Success

Angel's POV.

I was devastated when mom died. I thought that I had lost everything. My graduation program was finally here.

I was sitting in the grand hall of Oxford University in England but I wasn't paying attention to the graduation ceremony.

Surprisingly, I heard my name Angel Richardson. The guest speaker announced. I jumped in my seat out of shock.

"We are honor to announce Angel Richardson as the student with the highest GPA ever in the history of Oxford University." The Host announced.

"She is the first Africa and Liberia to obtain such a grade. She is the first to have such GPA ever in the history of Oxford" he continued.

I was surprised at that moment. I didn't know what to do. Was that a dream? I hoped it wouldn't end. I was sharing crying tears and laughing joy.

I was excited and sad at the same, time.

Complex feelings right?

I felt butterfly and knot in my stomach at the same, time.

Weird????

I remembered those horrible days, when people mocked at me. I remembered the sacrifices, pains and humiliation, I went through.

That made me to cry more. I slowly got up from my seat. As I walked up stage, I remembered mom telling me the story of how they met Sister Agnes. Sister Agnes give my life it's meaning and purpose. She brought light into my family darkness.

I was excited because, I knew where ever mom and dad where they were very proud of me . I was overwhelmed with joy, because I have gotten what they ( my parents) didn't obtain.

Most of all, I was excited because my country, continent and it's people where proud of, me!

I just stood there shaking crying and laughing as I took my, honor. I could feel all eyes on me, everyone clap for me, some shouted my, name.

I was asked to tell the World something.

I told the people that "Whatever you do, do it to your best". Remember "Success is not determine by the grades you make in school but by how you impact or change someone's life positively."

That's the definition of "true success".

The greatest achievement is making an impact on people's lives

Xoxo
