Phoenix 'Pirates' VS. The Sand Shark Surfers

Tim, Nina, and Ellie followed in Ireene's footsteps to the Golden Wasakona in a matter of hours and proceeded with caution to save Ayuka's wounded body, and then eliminated the "Sea Noble" known as Byron 'The Cruel' Artemis, who has been enslaving people and putting them through harsh trials, with a bounty of $75,000,000.

They left, leaving Natan, Karisa, Codey, and Elliott behind, where the Sand Shark Surfers launched an attack in the hopes of eliminating Ireene because she had received assistance with her trial, which was to bring back water without dying, but that changed when the young friends arrived in the Golden Wasakona and dedicated their lives to protecting her and the people of the Golden Wasakona.

They ran at a steady rate to avoid becoming weary too quickly, and they'd covered a significant portion of the desert, separating themselves from the rest of their pals, while Ellie, who had been acting as a guard for their backs, maintained a suspicious gaze on their backs.

"This doesn't sit well with me. We had a free run when ten of those shark riders gathered in our area to begin an attack, but even after four of them were slain, we had a free run. It's strange that we were able to outrun them so quickly. We were able to see how swift the sharks were with our own eyes."

"That's true, and given how those individuals were always trying to assassinate Ireene, I wouldn't be surprised if one of them had followed us at the very least."

Their high defense was extremely advantageous and essential, and they continued to race across the sand with their bodies exposed to the heat and sunlight, which caused them to sweat profusely, and while Tim listened to Ellie and Nina's chat, he made a quick decision.

"We can't stop moving, no matter what they plan to do or where they are. The heat shouldn't be applied to Ayuka's body for much longer. It will very certainly aggravate her fever, putting us on a tight schedule. Despite having all those wounds and a terrible fever, I'm still confident that she'll stay strong and conscious while we're on a time constraint. However, if that period is cut short, we may never be able to save her from her condition."

"There's no getting around it. Even though Ayuka is strong, she won't be able to hold out for much longer if this continues."

"That is why we have come to safeguard her and take her to the doctor. I realize this is obvious, but it's the nature of the group. If someone on our team gets hurt or sick, we'll do everything we can to save them, even if it means dying in the process. If neither of us can complete this task, we will be regarded as bad people. That is why, no matter how awful things are, we must not give up!"

The Sand Shark Riders are a group of ten warriors who happen to ride on top of the fastest living animal in the Golden Wasakona, the Shore Sharks. The group is made up of eight men and two women, one of whom is Devia, the vice commander, who wields a precision bow as her weapon. She is the leader Walmo's right hand, alongside Dora, Tisch, Vrook, and four more men working for him. Their mission is to remove any type of human, whether a woman, a man, or a child, who breaks the rules of the 'Trial of Survival' and are on the hunt the most of the time, unless their king gives them another orders. If they are given a serious duty, they must stop all their missions, even if it is chasing down another rulebreaker, which is why they are seen as a threat to the Golden Wasakona's people, along with their sharks, and have all the rights that a king's side man would have.

"Now that our captain has gone to find the rule breaker, I will be in charge of the Sand Shark Surfers. Our job is to keep these individuals from pursuing our boss. There are four of us left, and four of them, so each of us will have to deal with one of them! I'll deal with their most ruthless soldier, the one who appears to be the curly-haired lad! The remainder of you should get rid of the others! Understand?!"

"Understood!"

"Now, finish your duty and launch an attack."

Dora, Tisch, and Vrook drew their weapons, two of which were spears and one of which was a cutlass. They sped and surfed through the sand together, locking their targets: Tisch fought Elliott, Vrook fought Natan, Dora fought Karisa, and Devia faced Codey, who had already demonstrated some of his abilities to them.

("The one with those boomerangs is dangerous. One mistake and one throw from him could blow all of us off the sharks, so fighting from afar is not very beneficial for me. Seems I'll have to go in from close.")

Devia lunged for her bow, straightened both edges into a long weapon to which she connected a sharp blade in the shape of a spear, then leaned forward and firmly planted her feet on top of the shark.

"Let's go, Ro!"

The shark waved its tail fins and darted across the sand at breakneck speed, tossing sand in all directions and beginning to make a line in the sand, heading directly for Codey, whose eyes grew crimson and he prepared his stance once more.

"Looks like that one's my opponent."

Codey began by taking a big step forward with his right foot, rotating his soles in the process. He then quickly swung forward with his outstretched right arm, swiped it in front of his chest, and launched the boomerang with enough force to elevate the sand surrounding him.

The boomerang swiftly sailed through the air in a snake-like formation as it quickly gained speed and began to approach Devia's far position on the sand. She noticed it in the blink of an eye and immediately drove the shark to the side, feeling the boomerang soar by her head, crash into the sand behind her, and then circle through the air and fly back at Devia, who had detected the boomerang closing in with her left eye.

With a combat scream, she quickly swiped her feet on top of the shark and abruptly reversed directions, forcing the boomerang to slam into the ground and shatter into the wind. She picked up her speed and began surfing in a half circle toward Codey.

Devia rushed to her destination, stretching her right arm to the side with the spear pointing in the opposite direction, and stabbing at Codey with full force. Codey quickly swiped his left arm in front of his chest, forming his boomerang into a dagger, which he used to defend himself and avoid injuries. Devia was taken aback when she spotted Codey pointing his right palm in front of her face, gathering wind.

("Damn it!")

Devia dodged and blitzed forward at tremendous speed, slipping to the side with Codey, who tracked her movements with great precision and chased her down with his free arm, but struggled to keep up with her pace.

"I can't keep up with her speed, and even if I did manage to do so, I couldn't be able to hit her with the blast. It's too short, and terrible at long range."

He plucked the wind from his palm and swept it to the side to grab the boomerang that had returned to his hold, and then he observed Devia approaching him at breakneck speed behind him.

He turned his body around, stunned, and realized that her spear's blade was closing in on his head, and that dodging would be impossible. He had no choice but to take the risk and slightly step to the side, allowing the spear to barely miss the side of his cheek, but then felt Devia's palm press into his stomach, pulling him with her and dragging him through the air, which Codey could not prevent due to the shark's incredible speed.

He was slammed into the ground and felt his back dragged through the scorching sand, some of which fell into his mouth. She pushed him forward and launched him through the air at amazing speed, causing him to be unable to move and only feel the wind blowing between his body.

Tisch laughed as he proceeded to surf over the sand with his spear in hand, keeping a close eye on his opponent, who happened to be Elliott, who stood still in the distance.

"Try to keep up with me! We're the island's fastest fighters! I'm known for being the fastest, so get ready because there's no way you'll be able to beat us in a one-on-one fight! Not at this speed, at any rate!"

Soon after speaking with him, he observed Elliott's body go in the distance, his eyes bursting out in surprise, and he heard a voice on the right side of his body.

"You sure about that?"

Elliott ran alongside him at the same speed, yellow lightning bursting from his body, his hair standing on end as the two of them exchanged glances.

"What the-"

"That's right! I can keep up with you easily, and I can even go faster if I wanted. Now who's the one being confident?"

Tisch became serious, but still had sweat dripping down his brow as he sped up with his shark forward and overwhelmed Elliott's speed, who sighed in response and on the next step unleashed black electricity, which caused him to vanish from Tisch's view and appear in front of him with his body diving in mid-air with crossed blade in front of his chest, and with a simple slash of the sword barely missed Tisch, who avoided it by turning past Elliott's body and left him behind.

Elliott turned around and immediately became bored as he slid down the sand to halt with the electricity bursting out of his body, after which he vanished from view once more.

Meanwhile, Karisa stood in the middle of a building sand whirlwind, Dora speeding around her in a circle, and Karisa couldn't keep up with Dora, who repeatedly chuckled in the face of seeing Karisa strained in one position, due to Karisa's lack of detection.

("She's a lot faster than I am. No matter how hard I try, I can't keep up with her. I can't help but notice her illusions everywhere around me.")

She continued to cast her glance in all directions while holding her pole, but she was unable to handle and read Dora's motions, which were out of her league.

Natan, on the other hand, continued to try to fire down Vrook, who was zigzagging over the sand at breakneck speed, but never managed to hit him with a bullet.

"Keep trying to shoot me! Even the bullets can't keep up with such speed!"

"Terrible music... This is rigged..."

The journey continues...
