Breakdown

The battle continued.

Carlos dashed across the road, dragging his scythe behind him. He continued to gain ground on Natan by cutting through the ground like butter. Natan leaped into the air, keeping a close eye on Carlos.

He melted the ground into butter and ripped the scythe from the ground as he reached the location beneath Natan's soaring body. He lunged towards Natan, unleashing a tremendous wave of buttery liquid.

Natan fired five bullets, but they were readily swallowed by the buttery liquid. Natan was thrown through the air to the nearest and highest structure when the liquid smashed into his body. Natan's body slammed into it, pinning him against the wall.

He fought to get away.

Carlos drew his bow from his belt and made an arrow out of butter. He tied it to the string and then directed the bow at Natan's body, which was jammed against the wall. He drew the string back, then let it go. It flew into Natan's body.

The arrow exploded into a tsunami of butter upon impact, which trickled all the way down the wall to the ground.

He twisted the bow to the side and fashioned a sharp blade from the tip. He slid across the buttery floor, he'd created before and accelerated. He raised the buttery floor to the appropriate distance and began riding it up to Natan's height as if it were a wave of water.

"Make one last prayer. The duel is over."

Just as Carlos was about to slice Natan's body like butter, he sensed a great surge of power spread across the air, followed by a voice that resonated throughout the sky.

"10 Million Volt, Thunder! Electro Wheel!"

Ellie rushed out from behind the tower and dove into Carlos from the air. Ellie had shifted his blade from in front of his chest to the side and then raised it above his head. He held it in both hands fiercely. The silver electricity released by the blade's tip continued to follow the sword's movement.

He dove from a great height and flipped forward quickly. He easily cut through Carlos' body, as the electricity created a wheel around him from the bottom to the top. As Ellie's blade pierced through Carlos' chest, it spread out. He pushed his foot against his injured chest, then transferred electricity from his body to the tip bottom of his soles, causing Carlos' body to zap. Carlos was sent flying through the air toward the very bottom of the road as a result of the spreading explosion.

Ellie quickly twisted his body to face Natan's stuck-on-the-wall body, delivering another electromagnetic jolt through the butter that followed within its liquid. It blew up from the inside out, hurling fluids in all four directions. It let go of Natan, who dropped fast to the ground and landed neatly. He was filthy and felt disgusting. Ellie chased him down and landed beside Natan.

As the two warriors stared down from the top, Carlos' burned carcass sprawled on the floor. Ellie's blade emitted one more jolt of energy, which he twirled and slid into his scabbard. Natan kept the violin and case in one hand while attaching the weapon to his belt. He paid attention to Ellie.

"He's done. What a strange ability he had. Let's meet up with the others..."

Codey swiped his right arm forward and hurled the boomerang. It blitzed through the air with intense spinning and blowing the sand from the floor asides. Joseph reached for his bread and hurled it forward in front of the boomerang's path.

He ran after the bread, pressing his palm into its back. He enlarged it and palmed it forward at breakneck speed before ducking behind it. The bread flew through the air and smacked with Codey's boomerang, which was overpowered and bounced back in his direction.

"Is he seriously fighting with bread?!"

He leapt into the air to evade the boomerang flying between his legs. He swung his right arm behind him and released an invisible wind-like string that wrapped around the boomerang. He swung forward with his arm circling him. Joseph sprang into the air and grabbed his sword as the boomerang was launched toward him.

As he grasped a stone, he sliced forward into the boomerang and diverted it to the side. He shrunk it and flung it forward, cutting through it numerous times before unleashing it as a long-range barrage of an attack.

Codey jumped on the unseen platforms he created with his wind skills and blew a powerful wind through his hand. It swept forward and hurled the pebbles at Joseph, who tossed one of the fragments and landed on top of it. He blew it up and kicked it forward, launching himself into a backflip.

The pebble, which had grown into something resembling a boulder, sped through the air. Codey caught his previously launched boomerang and whirled around it. He tossed it ahead at a jet's speed. It cleaved the boulder in half and shattered it into hundreds of pieces. The boomerang continued to speed forward, catching Joseph off unprepared. Joseph swiftly rolled his air in the air, narrowly avoiding the flying boomerang.

He fell to the ground on all four limbs and felt pressure coming from behind him. The boomerang whirled around and landed on his back, shaking his eyes. He dove into a front roll and narrowly avoided the boomerang's blades cutting into his skin.

He landed on the floor and made contact with it. He began to unleash spikes from the earth that he had made by expanding the area of the floor. They developed into Codey's body, which crossed both of his arms grabbing the boomerangs to protect himself from the spikes.

His body had been propelled hurtling back through the air and toward the ground despite a successful block. He managed to flip his body around and bounce over the air platforms before crashing into it and leaping to the ground.

The spikes retreated into the ground as Joseph lost his anxiety and bit into the next piece of bread.

"I thought I would've been done by now, but it looks like you know how to fight."

Codey ran forward, arms stretched behind his back, without saying anything. He let go of the boomerangs and materialized in front of Joseph, spinning through the air. "Wind-Fist Rocket!" He struck Joseph in the stomach with his knuckles, causing him to flinch. After absorbing the hit, Joseph spit the drool from his mouth and nearly passed out, but with no effort, he had placed his palm on Codey and suddenly emitted a weird energy. Codey's body blew out and shrank to the size of a doll in an instant.

"Whoa! W-What the hell!"

Codey's voice grew high-pitched and childlike, and Joseph's fingers abruptly grabbed the back of his shirt. Despite being humiliated, Codey continued to punch forward. Joseph laughed and held his gut as he simply struck the air.

"I think I prefer you in the size of a doll. Look at your adorable little baby face."

Joseph swung his fingers forward and smacked Codey across the face. "Ouch! That hurts!" As he hung from the tip of Joseph's fingers, Codey's countenance became quite disgusted, "Look at you..." A vein on the side of Codey's forehead sprang as his eyes flared in wrath. He began yelling and swinging his tiny arms and legs in the air.

"This is terrible! Just hold your breath! I'm going to kick your goddamn ass as soon as I get back to my previous size!"

Hearing Codey's shouting, Joseph carried Codey to the same pocket where he had placed Marienne's body and closed it. "Hey! Let me to go! Hey! I'm not a Pocket Monster in any way!" Codey could only see darkness and the single source of light, which was the hole, while trapped within the pocket. He turned to the side and saw that the person Joseph had shot earlier had been replaced with a female figurine.

"Ehhhhhhhhh?!"

Tim was slowly losing his breath as he stood in the distance, staring at Byron. By the second, Byron's right arm had raised a huge arm from the ground just behind Tim in a quick motion. It smashed down, but Tim managed to dodge out of the path and turn into a side roll just in time. He felt the tremor of his fist smacking the earth and then saw Byron approaching from behind.

The flames followed the tip of his fingers as he whirled around and swiped his left arm. The flames swiped at Byron's face, but he was unable to strike a blow. Byron avoided, and Tim's back was struck by Byron's knee the following minute.

It knocked him forward, and Byron's sand arm, which launched from behind him and smacked Tim in the back, pursued him down. A shock wave reverberated throughout the earth as his body impacted with the floor. Tim's body was entirely immobile for a minute, and he was pinned. He couldn't move at all.

Byron took a step forward and grabbed his neck. He dragged him out of the sand and began strangling him. Byron laughed as he saw Tim's pale eyes struggle to stay awake.

"What was the point of invading my domain if you were merely going to plan to kill me and then die in the process, gaining nothing? If I may say so, it's a bit of a blunder. You fought me without even understanding Shiboru. I mean, I can accept that if this is your way of kicking my arse. However, you are the only one who is dying today."

"S-Shut up! I-I swore I'll kick your ass, and I'll do it! A-As soon as I escape y-your stupid grip!"

Tim was drained of all his strength, but he punched forward anyhow, only to softly tap Byron's face. In the process, he laughed and tightened his grip on Tim's neck. Tim utilized his strength to kick forward, but because his shoes were not wet, his foot simply kicked through the sand, which was futile.

"D-Damn it..."

Byron smirked creepily before ultimately delivering the killing blow. He made a sword out of sand and stabbed Tim in the chest in the blink of an eye.

Tim's pupils slipped away as his eyes widened in amazement. His body got exceedingly mushy as he coughed out blood. It had lost its potency, and all that was left was for his wound to bleed. He was unable to move and was trapped inside Byron's grasp.

"It was a good shot, but good bye."

He dumped Tim into the sand after letting grip of his neck. After one last laugh, Byron strolled passed Tim's body. However, Byron felt a strong hold around his arm the following second. "I-I swore... I p-promised to k-kick your ass. D-Don't run a-away, you c-coward..."

"Still alive, huh? You're one tough of a cookie."

Tim's tight grip on Byron's leg was broken when Byron pushed his leg free. He made another sword out of the sand and stabbed Tim in the wrist with it. Tim screamed in agony as he struggled to get away from the invasion. He instantly became aware that his right arm was deteriorating. It was excruciatingly painful, and if it spread over his entire body, he would die instantly.

"I believe I will make you suffer and die a horrific death. You are more than deserving of such a horrible death. You did cause such a troublesome job of annoying me, so that's your reward."

Byron laughed one final time before leaving Tim, who passed out shortly after. Tim was troubled by their duel, and in the end he lost it and failed to uphold his pledge.

"Now that I've dealt with you, the rest of your pals won't be so difficult!"
