the kiss she shared with him some minutes earlier.

Who do they take her for? A free kissing doll? First it was Zavier. Now it was Jun ho! She has kissed three boys now! Raymond, her ex boyfriend, Zavier, the bully and Jun ho, her fake boyfriend.

"I'll stay with you princess", Jun ho said and climbed on the bed with her.

Zavier slammed an invitation card on Tessa's desk. She didn't look at it. It was obvious that she was avoiding him. 

"I'm inviting you to my party", Zavier said to her for the tenth time. 

"My mom won't let me go", Tessa replied.

"So, you're a mama's girl", he asked and she nodded.

"That doesn't mean. Please be at my party", Zavier begged.

"I can't. My mum-"

"What if I pay $5000?", he asked.

"For what?", Tessa said. She couldn't help but gawk at his handsomeness. He was wearing a sky blue shirt and cream trousers.

The sleeves were rolled up a little bit to his wrist. He did wear a ring on his lip today. No doubt, he did look good. She didn't look bad herself.

She was wearing a jean pinafore and yellow top in it with a beautiful cap. 

"Why do you want me to be at your party so badly?", she asked curiously. Why would he be willing to pay five thousand dollars?

"That reminds me? I never knew your boyfriend would give you a car worth thirty million dollars", Zavier said changing the topic.

Tessa was shocked. Did he just say thirty million dollars? But Jun ho told her it was three million dollars or maybe she heard wrong.

"He said it was $3000000 not $30000000", Tessa argued.

"It should be more than that. I will be expecting you at my party, angry puppy. Make sure to wear something sexy for me. I'm so lucky that you saw me. Remember that you don't see ugly things", Zavier said and left the place with a sly grin. 

Tessa hissed at Anabella's comment when she heard it. Tessa dialed Jun ho's number to hear the actual price of the Lamborghini. It was not going through so she stopped trying his number.

"Let's see what this guy put up here", Tessa muttered as she took the card and went through the contents. She smiled and continued reading it. 

FIVE O' CLOCK

There was music blaring out of the invisible speakers. It was a new house. Everyone was coming. They were wearing flashy clothes looking radiant in it. 

Kim literally dragged her down to the party with Luke. Apparently, Kim was the only interested one amongst them. "Hi Matthew!!", Kim yelled and shook Matthew's hand. Tessa recognised him as one of the sevens. He smiled at her and she smiled back. 

Just then Damon was approaching with two girls. He sent a glare at Luke and Luke returned it back. Tessa looked at the guys. From Damon to Luke and from Luke to Damon. 

"Hi beautiful", Cole kissed the back of Tessa' s hand. "I never knew you were Austin the great sister", he continued, flabbergasted by the relationship. 

"Austin the great?"

"Yeah! Austin the greatest hacker. I'm your brother's biggest fan. Damn! You're so beautiful", he spinned her around.

"I gotta rate you over ten"

"What do I get?"

"You broke the scale. I gotta rate a hundred"

"A hundred over ten. You're so funny", Tessa laughed.

She was wearing a black and white skirt and a white top. Her long dark hair was let down at the party. "Let me take you to the VVIP club", Cole offered, taking her hand as he led the way.

Tessa's eyes searched for Zavier but she didn't find him. She sat amongst some guys and girls. She felt out of place. They really dressed to kill. 

"Meet Simon, Drake and Fred", Cole introduced three guys one after the other as they stared at her. "Glad to meet the girl causing a ruckus among us", Simon said loudly.

'Ruckus?', Tessa asked in her mind. The other two laughed out weirdly scratching their heads.

 "Nice to meet you Tessa"

"Nice to meet you Tessa"

"Same here ", she shook their hands one after the other.

Just then, she saw Cassie hitting a fork on a glass cup to gain the attention of the people there. "Gather here!! Gather here!!! We've missed drinks. We've eaten. We danced and told stories. Now's the time for truth or dare. If you wanna watch, you gotta pay a thousand dollars. If you wanna play, you sit over here", She pointed to a place that had a wider space and ventilation. 

Tessa saw Zavier approaching with a blonde guy. The guy winked at her when they made eye contact. She gulped when her eyes went to Zavier's abs. He didn't button his shirt and looked super hot. 

"Hi", Cassie waved when she saw Tessa with Cole. 

"Are you playing?" Cole asked.

"Yes", Tessa replied.

"What if you don't like the dare given to you?"

"It can't be that bad. Besides there's a fee to pay right?"

"Get ready to pay $5000 for every question you dare to skip", Cole said and she was shocked.

"$5000? I won't skip any questions or dare", Tessa said determinedly. 

"Nice", Cole said and began thinking immediately.

Tessa got up to sit at the proposed space for the game. 

Cassie got a bottle with water in it and spinned it on the floor. She looked at the people it faced and clapped her hands.

"Truth or dare?", the female asked the male.

"Truth", the male replied.

"What's the most embarrassing thing that's ever happened to you?", she asked

"I once walked into a crowded room and didn't realize my zipper was down until someone pointed it out. I had to discreetly zip it up, and the whole room had a good laugh about it. It was definitely embarrassing!", the guy said and they bursted into laughter. 

The female also had a good laugh. 

Cassie rolled the bottle once more and clapped her hand. "Si!', she said. 

"Truth or dare?", Simon askes Annabelle. 

"Truth", she replied and Simon frowned. "Dare is much more interesting than truth", he said.

"Si?", Cassie called out.

"Okay yeah. What's a secret you've never told anyone"

"I've secretly been corresponding with a long-lost sibling that my family doesn't know about. We reconnected online, but I haven't had the courage to reveal his existence to my family yet."

Cole laughed hard as he was hearing different opinions. 

Cassie spinned the bottle once more and clapped her hand.

"Truth or dare?", a guy asked a girl

"Dare", the girl replied and some guys rubbed their hands together in satisfaction. 

"Let me see", the guy said slowly and began thinking.

"If you think too much, you'll pay $1000 dollars", Cassie said sternly and they laughed.

"I dare you to….. I dare you to point to the worst sex partner in this place", the guy said and they clapped in satisfaction.

"This is not fair ", the girl whined. 

"$5000 for the fairness girly", Cassie reminded and the people laugh.

The girl pointed to a nerdy blonde and the people roared in laughter. 

"That's enough", Cassie snapped. 

She spinned the bottle again and covered her mouth this time at the outcome. Her brother versus Tessa. 

Zavier sat up and smirked when he saw his partner. 

"I can't believe we are witnessing a more real version the ' after' movie ", Simon joked and they laughed.

"Truth or dare Tessa?", Zavier asked with interest as he sat up straight. Everyone watched to hear what the beautiful girl will say.

"Dare", Tessa said and Zavier smile grew wider.
