A few days ago...
In the Angel's Share Tavern, Daleth looked at the two men sitting across her on the second floor with worries. 'I was too careless...'
The man who was known as Kreuzlied spoke first. "Once more, it is an honor to meet you, Miss Frostine."
"Let's stop the idle chat and go straight to what you want." Daleth glared daggers at Kreuzlied and Alec.
Alec, sensing her gaze, made a low chuckle. "Come on, don't take it too seriously, Frosty. I just kept a secret, is that something really that bad?"
"It doesn't matter." Daleth's cold look landed on him. 'It was my first mistake for easily trusting humans... Sir Isaac will be disappointed if he were to know this...'
Hearing her response, Alec shrugged and let Kreuzlied talk.
Kreuzlied, seeing them finish their talk, spoke. "Then I shall now go straight to business."
"We need your help, Frostine." Kreuzlied said.
"Why?" Daleth asked them back.
Closing his eyes, Kreuzlied sighed. "It is because you are the only powerful member we have."
"And as the leader of the organization, don't I have the right to issue missions to the members?" Although he said this, Kreuzlied did not mean it in a provoking way, but more in a tactful way.
Daleth, who had her arms crossed, tapped her shoulder. "Then what could this mission possibly be? And what will I gain from it?"
'Sir Isaac said that you should always ask for what it will benefit you first...'
Hearing her question, Kreuzlied gave a gentle nod and took something out from his pocket.
It was the same golden insignia that he showed Daleth.
"The third anonymous head of the organization." Kreuzlied proposed.
Hearing such an offer, Daleth immediately got flabbergasted. But of course, she hid it perfectly under her cold persona. Just like Isaac...
After a few minutes of contemplating, Daleth asked one more question. "What do I need to do?"
Kreuzlied looked at Alec and the latter nodded. The former closed his eyes and took a small sigh.
"Assassinate the legitimate and soon-to-be heir of the Lawrence Clan that is participating in the exploration. He is the direct son of Lord Lawrence."

In the Ice Palace, present time.
"Sending a message, you say?" Isaac asked with interest.
He had already known that Mondstadt is currently under the control of corrupt nobles through Daleth's weekly reports.
At first, he somehow got excited that Daleth was accepting missions from the underground society on assassinating some corrupt nobles. Due to this, a new idea appeared in Isaac's mind.
But after a second thought, he dismissed such a thought and tossed it off as a childish thought of his.
But now that Daleth was saying something like "Sending a message", the hidden memory that was dwelling in the depths of his mind reemerged.
The memory of... enjoying reading edgy novels.
Isaac was a person that liked novels where the main character is an "Ambitious thinker".
Meaning, that they have grand plans that they want to be achieved. Such as... Creating an organization that was hidden from the public eye.
Yes, those edgy novels. He was young back then.
'I'm... Basically in that situation now, aren't it?' Isaac thought with a nervous smile.
Making a fake cough, he changed the topic. "Regarding the secret organization you joined, have you found out their head?"
Daleth nodded, "My suspicions were indeed correct. The two heads of the organization who goes by the fake name of Kreuzlied and a bartender named Alec."
"Alec... Wasn't he your information broker?" Isaac raised an eyebrow
"Yes, it seems that he hid himself very well. Despite my investigation of him, he still covered this information about him." Daleth bowed as if she was feeling guilty for disappointing Isaac's expectations of her.
"Is that so...?" Isaac nodded in understanding. But his thoughts would beg to differ. 'Now that's what you call low-profile...'
Shaking his head, he looked at Moccus and gestures his hand.
Moccus, seeing Isaac's gesture gave a small nod and started speaking. "We already found an Adeptus."
Hearing this, Daleth was surprised. "How? Who? And where?" She genuinely asked.
"The Vigilant Yaksha. We sighted him from a distance killing several creatures in Dihua Marsh." Moccus replied. "After seeing him, we first confirmed he really was an Adeptus before leaving to avoid being noticed."
"Then... What is our next move?" Daleth looked at Isaac. Same for Moccus, both of them looked at Isaac.
Isaac, who was portraying a calm composure closed his eyes as if he was thinking something.
But in reality, he was sweating in nervousness. 'That's a great question... However, I'm as clueless as you two are.'
After a few moments, he had made up his mind. "We should continue to observe him for a while. See if he's not malicious and try to converse with him."
"But of course, if this fails, we must retreat immediately." Isaac started laying down the plan he just concocted. "We'll first lead him near the mountain so that my powers can affect him if things go south."
Daleth and Moccus heard this and nodded.
'This plan considers Moccus' safety as a top priority...' Daleth thought.
'A Yaksha... How exciting. However, I must be cautious.' Moccus thought
Seeing them thinking of something, Isaac clapped both of his hands and snapped them away from their thinking. "Well then, everyone, is there anything else?"
"What about the humans that will arrive here in a week?" Moccus said, clearly pointing out one of Daleth's report
Daleth heard this and focused on Isaac. She wanted to know how someone like Isaac would respond to something like this.
As for her own mission... She would hide it for now. She will personally do the mission without notifying Isaac. 'I'll report this matter at another time...'
Isaac, hearing the question, shrugged his shoulders. "I don't want to spill any blood so... I'll just put up an intense snow storm around the mountain."
"If that's not enough, I'll summon the Cryo Whopperflowers all around the mountain to scare them." Isaac said as the moon's moonlight illuminated his silhouette through the window behind him.
"And if they still persist..." Isaac's tone turned cold as they understood what he meant.
But in reality, he was just bluffing. He still has humanity in him, so he won't go and start randomly killing humans. That would be stupid. He just wants to give them an idea that he has control over the situation.
And yes, Isaac had been gathering Cryo Whopperflowers that had been appearing in the mountain. As for where they are currently, they were all hiding in the mountain's cavern.
Hearing Isaac's response, Moccus and Daleth both nodded in agreement.
Seeing that no one has any more reports, he slowly nodded his head.
"If there's nothing else, then—"
Just as Isaac was about to finish the meeting, he was suddenly interrupted by Daleth. "Sir Isaac, if I may, can I ask what you had been doing lately?"
"Oh yeah, you were always in your room and never leave..." Moccus added in. "What have you been doing in there?"
"Oh, that..." Isaac scratched the back of his head. "Nothing really. Just sculpting, writing, and drawing. Just things to pass the time."
'Pass the time? Oh right...' Daleth thought. 'Even if Sir Isaac is powerful, he's still trapped in this Mountain. It's only natural that he shall find something to quell his boredom.'
Seeing that this time, with no one asking any more questions, he stood up and they soon followed.
"Then this concludes this meeting."
"Yes!" Both Moccus and Daleth nodded.
Just as they were all about to leave the guest room, Daleth suddenly remembered something.
However, seeing Isaac's back leave the room, she just shook her head and dismissed the thought.
'Although reporting such a thing will get Sir Isaac's attention, I believe that he will not probe on it further...' Daleth shook her head.
'A clan of Muratans being enslaved...' Daleth thought of the race that had great strength. 'It truly is strange...'
