Death Wish

Just because I suddenly have a mate, that doesn't mean he's bound to control me, my choices, and my feelings. If I'm angry, then so be it. I don't need him bossing me around with a growl just because he knows I'm simply an omega and he's a delta.

He's my mate, but it doesn't give him any license to control me in any way. Not when I don't permit him, and not ever. I'm my own self ever since I could remember. Why is that going to change now?

/"What the hell are you doing here?/" I asked Alastor, surprised at how strong my own voice sounded. Even Deimos' head snapped at me when I spoke.

But Alastor didn't respond, only looking down at me. He didn't even flinch. His face was blank, I can't read whatever goes with his mind right now. And it makes me more frustrated.

How come he can freely read me, but with him, I'm completely and utterly at a loss? It makes me feel clueless and stupid, it's irritating.
