I shrug, replaying the news about Randal's public scandal that was televised a few days ago in my head. "Not my fault he's fucking an unprofessional cunt. This was a favor we asked from him and his whore broke that favor. It's a disrespect to us and you know I don't take too kindly to that."
Gael nods then he goes on to tell me about the shipments coming in over the weekend. We spend an hour in my office before emerging into the now-opened club.
It's happy hour from five to seven in the evening. Patrons have started trickling inside, most of them coming from offices nearby. The club is getting vibrant, the familiar clinking of glasses and usual noise chatter hangs in the air. I do my rounds like I always do at every start of the shift, checking the kitchen to ensure everyone's following safety practices.
