"A week since I arrived in this world, and my head still spins at the thought of how I got here," Dante declared as he rose from his cozy bed. Without wasting a moment, he headed to the bathroom to brush his teeth, a routine he stuck to religiously.

Dante, a game developer from Earth, found himself inexplicably transmigrated to a world strangely resembling his own. Just an average guy with a decent job at a wealthy gaming company, his journey to this fantastical place began with a mundane accident. One day, in a rush, he accidentally stepped on a toy truck that his pet had brought in from who-knows-where. The slip resulted in a tragic brain haemorrhage.

In the short time he had been in this new world, Dante picked up a few interesting tidbits. "This world is similar to Earth, but the technology here is way ahead," he remarked. The VR gear next to his bed caught him by surprise upon arrival, revealing a world where VR technology wasn't a novelty. It had been introduced by the military for training purposes, but due to software limitations, the research didn't yield optimal results. Eventually, the technology was released to the public and became mainstream.

Over time, public developers attempted to make their mark, but the gaming scene fell short of Dante's expectations. The VR gear, initially designed for games, took a detour into movie-watching territory, deviating from its intended purpose. As a devoted gamer, Dante felt the sting of disappointment as the gaming landscape turned into a sea of lackluster gacha games that drained wallets.
