'There's no way Ken's dad is watching, right? But she was granted free rein over everything she does... so maybe not?' Eva felt skeptical, yet she sensed she might be underestimating Eleis significantly.
Suddenly, both Eva and Eleis turned their heads toward the game room, sensing Ken, but in the next moment, Ken appeared in his room.
A deep frown crossed Eva's face as she felt Ken's condition. She attempted to stand up, but Eleis placed a hand on her shoulder, preventing her from moving.
"Take some time to stay here and reflect on everything that has happened since I logged you out until now. Review and reconsider everything. Over the past two years, you have done your best to be perfect for him, but Ken doesn't want perfection," Eleis said with a smile. "Take your time; I will have a chat with him. By the time you finish gathering your thoughts, I will be done too," Eleis gently stated before vanishing, leaving Eva alone with her chaotic thoughts.
