Alessandro De Luca's wife is so…kind. I sometimes wonder if she's merely acting, but she's been nothing but accommodating and hospitable ever since I came to their suite. I'm not used to it. The only person who was ever this nice to me is Celia, our housekeeper, but even then she still smacks me when I'm naughty.
It's awkward sitting at the same table with the De Lucas. My grandfather has always told me not to get involved with them. So I don't know how to act around the two children after Aurora introduced us.
The older of the two, Sebastian, has a temper. He pretty much scowled at me the whole time—quite the opposite of his little sister, Gabriella, who smiled and looked at me like I was a new shiny toy. I wouldn't want to piss the brother off even more—even though I can easily smack his face if I wanted to—so I chose to sit in the empty seat next to the girl instead.
