[...??? Is it following you? Well, this situation is pretty good,] the system muttered in surprise.

Ken wasn't buying it and rushed to find another entrance, but even before he could enter,

THUD! THUD! THUD! THUD! THUD!

The sound of rock slamming the ground could be heard, but it was more of a soft landing-like sound, which was undoubtedly footsteps.

Ken didn't even have to go down to know that the elemental was there. He turned around and rushed back to the previous entrance, running deep into the 7th floor.

The sound of the elemental's footsteps came, and Ken became a little desperate as he rushed even more. "Why is this stack of rock following me!" he couldn't help but curse lightly as he looked for the entrance to the 8th floor.

[IT FINALLY CAUGHT UP!!! NOW SLOW DOWN A LITTLE!!! YOU ONLY NEED TO GET YOURSELF SQUISHED INTO A MEAT PADDY!!!]

The system yelled, but Ken ignored her and finally found the entrance to the 8th floor. However, this entrance had a problem. It was too big.

Ken unhesitatingly jumped down and hurried off, not even looking back.

BAM!!

The sound of something falling came, making Ken peek back. It was the elemental! The entrance was big enough for the elemental to get down.

Ken smiled bitterly as he now had to really put his back into running, and so he did.

Ken's legs strained as he ran as fast as he could while ignoring the system, which gave him pretty horrible advice accompanied by unnecessary info about how to die painfully.

Ken focused on making turns and escaping the elemental. He made another turn, and then, out of the corner of his eye, he saw something flying past.

BAM!!!

Ken glanced in the direction of where the impact noise was and couldn't help but gulp. There was a rock that could fit in his palm in the middle of a 3-meter-long crater, glowing red hot.

Ken ducked, and then a red rock flew over his head.

BAM!!!

He couldn't help but look at where the rock went, and it was the same result: a crater was formed.

[FINALLY IT STARTED TO GO FOR THE KILL!!!]

The system shouted in joy, making Ken want to curse but not daring to waste energy on it.

And then his luck shined. There was a small tunnel that went down, big enough for him to go down but completely block the elemental.

Ken quickly jumped down and left that place to find a place to get a little rest.

[...you lucky bastard.]

The system cursed, making Ken frustrated.

"What do you mean lucky... I am in the dungeon's lower floors! On the lower floors of the dungeon, there are entrances or tunnels or cave systems that go to the next floor in abundance, and after more than 20 minutes of being chased, I finally find one. The system offered lazily but there was some coldness in her tone. 

"No thank you, I am good," Ken rejected unhesitatingly, "I doubt it will be painless, plus I for all the time in the world," He added making the system whine.

"Show me the skills I can pick," He commanded and a screen popped up showing all the common skills he could pick. He scrolled through them not really finding anything good. 

[You should have picked Super rare or even unique skill, if you did then you would still have gotten 3469 system points.] 

The system stated making Ken hand his head down for a bit, "You think I am stupid, I was already there was a scheme behind the quest when you made the penalty and time so openly high," he shot back making the system whine even more but then

[...I just realized something, it took you 49 minutes to reach the 10th floor and kill the boss. And if I were to reduce the time you talked with me and Siria then you could have completed the dungeon in 31 minutes and that isn't even at your full speed]

The system calculated and then Ken also had a sudden realization, "...No way, you got to be kidding me," He helplessly muttered and looked down with dry eyes. 

[If you had picked something that exceeded the limit by a little, no. Even if you asked for 1.43 times more than the reward limit you could have completed the dungeon... and since the quest needs to be fair I can only reduce the time to 30 minutes, specifically 27 minutes and 43 seconds...]
