Test - I

After arriving at the test hall, Jay heard people talking about the strong young generation that will join in the test.

"Hey, do you know that they will participate in the test!" murmured a young man with glasses.

"Yeah! I heard that the son of the Frost family is participating in the test!" replied another guy. "But isn't the princess joining the test too?"

'What are these people talking about. Princess and a noble heir joining this test huh?.' Thought Jay while making a grin on his face. "This will be interesting."

With a curious face, he walks through the crowd and asks one of them. "Do you know the name of the princess?"

"Oh, I think I remembered that she is Princess Alice." Replied one of them. "And the Frost family son is Ray Frost."

'Atla tell me about Princess Alice and Ray Frost.' Said Jay in his mind. [Searching for Princess Alice... Searching for Ray Frost information.]

[Description: Princess Alice is the third princess of the Flamis Empire. She is talented since she was young. Her mastery is fire element and sword.

Jake Frost, is the second son of the Frost family. Just like the family name he is a user of the ice element.]

'Oho what an interesting people. Can I use their element mastery Atla?' Asked Jay. [Yes, the host can use their element mastery if the host uses his chaos element to devour the element.]

Then after waiting for a long time, the examiner finally come to the test hall. The examiner then started to explain the rules of the test and how they can pass it.

"Greetings everyone, now I will tell you what is the test about. The first test is testing one of your affinities with the machine. But the second test, all of you will fight one on one." Announced the examiner.

Suddenly the test hall was transformed into a big arena. In the middle of the arena stood a big pillar. The only pillar was five meters tall with a strange runic letter.

"Don't be afraid, this pillar will test your affinity and rank. Your affinity will determine your class." Said the examiner and asked, "Do any of you have a question?"

"Sir, I have a question. What is a rank?" Asked a confused girl.

"Good question. A rank is a level of your power. For example, Headmaster Blake is a general rank. On Earth, we have 6 ranks starting from Novice, Apprentice,

Soldier, Captain, General, and Commander." Explained the examiner.

"Now then let's start the test!" Shouted the examiner. One by one the name of the participants are called. Not everyone has the same affinity. Some people can control ice elements, fire elements, earth elements, air elements, water elements. But some people have strange powers like telekinesis, transformation.

After waiting for his turn, Jay finally got called. "Jay Khaos." Shouted the examiner.

Then he goes up the arena walking near the pillar. "Put your right hand in the pillar." Said the examiner.

Then he proceed to do what the examiner told him. But suddenly they saw the weirdest thing in their life. Jay has no affinity.

"How can he don't have any affinity!?" Shouted a crowd. "This... How is this possible!" Even the examiner couldn't believe it.

Jay then tries again and puts his hand on the pillar but the result is still the same. "Young man, you can just wait in the fire group." Said the examiner.

The first test is finally over and so the second test finally begins. A tall bulky man goes up the arena and the other one is small compared to him.

"Listen here, I don't wanna hurt you. So just give up kekeke." Laughed the big guy with a grin on his face. But the other one doesn't seem to care about it and was preparing to fight.

When the fight started, the big guy instantly direct his fist to punch his opponent. Thinking that he will win so easily, that thought was ruined instantly. The small looking guy suddenly disappeared. Of course, because he can control the wind element that made him fast and agile.

When the big guy was clueless, his opponent suddenly appeared behind his head and kick his face. The sudden attack makes him knocked out instantly. And so the winner is decided.

"The winner of this first battle is Chen Ming." Announced the examiner. The test then proceeds according to the list of battles. When the tenth fight was over, something interesting came.

"Eleventh fight will be Princess Alice against Zane Watt." Shouted the examiner.

Princess Alice is a strong girl, but Zane is also one of the top young generations. He can control lightning elements.

The two of them then walk towards the arena. Then they stop after facing each other directly. "Princess, I'm sorry but I have to attack you." Said Zane in a sad tone. "Just attack me and stop that acting Zane." Replied Alice.

The fight started and their sword collided with each other. Alice's sword was a flaming sword while Zane is a lightning sword. Their sword style seems different, while Princess Alice focused on attacking, Zane was more defensive and waiting for a chance to attack.

*CLANG*

The voice of that two swords echoed in the test hall. The fight is way longer than the other battle which makes it more intense. Fire against lightning and used by the top young generation is a rare battle people can see in their life.

Soon both of them look tired and exhausted after the long fight. But with the little energy left, Princess Alice somehow win the battle by directing her sword and stopping it before reaching Zane's neck.

"Look like I win the battle." Said Alice in a happy voice and a proud face. "Yes, I lost." Replied Zane that looks very exhausted and can collapse anytime soon.

"The winner of the element battle is Princess Alice!" Announced the examiner.

And so the test continued with Jack Frost winning the twelve battles and another guy winning the thirteen battles.

"Fourteenth battles, Jay against Alec." Shouted the examiner calling our name. With a smile on my face, I got up from my seat and walk toward the arena. You know it is boring to just sit and watch people fight.

Then we face each other in the arena, that guy Alec seems to prepare to fight me. But I just smile because all I need is to copy and devour his power. "Battle Start!" Shouted the examiner.

Then I see Alec charge towards me using his wind elements making him faster. But using my chaos elements I can see his moves even though he is fast and agile.

I dodged his attack and just defend myself from his attack. I plan to make him tired so I can take a chance and attack him, I know that this will make him mad because I look like playing with him.

Just expected, he is mad. "STOP DODGING AND FIGHT ME YOU BASTARD!!" Shouted Alec. After I see him recklessly attack me he started to get tired and his attack is slowing. I saw a chance to attack him.

Using my hand imbued with chaos energy, I attack his shoulder. "AAAAKKHHHHHH!! YOU BASTARD!?!?" Screamed Alec because his right hand is not attached anymore. He glances at me and sees me holding his hand.

"Does it hurt? Little Alec." I mock him and use my skill. 'Devour.'

His arm is not in my hand anymore because I devoured it and receive his power.

[ Received Wind Elements ]

[ Received Basic Wind Magic, Air slash ]

[ Received Basic Wind Magic, Wind travel ]

Alec was shocked his arm suddenly disappeared from my hand. Then with his remaining energy, he uses his left fist toward me. Looking at him, I use wind travel to dodge his attack.

Seeing him desperately attacking me I make a grin on my face and use Air slash. I killed him in front of everyone and the examiner.

"MURDERER!!!!!" Screamed the crowd. Making a lazy face I devour his body and so make my affinity with wind elements upgraded.
