Hiroshi has transmigrated to teyvat and gained a group chat system. Hiroshi knows the people who have been invited from the chat group. They are anime characters, in fact they all live in the real world.
"Gabriel!"
A cheerful voice suddenly echoed through the lively convention hall. Carrying a paper bag, Satania ran towards them.
Thud!
Satania stepped on a crumpled flyer near a pillar and lost her balance. She fell to the ground and slid across the smooth floor, ending up in front of Gabriel.
"Ugh..."
Holding her reddened cheek, Satania was helped up by Hiroshi. She bowed slightly, tears in her eyes. "Thank you," she said, her voice cracking.
Turning towards Gabriel, Satania raised her right hand, now only holding two straps, and sobbed, "Gabriel, I won this time. I got the game discs we were racing to buy."
"Oh, thanks," Gabriel said, reaching down to pick up the game discs that had landed near her feet. She waved dismissively at Satania, whose eyes were still teary. "You win this time."
"Hehe." A smile appeared on Satania's face as she triumphantly placed her hands on her hips. "Gabriel, losing to the Great Demon Satania is nothing to be ashamed of. In fact, it's a lifelong honor for you. By the way, could you pay for the game now?"
"Eh?" Gabriel raised an eyebrow.
"Great Demon Satania, you defeated me, but now you want to take away what little living allowance I have left? That's too evil!"
"Oh." Satania scratched her head and nodded. "You're right; that's too evil. Not something a mere demon would do—that's something only a demon lord could do. I'll ask for it once I become the demon lord, okay?"
"You're an angel?" Kuroneko said, satisfied as she finished adjusting Gabriel's blonde hair. She looked up at Satania, who was now smiling, and asked, "And you're a demon?"
"Exactly!" Satania flipped her orange bangs, tears still clinging to the corners of her eyes. "My true name is Raphiel Ainsworth Satanichia McDowell! I am a great demon of Hell, destined to become its ruler! Ahahaha!"
"Don't mind her," Gabriel said nonchalantly, tugging at Kuroneko's sleeve. She took out a black halo from her bag and handed it to Kuroneko, her face expressionless. "Here, see? This is my angel's halo. Does that prove I'm an angel? By the way, I'm hungry—can you buy me something to eat?"
Gabriel sighed, rubbing her stomach. "Vignette has been managing my finances too tightly lately. She won't even let me borrow money from Satania anymore. This month, they released a new gacha, and I accidentally spent almost all my allowance."
Seeing Kuroneko flip the black halo over in her hands, Hiroshi pulled out a tissue. "Give it to me, Kuroneko."
He scrubbed the halo thoroughly until the tissue turned black, then threw it away. Holding the now gently glowing golden halo, Hiroshi looked at Gabriel with curiosity. "Where do you usually keep this? How did it get so dusty?"
"Oh, I usually put it on my bedside table," Gabriel replied. "But once it fell into the crack between the bed and the wall, and I was too lazy to retrieve it." Now satisfied with the halo's former glow, Gabriel nodded. "Thanks. By the way, can you buy some food for this cute angel? I'll praise you in front of the Lord."
Seeing Gabriel's starry-eyed expression, Hiroshi couldn't help but shake his head. "The praise of an angel really is cheap, isn't it?"
"No way." Gabriel put down her handheld console and looked at Hiroshi seriously. "This is a special deal. You'd better take advantage of it—there won't be a next time!"
"Yeah, yeah," Hiroshi sighed, glancing over at Satania, who was still posing dramatically. "What do you want to eat? I'll grab something for you."
"Pineapple bun!" Satania dropped her pose and looked at Hiroshi expectantly. "Are you really offering to buy food for the Great Demon Satania?! It's our first time meeting—why?"
Patting Satania's head, Hiroshi smiled. "Like my sister often says, 'I just think you're good people.'"
"No, no, no! Satania is not a good person!" Satania shook her head vigorously, clenching her fist. "I am the Great Demon Satania—how could I be a good person?! Though I am looking forward to the pineapple bun, I reject that reason!"
"Then how about this reason?" Hiroshi held up one finger, smiling. "I think we have good chemistry, so I've decided to buy you lunch."
"Hmph, but I still refuse!"
"Oh, then I won't buy your share."
"Uh!" Satania froze, looking at Hiroshi in shock. "How about you insist a little more? The Great Demon Satania might just agree!"
"No."
"Just a little more!"
"No."
"Ugh..."
With a gentle thud, Kuroneko set down the paper roll she was holding and patted Satania, whose eyes were beginning to water. "Hiroshi, is it really that fun to bully this child?"
"Yes." Hiroshi nodded honestly, pointing at Gabriel. "If you don't believe me, ask Gabriel. She just has that face that begs people to bully her—it's hard to resist."
"Mhm!" Gabriel nodded in agreement, giving Hiroshi a thumbs-up. "No wonder you're the partner of a demon—you get it. By the way, if you don't hurry and feed this cute angel, she might actually starve to death."
"Fine, fine." Hiroshi turned to Aki, who was busy at the booth. "Aki, it's almost noon now. To thank you for guiding us earlier, let me get you all some lunch."
"Huh?!" Aki wiped his forehead, looking at Hiroshi with a sheepish smile. "That would be great, Hiroshi. I'm really swamped right now. I was just wondering what to do about lunch. I'll make sure to save two copies of the game for you—make sure to tell me what you think after playing!"
"Sure thing." Hiroshi nodded and looked down at Gabriel, who was sitting on the ground, playing her console. "What do you want to eat? I'll pick something for you."
"Anything is fine, as long as it's food. I'm easy to feed," Gabriel replied nonchalantly. Then, as if a brilliant idea had struck her, she looked up at Hiroshi with a serious expression. "Why don't you support me instead? Just give me an allowance every week and a little extra for gacha pulls, and when you die, I can take you to heaven! Humans always want to go to heaven, right? This will be the best investment of your life!"
She looked at Hiroshi expectantly. "So, what do you think? Interested? There's no time like the present—just transfer me the money!"
With a light flick to Gabriel's forehead, Hiroshi shook his head. "I bet you'd get along well with that girl from Zhongli's place."
