Aurora doesn't accept my payment for the shirt, saying I should take it as a gift for bringing her daughter home. I feel a bit strange when receiving gifts as I'm not used to them—at least those from people who don't want anything from me in return.
We leave the store and drive to Bay Ridge where Riri's Nonna lives—not her real Nonna, but rather the sister of her grandfather, though everyone calls her Nonna, being the oldest woman in the De Luca family. It's about ten miles from where we were and it seems we'll be there in thirty minutes or so. Thankfully, the traffic doesn't seem bad today.
