The Princess Of The Suzana Empire

"Don't move!"

The feminine voice rudely commanded Neo, his ears picked up the footsteps of several people racing towards their location and it turned out she wasn't alone. Their armor made the same sounds exactly like that of the men he just ran away from and his suspicions were confirmed, the feminine voice was accompanied by the same knights that pursued him.

"Turn around now!"

The woman commanded him and he was forced to comply, Neo knew that he transmigrated after he died but he didn't know where to. He woke up on the ground in the middle of a battlefield and according to the knights he mistakenly killed, he was supposed to be dead.

That meant the original host of this body was involved in a battle before he died and Neo transmigrated into his vacant body.

Neo turned around slowly to face them with his hands raised up above his head and to his surprise, they all had spears pointed at him and the woman issuing commands shared the exact same physical features and a striking resemblance to Sonia except she was more thicker.

"S-son-"

Neo kept mute, there was no way that was Sonia, he transmigrated into another world after all and last he checked he saved Sonia's life before he died.

"Uh-"

"Silence!." Sonia's lookalike spoke so loudly her voice echoed through the very forest.

"Your highness, should we kill him right here and now?"

Sonia's lookalike was revealed to be part of some sort of royal bloodline, the way the knight addressed her meant she was either a queen or a princess.

The remaining knights instantly extended their spear even more farther at Neo and in response he stretched his hands up even more to it's limits.

"Neo Tempest...."She growled with a deep voice that displayed malice towards the confused Neo.

She stared directly at him, her eye brows were lowered in rage and her fiery gaze reflected her hate for him, it was the man she had been hunting down this whole time and she finally caught him. It made Neo wonder what the previous owner of this body did to someone of royal blood.

"No, we'll take him back alive, we'll let father decide what to do with this murderer."

She spoke with anger, her knights nodded in affirmation to her command. It turned out she really was a princess.

"As you wish your highness."

They surrounded Neo before he could even blink and forced him down to his knees before chaining his hands behind his back, they carried him off his knees and threw him into the back of their carriage and took off.

A time range of roughly an hour had passed and the carriage Neo was transported in arrived in front of a huge castle. Most of the castle walls were lined with gold and Neo immediately concluded that whatever kingdom this was, clearly is rich in resources after gazing at the outcome of their wealth.

The knights forcefully led Neo into the throne room where the king ruled from, the throne room was larger than his compound back on earth. The king was seated on his throne with his right fist placed underneath his jaw, he had a white ponytail along with white bears which signified the presence of old age. This king's name was Leonard the fifth, the ruler of the Suzana empire.

To the king's right seated on another throne was a boy, 19 years of age. He had a ugly smug all over his face. Prince Nicholas was his name and he was known for his wickedness all over the Suzana empire.

The princess got on her right knee and placed her right arm on it, the knights threw Neo in front of her and in the presence of the king before bowing down to him.

"And who is this?"

The king asked with a voice that displayed his stress, he had so much on his plate and dealing with something as petty as this was a hassle.

"This father, is Neo Tempest."

The princess raised her head and faced her father with rage.

"Of the Tempest family, the man we've been searching for the past one year."

The king's nonchalant attitude changed, he was taken aback by the words of his daughter which prompted him to get up to his feet. Neo became worried, he was already worried after the princess called him a murderer but presenting him to the king in that tone was worrisome.

The king walked towards Neo who managed to get on his knees with his hands chained at his back. The king stood in front of him and Neo looked him in his eyes, eyes that reflected that of malice.

"Are you truly..a member of the Tempest family child?"

It was a difficult question to answer for Neo considering he knew nothing about the body he transmigrated into. Not to mention everything happened so fast.

"I uh...I guess so, I mean you won't beli-"

SLAP!

Neo fell to the ground after receiving a clean and swift backhand slap from the king, for an old man he was strong, freakishly strong enough to knock out a teeth from Neo's mouth with that one slap.

He spat out blood from his mouth while on the ground, Neo could hear the king's heavy breathing, he was pissed just at the sight of him.

"Guards...get this wretched thing out of my sight."

He ordered in a deep voice, not hesitating the knights who bowed to the king got to their feet swiftly and dragged Neo from the floor and away from the throne room.

"Well done Vanessa."

The king spoke to his daughter as the knights took Neo out of the throne room towards the dungeon.

"Vanessa?"

Neo muttered under his breath looking over his shoulders at the king and princess, that was the same name displayed by the system. He was supposed to gain the trust of a princess who considered him a murderer? Talk about a harsh quest.

"Hehehe..the little princess has finally apprehended her mommy's killer, how cute." Prince Nicholas chuckled evilly from his own throne.

The guards brought Neo to the castle's dungeon and threw him inside a cell before locking him up, they left his hands binded to avoid the risk of Neo using any abilities. It was obvious by now that this was a world of magic.

Neo sat down on the ground and laid his back against the wall, he sighed softly at the twist in events yet again. Looking up at the ceiling he saw some writings carved on it, probably by the previous inhabitants of this cell.

"Aen..system?"

As he spoke what was carved on the ceiling, the blue panel window in front of him once again and Neo was taken aback due to it's size and length this time around.

"What the!?"

The words on the HUD window looked like a bio-data of some sort and obviously it was Neo's, or at least the bio-data of the body.

He was still left in the dark on why the King and princess wanted him dead and yet the system wanted him to gain the trust of the princess. It became a very difficult task to accomplish.
