Chapter 17: That's a problem...

"Hey, Was it wise? you know sending a non modern people from another world alone without a guide." I asked Tama as we walk in the Halls of the hotel.

"They'll be fine."

"So how are they going to get some money for additional fund?"

"Don't know how they will do it but as long as they got it. It's ok."

"I see."

"Yep, I need something to test first before we continue one of our plans." She said as we entered the kitchen of the hotel and saw it was empty.

"Where are the chef?"

"They all have gone to have a 3 hour break so it's just us here at the moment." She said as we walk towards one of the empty kitchen.

"Furuichi, You have tried the Sea King meat that Garp gave right?" She asked me.

"Yep, I cooked it. Why you asked?"

"Perfect. I want you to cook my portion of the fish." She said as she take her phone, open the storage and a large piece of meat landed in the table.

"I want to you to compare the dish you made on your world and the dish that you will make in this world with this ingredients from another world." She said to me.

"Sure." I took off my jacket and grab a apron and set some of the equipment that I will use to make the dish.

"Alright here." I said as I placed 2 dish that I made from the Sea King meat in the table. One for Tama and one for me.

"Let's dig in then." Tama said as we tried the dish that we create.

I tried it again and tasted that something is strange. It was delicious but something is different from the previous dish that I created in my world.

"It's delicious but definitely strange."

"Yes, it's delicious but I think the fish taste like a high class fish but I didn't feel any reaction at all like the food we ate in the diner" She said and I agreed.

"Along with that, when I cooked this dish in my world I was sure that the meat was very different from any fish in my world that I have cooked but when I cooked it here. The meat tasted like a normal high class fish in my world."

"As expected."

"Hm?" I gave her a confused look.

"Let me ask you, what kind of world is this again."

"Gourmet World."

"Exactly, remember in note 4 that we will feel something different or change when we entered this world. What are the chance that different ingredients that is not normal from this world will change because of the rule and law of this world."

"I think it's possible."

"So the plan to create 10 different dish that is not from this world will be much more difficult."

"True, but still if we will create 10 dish that is not from this world how are we going to do it? if a dish that has never been tasted then there might be chance but not from this world? We are surely going to rely on the ingredients that is not from this world."

"Why don't we wait for the others first then we can another meeting. For the mean time why don't you cook the exact same dish only used the ingredients from this world." I nod at her as I try to make the same dish only using this worlds ingredients.

- Yunyun PoV -

"Then the Final number is... 69!!"

I am currently here in a special lottery with Garp and Happy as I celebrated from winning 500 million in the lottery.

"Congratulations!" Garp said and I was delighted. We went to the office to get my prize and gave me a check to exchange it in the bank.

"Is this already enough?" I asked them.

"I think that's enough for today. We can just return here whenever we want." Garp said and I only nod.

(Over there! let's try that Yunyun!) I followed where happy is pointing at and saw that it's another lottery only much more grand.

"Sure."

"You should also already the stones just in case." Garp said to me.

I just nod and placed the stone in my head and we went towards the lottery.

"Hello, how may I help you?" The staff asked us.

"Excuse me. What are your prizes?" I asked them.

"Oh? You want to try? Then you only need to do is cook us a meal and see if you can participate in our lottery." The staff said as she showed us a kitchen with fresh ingredients in another section.

"What about it? you want to try Yunyun?" Garp asked me an I nod at him, happy jumped from my arms and head to Garp as I make my way to the kitchen.

I wear the apron and tied my hair to a ponytail before grabbing the ingredients I need, then I prepared the equipments that I need for my dish.

I first want to learn how to cook to find friends but now that I have friends. I want to cook for them and made them happy. Even though they are from another world, I feel happy that I found them that they are weird but quite enjoyable company.

"Here it is, My special Strawberry cheesecake with Vanilla lava ala mod!" I presented my dish to the staff.

"Beautiful!" She said as she look at my Strawberry cheesecake.

"Now then, time to taste it." She cut my cake and grab a piece and put it on her plate.

"Um- Excuse me?" I asked nervously.

"Yes?" The staff looked at me.

"Ah- Ca- Can my friend also try my dish?" I asked her as I point at Garp and Happy. sitting in table and looks like they are sleeping.

"Sure." She said to me as she took two plates and gave it to me.

I thanked her and cut some piece and head towards Garp and Happy.

- Staff PoV -

'Ah~ what a pretty cake.' I thought before I looked at the dish more closely. I see that in the middle of the two sponge there is a creamy texture that falls like lava.

'This must be the vanilla.' I thought before taking the fork and take a piece and ate it.

"Ah~!" I moaned as the Sponge was not light or heavy but a perfect balanced. The cream was sweet and have a light texture that work perfectly with the sponge.

It's like I'm being hit back to back by the sponge, it wasn't hard but softt instead that made want to be hit every time.

'Then with the vanilla.' I take another piece with the vanilla this time I tasted that the vanilla elevated the dish flavor.

With the vanilla it felt like a geyser of vanilla hit me while the two sponge squashed me as they held me down while I was hit by this creamy white stuff that's tasted sweet and yummy.

"It's like a Strawberry Cheesecake: Slumber party.' I thought as I remember the last time where I used to play pillow fight with my friends.

'Its like I am returning to my teen years where my friends and I have slumber party.' I thought before I felt a wet drop in my hand. I looked at it before more wet dropped in my hands. Finding the source, I saw tears coming from my eyes as I remember my friends.

'I- I miss them.' I thought with longing as I remember my friends as I felt lonely. I don't have someone to complain to, someone to be there when I am sad and someone to enjoy with moments that's memorable to me right now as they are busy and have their own things to do.

'I guess a little reunion and some get together is fine to catch up now and then.' I thought before wiping my tears and to call my friend for a little get together later.

I looked at the young woman and saw her smiling as the old man and cat ate her dish and talk to them as she smiled.

'You must have been lonely for a long time huh.' I thought before calling the woman.

"Congratulations, you have passed. Please try the lottery and see what you can win." I presented it to her and she tried the lottery and saw that she have won.

'Looks like she is also not a fine chef but also very lucky.' I thought.

"Congratulations you have won a sponsor ship of the Totsuki Academy."

"Hai?"
